Transfer from Pop to MCO

Hi everyone

We're going to be staying at Pop at the beginning of July. We booked through Virgin Holidays and as neither of us drive, we booked the return transfers.

My question is about the return transfer. We don't plan to checkin at DTD and thought we'd just wait till we got to the airport.

• Has anyone done the transfer from Pop?
• Roughly what time were you picked up?
• How long did the transfer take?
• Did you arrive in plenty of time for checkin?

Sorry about all the questions. I'm getting really excited about the trip and want to get everything worked out in my head - I'm a bit of a planner!!

Are you doing Magical Express transfer? If so, what airline are you flying? If your airline doesn't participate in the program on your return transfer, POP will hold your luggage for you in the luggage area until your DME bus arrives. You must take your bags with you once off of the bus at MCO and check in with your airline. With participating airlines, you can check your luggage at the resort, and they will take care of the rest.

Virgin holidays in the UK arrange their own private transfers to and from MCO so we weren't given an option for the Magical Express.

Our flight home to the UK doesn't leave until approx. 6.15 pm, so the idea of Pop storing the luggage sounds good!

If you can get the disney reservation number from Virgin (I told them I needed it for the adrs) you can still use dme, I have booked it for myself in September.

Trying to contact Virgin customer services is sometimes more trouble than its worth. I contacted them recently by e-mail to query something on the invoice. It took TWO WEEKS to get a reply.

Trying the call centre is problematic because a lot of the time the person I speak to has trouble understanding my accent. It is an exercise in patience over the phone!

Ive always used DTD check in but I think if you don't use it they will pick you up at about 3:30 -4pm. It takes about 40 mins to get to MCO from Pop, they will get you there in plenty of time. Once you have checked out of the hotel there is a room there that you can store your suitcases until they are picked up.
