Wednesday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - cheese & pastrami roll, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - small baked potato with chk & bacon filler

Didnt get to gym, going tomorrow instead!

Weather for the weekend forcast 75 for saturday & maybe 80 for sunday :cool1:

Just gotta keep everything crossed that all goes ok for grandad when he goes in hospital on friday!

Thursday

b/fast - toast
lunch - chk salad, yogurt
dinner - pizza made with wholemeal fatitjas

Went to gym :banana:
I had said on Tuesday that since i've been exercising my knees have felt better....i go to gym & there now killing me!!!! 1st time thats happened!!

Good food day (infact week!), i was tempted after my dinner - but resisted :cool1: I think partly because i knew we where having KFC tomorrow (Friday)

Friday

Teaching training day at another school = loads of goodies :sad2:
I tryed to resist, but didnt do much of a good job!

B/fast - cereal
snack - mini muffin, grapes
lunch -4 slices of bread with cheese on, 1 piece of quiche, 3 strawberries, 1 mini cream scone, 1 mini muffin, 1 mini sausage roll, a few gum sweets.
dinner - supposed to be having KFC but i feel like a whale now!! Gonna have to have it though as we promised DD, hopefully i wont want to eat much of it now!!!

Knees still hurting, but not at gym till Sunday, so hopefully they will feel better by then!

Grandad has had op, rang hospital (its quite far away & he should be allowed home tomorrow if all goes well) & they said he is ok, got to ring in morning to see if we can bring him home, so praying everything goes ok.
I've put his pic in my avatar :)

WI - no loss, but no gain either so i'm happy the 2lb has stayed off!
Got to try & have a reasonably good weekend - especially after today!!!!

Grandad is home :cool1:
Had a scare this morning though!
We rang hospital to see if he could come home & they said he had internal bleeding :scared1: & we had to wait till the dr had seen him.
I just put the phone down & burst into tears!
But they let him come home but he has to completly rest & he's staying with my parents for a few nights so hes not alone.
Please keep him in your thoughts & send some pixie dust for him to make a full recovery.

Tracey, really keeping your granddad in my thoughts and prayers. That is good they let him come home, I'll swear every patient does better when they get out of the hospital and back in a loving home environment. So glad he can stay with your parents and not be alone. And I love the picture in your sig! Don't worry about eating a bit too much at the training thing, its just so hard to resist that much good food especially given your stress and worry over your grandpa. You could have done way worse! Hope you got that nice weather and just know we are all thinking and praying for your family!:hug:

lunch - 4 crispbreads, yogurt, small choc bar
dinner - tomato & red pepper soup with 1 slice of bread

Went out :rolleyes1
Drank lots of alcohol, had pizza & fries at midnight :sad2:

Sunday

b/fast - cereal
lunch - pasta with tuna & tomato
dinner - 3 crispbreads, yogurt

Went to gym.....JOGGED FOR 18 MINS WITHOUT STOPPING:cool1:
MY NEW RECORD :yay: Cant tell you how good that felt!

Went to visit grandad he looked good, mum said he looked terrible the day before but was loads better today :) Took him some grapes ;)

Weekend weather was a let down! Saturday was sunny but VERY cold wind - low 60's, Sunday - sun didnt come out till late afternoon!!!

Today (Monday)
b/fast - cereal
lunch - mexican chk salad, banana, strawberries
dinner - steak pie, potato slices in a cheesy sauce, corn cob, yogurt

Went to gym again to see if i could do the 18 mins again......drum roll.....
I DID IT AGAIN :cool1:

Off to catch up on journals, thankyou so much for the kind words for grandad, they worked :goodvibes
 
GREAT job with the running, Tracey!! :cool1: 18 minutes is a LONG time!! I couldn't do that right now. :rolleyes: Make sure to take rest days, though. Give your muscles time to regroup. :thumbsup2

I'm SO glad your granddad is doing well. Pixie dust and prayers are powerful things!
 
I'm so glad you gandpa is doing better, that must be such a relief.

Holy Cow! 18 minutes--I'm SO impressed. That is awesome, and you did it two days in a row, even cooler. Congrats!

So glad granddad is doing better, thats great news! And WAY TO GO jogging for 18 minutes straight. I am mightily impressed! I may try to start jogging for short intervals on my treadmill to see if I can do that as well. I am betting that burns lots of calories.

As for the weekend of food and drink, well I was doing the same thing! Weekends are wonderfully evil arent' they?;)
