Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Hi Tracey - Thanks for sending the sun....I mentioned it in my journal, I think the sun got sidetracked, but it finally made it just in time for the weekend!!! I enjoyed it!! :)

I agree with everyone else, you are on holiday....don't worry abou it. We all fall off when things are a little out of whack! You'll get back on track!!!

I'm worried about all the snow & cold weather you guys are having! Usually we get your weather about 1-2 weeks later!! :eek: I've packed all my winter clothes away!!!

They have forcast snow & freezing tempretures for the weekend!!!

b/fast - cereal
lunch - soya & linseed bread sandwich with cheese & onion filler, yogurt
dinner - potatos in a cheese sauce with salad & fish in a tomato & cheese sauce.

Went to gym :thumbsup2
Really struggled today though :confused3 Just did cardio.

Tuesday
b/fast - toast with low sugar apricot jam
lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - spicy Asian soup with one slice of soya & linseed bread, sugar free choc pudding with a biscuit (cookie!) crumbled on top.

Went to bums & tums class :thumbsup2

Back at work, been feeling down but i'm putting that down to being tired & being in the middle of TOM!!!

DD wanted to quit choir, i wasnt happy with her! Everytime she starts something as soon as it gets a little bit hard she wants to quit, gave her a big lecture about how you have to work for what you want & shes agreed to give it a try for a few more weeks! If she can keep it up till September she will go into the senior choir where i think she will enjoy it more as they have more participation.
Was i too hard??:confused3

Thanks for the well wishes for DH he is on the mend & went back to work today!
I was actually quite hard on him yesterday, cos he got up to go to work & sat on the side of the bed for 10 minutes looking like death & then plods across the room. He's also asmatic. So i shout 'why are you going to work are you stupid??? Youll just make yourself worse! just call in & tell them your ill'

Julie - the weather was pretty warm for April - it actually hit 80 on Sunday!! April over here can go either way, warm, wet. windy, snow...you just never know! but temps not usually higher than hi 60's!!

I didnt send you & Jamie the sun so you could send back the snow!!!
Lets hope the weather man gets it wrong!!
 

I totally think follow through is one of the most important things you can teach a kid...I mean, it's only a couple more months, she can stick it out. Esp. if seior choir is something she'll really like! So good job, mom!

The bums and tums class made me :lmao: What a great name for a class...I think I need some of that :)

Great job getting yourself to the gym, even though you didn't feel 100%, great dedication. And your food looks great as well. I've never heard of soya & linseed bread, but it certainly sounds healthy :)

Wednesday

Woke up with a banging headache:headache: lasted all day & into Thursday, i think it might be from bums & tums class from doing loads of crunches!!!
Had back ache too!!! Isnt it supposed to be my bum & tum that aches - not my head & back!!!:confused3

b/fast - cereal
lunch - mexican chk salad, strawberries, yogurt
dinner - ham, tomato & mushroom omlette

Went to gym :banana: burnt over 700 cals :cool1:
DH & i had words Tuesday night & arnt speaking at the moment :sad2:

Thursday
Still got headache

B/fast - cereal
lunch - soya & linseed sandwich, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - having chk fahitas (SP!!)

Food been good so far this week :)

DH & i still not speaking!! :sad2: I'm still too mad with him!!!

Bekki & Jamie - thanks :hug: DD is going to have ago at choir - fingers crossed!

Bekki - the soya & linseed bread is yummy, DH & DD says it tastes like bird seed!! But they still eat it!

I always make DS finish what he started. It teaches them not to be quitters and also choose wisely when they sign up for something!

I hope you and DH are on speaking terms again... :wizard: I'm sure it's all his fault! :laughing:

I will be in Yeovil, which I believe is southwest of you. I wish it wasn't so far away or that I wasn't such a chicken to drive on the wrong (sorry, I mean left) side of the road! Maybe we can still work something out, it's still a month away!

You are doing great at the gym, I bet you are in great shape!
 
Hey lady. Time sure flies, doesn't it? You're doing great with going to the gym and with your food. Some of the stuff you eat, I have no idea what it is!! Can you start posting pics like people do in their WDW dining reports? :laughing:

Hi Tracey, hope you and dh are speaking again! Remember you can't order him around if you aren't speaking! I agree with Amy M., its probably his fault! Must be something in the air, my dh and I had a spat yesterday and I saw another journal mentioning the same thing (dh stress that is). I think you were right to say that to dd about choir. Sometimes you have to get a bit tough with the youngsters! In any case, I hope she sticks with it, it sounds like the next level would be more fun. I hope your snow goes away soon! Its been a strange spring here on Planet Earth! Have a great weekend!

dinner - pepperoni pizza made from wholemeal fahitagas (SP - i really must learn how to spell that!)

Saw my 'man friend' not sure if hes a bit creepy now, maybe its cos he told me he thought i looked great when we were discussing weight loss!!!

BIG NEWS
WI - LOST 2 LB'S :banana:
1st loss in months & months!!:woohoo:

BAD NEWS
Went out in the evening had too much alcohol...again & came home at midnight & ate chk & chips (fries) with cheese & mayo on top :sad2:
Havnt got on the scale today as i dont want to burst my bubble!!

When we were walking to the pub, i got whistled at & shouted 'nice legs' :thumbsup2 ...even though they looked like 15 year old louts i was still pleased!!

Today (Saturday)

b/fast - none too full from last night!
lunch - 3 crispbreads, yogurt
dinner - off to DB's for a bbq, please let me have will power!! At least i wont be drinking as i'm driving!

Done nothing at all & feeling guilty! Think this exercise is getting addictive i'm itching to get to the gym tomorrow!
I wanted to go shopping until i balanced my cheque book :rolleyes1
So i'm hiding out at home trying not to be tempted!

COngrats on the loss! That's fantastic (and I'm sure the fun time last night won't effect it :) )

I love that feeling where exercise is addicting. I think I'm just starting to get it. It certainly helps motivation :)

Just a quick update
Wasnt good at the bbq!! by the time we got there i was starving as i'd only had 3 crispbreads & a yogurt all day!!
Had loads of dip & chips (cheese & chive dip is my weakness!!), 2 pieces of quiche, big pile of cous cous, small pile of pasta with tuna, 1 medium sized burger, 1 small piece of steak (smaller than my hand!),1 kebab & 1 small piece of toffee cheesecake with a pile of strawberries on the side with cream!
Drank diet coke.

Went to gym today, burnt 740 cals & then did 10 lengths in the pool.
I'm tired out!!

Today (sunday)
b/fast - cereal
lunch - small piece of ham & mushroom pie with green beans, small baked potato with cheese on top (felt i needed the carbs after my mad workout!)
dinner - having a cheese & ham roll, got some chocolate to nibble while we watch American Idol :rolleyes1

Went to see grandad as i proberbly wont get to see him before he goes into hospital on Friday.
DD went to the movies with a friend, so i had a walk around the shops - bought 2 tops :rolleyes1

Hey Tracey. Glad you didn't get snow! We finally had some sunshine and warm weather!

I admire your restraint with shopping. I need some of that! I think this "surprise" trip to WDW is gonna cost more ahead of time, because I keep thinking of things I want to include in the reveal. :rolleyes:

I am so glad the snow missed you!!! I love it when that happens. That happened to us a few weeks ago. They were calling for 10 plus inches of heavy wet snow and we didn't get a flake that day!

Congrats on the weight loss...that is great!!!!! And compliments...that means what you are doing is working!!! Keep it up.

Glad Scotland got the snow instead of you! Well thats nice the guy at the gym and the young boys like your body! I am also glad you dh are speaking again! Don't worry about the bbq, sometimes we all need a splurge. Get right back on track, don't weigh for a few days and the scale will come out just fine. You are doing great, that is awesome you had a loss of two pounds. You have come out of the dry spell, good for you! :cool1:

Afraid that didnt last Kim!!! bought 2 tankinis, 1 pair of shorts & a shirt for DH.
THEN yesterday i went to asda (walmart) & spent $100 - 2 pairs of gym trousers, 1 gym jacket, 1 skirt, 1 t-shirt & 1 pair of leggings.
THEN i ordered some clothes from the catologue 4 t-shirts, another pair of leggings & 1 pair of linen trousers AND theres still some more stuff to arrive yet :eek:

Was supposed to meet trainer at gym tomorrow to discuss my programme, but now i've got to stay at work :(
We have 'ofstead' coming in next week (school inspectors)
Training on Friday
I'm doing a narrative project 2 afternoons a week & allotment the rest of the week during afternoons, on top of normal TA duties!
Wheres the tired out smilie!!!

At least i managed to get back on track with my food after the weekend!
