Cleaner and/or toddler friendly bathrooms?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!! My husband ended up using the companion bathrooms which worked out great since they’re roomy. He noted that there were a several companion bathrooms without changing tables though, which I found a little surprising. I was with our four month old so I was off toddler pee pee duty, but he did great with potty training in the parks!

Companion bathrooms are not intended for most families, they are intended for people who require assistance who cannot go into the regular bathrooms due to the makeup of their party. I remember my mom sharing years ago about a time when she was waiting in line in a ladies restroom behind a husband pushing his wife’s wheelchair as she required assistance in the restroom. They handled it beautifully but I’m thankful for their sake there are now companion restrooms.

In comparison, there are very few companion restrooms at Disney so I hope people leave them for those who need them.

Mom or dad can easily change their baby in a regular restroom which is where the changing tables are located.

I agree, companion bathrooms are a great addition to the parks. I will add that it's not just infants and toddlers who use changing tables, as there are instances where older children and adults may need them as well, so after hearing my husband mention this I sort of wish Disney included a note if the companion restroom included a changing table or not (obviously those infant sized ones are not safe for larger children or adults, but those larger table-sized ones are). Using a companion restroom goes beyond party composition and we can't exactly know why anyone is using the companion restroom (and I'm certainly not checking!). I hope for my sake we can graduate from the companion restroom by our next trip, because that means potty training was a success!
