I just really felt I had to share this...
My 5 yo DD and I went to WDW in June for four days. We got a fabulous airfare of $99 RT from Minneapolis to Orlando--keep in mind that anything under $200 is a good deal out of Orlando. I was already thrilled with their flight times as we got in at 11:30 in the morning and didn't leave until 8pm on our departure day. The flight down was very nice, pleasant service, on time departure, decent breakfast, the whole deal.
When we got to the airport to come back home, I noticed that the departures board listed our flight as delayed. The guy at the ticket counter told me straight out that they honestly didn't know when the flight would be leaving as it was stuck in Milwaukee. I appreciated the honesty as I have been strung along by other airlines and that is a real pain. Eventually dthye did have to cancel the flight and put us up in the Hyatt there in the airport, gave us vouchers for dinner and breakfast and were as helpful as possible in a difficult situation. Some of the ohter passengers were really ticked off, but I thought they did the best they could with circumstances beyond their control.
they borrowed a plane the next day and got us home safely if late.
Today I got a letter in the mail with an apology for any inconvenience and two vouchers for $100 each! We only paid $99! Yee ha! DH and I are now going back next spring to get one more use out of our annual passes and airfare should be pretty dang cheap with those vouchers.
Nice to see good customer service these days!

People are so quick to complain, but for some reason, the complements just don't come as often.
