Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

I don't remember doing the Horseshoe Saloon -- was it in Frontierland?

Yes it was in Frontierland, down from the Tavern Inn. Now they have had a Woody and friends meet there or occasionally they will serve a family style meal if they need an additional TS during free dinning or extra crowded days. You ordered your drinks and snacks at the bar area. They put on a wild west saloon type show with can can and all. The show lasted about 15 or 20 mins.

Oh Shocker that Duck boy site was the funniest thing that I've seen in a long time!:lmao:

Wow, another Lost fan! I've not missed an episode since the show has been on. Now I'm getting all excited now that the finish is near!

I love special deliveries being made even if it is to someone else. ;)

I am so excited!!! :yay: I will think about what the sign might say while I am administering the CRCT tomorrow -- it will help break up the monotony of testing. ;)

Oh, I am just tickled about this package that MeMom received this weekend, and I don't even know what's in it! :goodvibes

:cool2:Glad I could be of service in this important mission:cool2:
You only need to wait a few more weeks.

I think you might be very surprised how his life turned out.....

I remember back in the late 70's early 80's my mom had to eat there and you needed to wait for in line for a reservation. I was allowed to ride Haunted Mansion while she waited. I must have been on that ride by myself anywhere beween 5- 10 times. I had to be 13 or 14 but I got some strange looks being all by myself riding over and over again. We had a meal brought to the table while the show was going on. Kind of like Hoop de Doo I guess.
I remember it being a cute show with can can girls.:confused3

Do you ever find yourself saying, "Is that an answer? What's it an answer to?" I second guess myself a lot while watching the show.
Have you been watching Lost? I am already counting the days until the next episode again!

Wow, another Lost fan! I've not missed an episode since the show has been on. Now I'm getting all excited now that the finish is near!

I liked having the popups "verify" what I was thinking. There is no way I remember who passed who in the airport in episode 1. Even with Libby was like "That's Libby right? It has been a while since we have "seen" her.:lmao: I was 99% sure but yet with Lost anything is possible:laughing:

Ooooo....LOST fans!!!! My DH and I just caught up last night. We had about 3 episodes DVR'd, but didn't have time to watch them. We finally watched 2 on Sat night and the most recent one last night. I didn't recognize Libby at first either!!!

Sorry to hijack!!!

I remember this show. I believe we saw it on our first trip in 1999. We enjoyed it.

That picture is just precious! How cool to see a picture of you with Mickey as a kid (even with Duckboy!) You need to frame that next to a picture of your two kids posing with Mickey!

I DVR Lost and the first 5 min blew me away. I wish I had pop ups.

CP:

I finally went back and saw your retro Mickey picture. You were so stinkin cute. I LOVE that picture. I didn't see Mickey mouse for the first time until I was a teenager. How I wish I had a cute red outfit like that!!!!!

Hi CP!
Don't know if you remember me? I followed your trip and PTR last year. You wee such an invaluable resource. I'm excited to see how you trip to HH tuns out this year. What a lovely trip! I'm sorry about all of the cutbacks on pay and coaching. When will we learn how much our teachers deserve to be paid? Anyway, count me in as a follower. I took a little break fom the boards there for awhile right aroun my son's birth and haven't been back until this week. We will be going NEXT May? And I'm already counting down.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: What an interesting life he made for himself that duckboy!!

Tracy

That's one way to put it, Tracy!

Cute! I wish I had been able to see it! It sounds like fun!

Yes, I am a big Lost fan although I did miss some episodes last year -- I can't believe we are only a few episodes away from the end.

I would love to be able to ride Haunted Mansion all by myself as many times as I want.

I also liked how the popups reminded me of things I might have forgotten about. I did recognize Libby almost immediately, but I think I was almost half-expecting her to show up again after the Desmond episode.

I don't consider Lost comments as hijacking. :lmao: I can't wait to see how it all comes together!

It sounds really fun!

Thank you! :goodvibes I actually thought about framing it, but I don't know if I can really look at Duckboy on a daily basis! :rotfl2:

I DVR Lost and the first 5 min blew me away. I wish I had pop ups.

I felt like that several times during the episode. This was me for most of the hour:

Even Charles, who hasn't watched it since the first season, got caught up in it. At one point, this was the conversation:

Me: You know that's not John Locke. That's just John Locke's dead body with the smoke monster in it.
Charles: I see. How did he die?
Me: Ben Linus shot him.
Charles: Who's Ben Linus?
Me: Never mind. You're hopeless.

There was no way I was going to be able to catch Charles up on five seasons during a five-minute commercial break.

Thank you, Mary Ellen! I really like that I have a copy of it now. :goodvibes

Of course, I remember you! How are you? How's your darling baby boy? I am always counting down -- since our next big family trip to WDW will probably be December 2011, I am already counting down to that.

We are so good. He is almost 7 months now. Getting big. I'm trying to talk my mom into going to Disney at Hilton Head. She thinks I am crazy. Totally not a Disney person. But I want to show her your TR when you come back. You'll still do one, right?

Oh, yes, I will be doing a trip report when I get back -- I won't be able to help myself.

I was  myself. I have to give it my full attention. If anybody wants anything I have to either pause or they just have to wait. because sometimes pausing takes away from the effect.

I would love to be able to ride Haunted Mansion all by myself as many times as I want.

I remember feeling special because it was the first time I could really go on any ride by myself. We were there in Oct. back when when it was real slow and no lines.

Miss Jackie you are either very busy or you are not very excited about going to Hilton Head.....where are plans for this trip??? popcorn:: popcorn::

I have been lurking and haven't posted-- I LOVE the old DL pictures you posted awhile back!

I'm anxious to see the goodies from Wigd!! I love seeing pics of goodie packages especially when they are from Disney:)

Photoshop him! ;) You can rewrite history and make it like he never happened! :lmao: :rotfl:

We have a rule at our house that no one says ANYTHING during the actual show. Any questions or comments have to wait for commercial breaks.

You know, I was thinking, and I don't believe I have ever ridden a ride at Disney all by myself. There is always at least one other family member with me.

Very busy -- I have lots of plans swirling around in my head, but I just haven't had a chance to put them all down on paper. This week was our state testing (CRCT), and I was exhausted every single day. I know I was asleep by ten most nights and some nights I was asleep by nine. Hopefully, now that school is in the homestretch, I can focus on planning and posting those plans. I have lots of them! :thumbsup2

I have been lurking and haven't posted-- I LOVE the old DL pictures you posted awhile back!

Thank you!!! I am glad you are enjoying it -- post more, if you want! I love hearing from my readers! :goodvibes

I took pictures, but haven't uploaded them yet. It was a crazy week with state testing. I was so drained every night, that I just collapsed by early evening. I am hoping to update this weekend, but we are supposed to have supercell thunderstorms today (which I have such a phobia about), and tomorrow, we are planning to go see Oceans.

Hey Jackie good luck with the storms. Hopefully they will not be that bad. We had thunder & lightening a few nights ago but nothing bad. I am sure down there with the warmer weather they can get intense.

Oh I want to see Oceans too!! But this is our last weekend before our trip so we will not get to see it yet. Heck I have not even see Earth yet.:) It is in my Netflix que but I think a certain husband of mine keeps moving it down the que.

I totally get the exhaustion at night. I am on the computer ALL day at work so sometimes at night I do not go near mine. Have a great weekend.
