We're headed to Disney in a couple of months and I haven't even begun to look at all my restaraunt options yet. I was just wondering if people would post their TOP 5 and what type of food is. I know everyone will have different opions, but likely the really great restaurants will be repeated.

The rules are that it has to be under $100 for two people and that includes a beer or two or a house glass of wine. I'm a seafood freak myself, so we definitley want to hit a seafood restaraunt at least once. Oh, and the meal is Dinner.

Post away,

tRG

My family's top restaurants are:

BOMAs
LeCellier
Chefs de France
Concourse Steakhouse
Grand Floridian Cafe

We are hoping to try Artist Point on our next trip.

Be sure to check out Deb Wills site that lists the menus and the prices to give yourself a good idea of what's available. Good luck!!!

Kona Cafe (Polynesian)
'Ohana (Polynesian)
Liberty Tree Tavern (colonial/traditional American)

Those are just my top 3 :)

1. BOMA
2. California Grill
3. Jiko
4. Hollywood Brown Derby
5. Artist Point

I will keep V&A off the list, but it is by far the top fine dining.

Our favorites to eat in on a normal dining trip:

1: JIKO
2: Narcoosee
3: Artist Point
4: Chefs de France
5: Casey's Corner - have to ahave one cheap eats

:smooth:

I have to say that one of our personal favorites is actually Epcot's San Angel Inn (Mexican). Followed with a close second of Ohana's.

1. Chefs de France
2. LeCellier
3. California Grill
4. Marrakesh
5. Cinderella's Castle

Flying Fish (Boardwalk) dinner
California Grill (Contemporary) dinner
Spoodles (Boardwalk) dinner
Restaurant Marrakesh (Morrocco @ Epcot) lunch
50's Primetime (MGM) lunch

IMHO

In random order:

Chefs de France
California Grill
Fulton's Crabhouse
Liberty Tree Tavern
Alfredo's

My top five are:

Prime Time 50's Cafe
Resturant Akershus
Garden Grille
Crystal Palace
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe(Just because of the sheer variety they offer)

Shula's
Ohanas
Brown Derby
Le Cellier
ESPN

Mitch, of course I knew you'd have Shulas on there...:p , haven't been yet though...

My top five are:

California Grill (in a league of its own...my favorite)
Artist Point
Le Cellier
Wolfgang Puck Cafe (excellent sushi)
Brown Derby (the best cobb I've ever had)

Runners up:
Citricos (excellent meal, really this place is tied for fourth w/ WPC and HBD!!!)
Jiko (unique food, great atmosphere)
Plaza Restaurant (great sandwiches)
Beaches and Cream (for ice cream)

Grand Floridian Cafe
Concourse Steakhouse
Boatwrights
Alfredo's
Sci-Fi Dine In

And my favorite 'chain' place is House of Blues:p

California Grill
Fultons
Cape May Cafe
Flying Fish
Cap'n Jacks

These are all my favs that include seafood - CG and FF can be a little pricier. Cape May and Cap'n jacks are more middle of the range and Fultons is just to die for, for seafood IMHO ;)

LeCellier
Calif Grill
Ohanas
Garden Grille
Brown Derby

Our favorites:

1. Narcoosees (GF)
2. OHana (Poly)
3. Citricos (GF)
4. Coral Reef (Epcot)
5. 1900 Park Faire (GF)

Looking at this list I guess you can tell we are big fans of the GF!!

Too many times to count before that!
GF - 11/00
POR - 10/03

Hoping everyone has a "magical" day!

1. California Grill
2. House of Blues (LOVE the Jamalaya!)
3. Rose & Crown
4. Tempura Kiku
5. Boma

#s 3, 4 & 5 are not necessarily in order of preference. They are each in a class alone, totally different but equally wonderful.

Have fun choosing!

California Grill....wonderful
Narcoossee's....great seafood
Citricos
Artist Point
Kona Cafe...yummy mahi mahi

We're monorail resort fans so I guess are choices are skewed that way. Flying Fish gets very good reviews so we'll have to get over there!

BTW, Grand Floridian Cafe is not open for dinner these days. It's great for lunch or breakfast though.

V&A is the best but won't meet your criteria!

1. Artist's Point (our favorite)-amazing cedar plank salmon (excellent service)
2. O'Hana-excellent food (service varies though)
3. Teppanyakki in Japan in EPCOT
4. Gulliver's (at the Swan)
5. Garden Grille at the Land in EPCOT

I would say...
Ohana's
California Grille
Captain Jacks
Rainforest Cafe (I know, a lot of people will disagree but we love every item we have had there)
Kona Cafe (can you tell we have stayed at the Poly?)

Have a wonderful vacation
:p
