Erikarate, or anyone, could you describe Citricos? And do you think Jikos is worth the extra price vs. Boma, and why? I was going to ask what is Shulas, but glory be, the search function was up and I was able to read about it!

DH seconds your emotion on that Cobb salad :)

We never ate at AP, but we took the WL tour, saw the lovely restaurant, and tried their amazing cedar-planked salmon. I'm so excited we have all these places to try on our next trip!

I know this isn't a dinner, but one place we are definitely going back to is the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. I hope the second time is as amazing as the first was!

Cheers :)

Here's our top "5":

Artist Point
Citrico's
California Grill
House of Blues
Chefs de France (lunch)

Favorite 5, in no particular order:

Crystal Palace (MK)
Cape May (Beachclub)
O'Hana (Poly)
Whispering Canyon (WL)
Akkershus (Epcot)

Can't wait to eat at these places. We go in 17 more days!!!

In no order:

California Grill
Shula's
Boma
Beaches N' Cream (shakes are amazing! hamburgers are bliss!)
Donald's Breakfastasaurus

(Sunrise Safari breakfast was probably my favorite, but because it's not open to everyone I left it off the main list-- if you get the opportunity, it's a MUST!!)

Not nec. in this order:

Jiko
Boma
Le Cellier
Bistro de Paris
California Grill

I think Boma is the best value. It is a buffet - but probably unlike any buffet you've ever had. Jiko is in the AKL as well but a bit more refined than Boma - and delectable. The AKL by the way is gorgeous and worth a visit regardless of whether you dine there or not. Bistro is a bit expensive but you can still dine there for 100 if you don't order a bottle of wine or lots of courses - and it's delicious if you like French. Le Cellier has lovely steaks and a romantic atmosphere. California Grill is delightful - creative menu - continental I suppose is how you'd classify it - and the views are outstanding. Wow, only five huh . . . seems like I could go on and on.

Ohana in the Polynesian

Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge

50's Primetime Cafe in MGM

Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge

Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom

I may be mistaking but I think that there is no sale of alcohol in the Magic Kingdom. So if you drink beer or wine with your meals, you may not want to go to Liberty Tree Tavern. But all the others we enjoy do sell alcohol.

Here are my Top 5:

Narcoossee's
Le Cellier
50's Prime Time Cafe (not fancy, but really good!)
Cape May Cafe Clam Bake (in our opinion, the best value on property)
Fulton's

Here are my family's favorites:

Cape May Clambake
Concourse Steakhoue
Olivia's Cafe
Chek Mickey's
Beaches and Cream

Enjoy!!!

I posted this thinking that I would get only a few replies, but I've gotten over 50. You guys are amazing.

So far, I'm thinking California Grille, Boma, and Shula's are a must.

I still have some whittling down to do on the other one's and a lot more money to save.

We're headed to Disney in a couple of months and I haven't even begun to look at all my restaraunt options yet. I was just wondering if people would post their TOP 5 and what type of food is. I know everyone will have different opions, but likely the really great restaurants will be repeated.

The rules are that it has to be under $100 for two people and that includes a beer or two or a house glass of wine. I'm a seafood freak myself, so we definitley want to hit a seafood restaraunt at least once. Oh, and the meal is Dinner.

Post away,

I agree with the poster who wrote that V&A's should be on the list .. but since it doesn't fit w/n your budget, I won't include it either. My top 5 are, in order:

5. Flying Fish
4. Bistro de Paris
3. Citricos
2. Jiko
*1* California Grill

Our family's favorites:

Yachtman's Steak House (Yacht Club)
Chefs de France (World Showcase)
1900 Park Faire (Grant Floridian)
'50's Primetime (MGM - no alcohol)
Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)
