Too many Character Meals???

I'm trying to find the happy medium between planning and over-planning. I have scheduled a park a day, and have 3 Character Meals already reserved. (Cinderella's Once Upon A Breakfast (DD3 is going to FLIP! ), Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot , and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.) We also have a PS for Prime Time Cafe' in MGM for dinner one night. So, the only park I haven't made a PS for is AK. Should I? Is Donald's Breakfastasaurus all that good? If I book too many, do they loose their thrill and excitement? Or is it best to have at least one meal a day planned out?

We'll be there June 5-10. Pop Century here we come!

Personally, I think 3 character meals in a trip is plenty--you'll burn yourself out! We do one or two a year, and they remain "special". (Not to mention that you get sick of buffet food after a while).

We usually do around 2-3 character meals for a week long trip. We really like them (even before we had kids) and there are several good ones to pick from.

I like to have one PS planned per day just so I am sure we will be able to get into a sit-down of our choice each day. I just can't live on counter service for 3 meals a day for a week. It is nice knowing that we have at least one "nice" meal each day.

We will be at WdW for 9 days in Oct & we have 5 character meals planned.

(Chef Mickeys dinner on our first night, Crystal Palace breakfast, PSB,
LTT dinner before MNSSHP, & 1900 cinderella dinner on our last evening.)

Maybe too much??? I don't know...I like character meals because you can't do that anywhere else..you can eat a nice restaurant anywhere else. If you change your mind when you get there you can always cancel beforehand. I think its better to have more ps planned (character or not) & just cancel what you don't want to do..although I have never cancelled anything before because we just get a kick out of the character meals.
