Tonight there is a sing along

I loved it. My 16 year old daughter and I sang every word. My daughter wants to know when the sequel will be on.

Watched this with my 12 year old son who I figured would turn his nose up to it. He loved it, kept running in his room to get props and sing and dance along.

Awww...this was loads of fun. Watched it with DD18 who was on a video call with her friend. Fun to watch the two teen girls enjoy themselves watching the show. They are both gaga about High School Musical and went batty during that scene :)

I don't follow current music so I was surprised how much I enjoyed Ariana Grande's take on I Won't Say I'm in Love. (And finally realized just how much I like that song!)

And Luke Evans was a hoot as Gaston!

I liked most of it, some of it meh. It appears some are not great singers outside of a studio and/or technical support of some kind. JMO.

I have to admit that I googled who sang 'when you wish upon a star', it was not on a text line below the singer.
Apparently I do not know what Beyonce looks like, but not a fan so not surprising. LOL. 😄

Overall, fun.

She was apparently a surprise addition, and I think that clip was pre-produced, so it didn't have the words (like any of us need them?) or being identified pre-song.

I usually hate these Disney tv things, but this I actually enjoyed. Maybe it's the emotional roller coaster that is life right now that made me appreciate it for what it was, I don't know. I think Derek Hough's video had the best production value, but Donny Osmond's grandkids were adorable. And of COURSE John Stamos has a Dumbo ride vehicle in his house!! I'd love to see what else he has. The ending made me

Just think, one day this special will be a part of some Disney "Treasures" collection as an historical marker of this time period, like all of Disney's WWII propaganda films.

I just figured none of us were allowed to sing with her.
