Holy Cow! I made it to Round 3!!!! I had to reread the email, because last year the no email was so confusing! The subject title was "Wow! That's What We Said!"

I really hope you guys who haven't made it feel like you've done something wrong! There are always so many amazing candidates, I can't even begin to imagine how impossible the decision was for Laura and the team.

Anna - Thanks for checking in on us! It has been fun to follow everyone on the board.

I am happy to say that I received some good news that I will be moving on to the final round, but at the same time I am so sorry to everyone not getting the email they had hoped to receive this evening. I have been there 5 times before myself, and there is no other way about it - it just hurts.

Wow!! Remember to post often. We want to hear what the next round is like!!

I was also a "no".

I'm truly amazed that some of you didn't advance, especially after seeing your answers and videos. I wish it was clearer what exactly they are looking for but I guess then the decisions would be even more difficult. If only it was like a test and you could get your paper back showing the answers that were incorrect.

You are all wonderful people and I hope to have the strength to do this again with you next year!

Thank you all so much! I am still just so shocked that I DID make it!

But, I really really can't believe that many of our Dis'ers who I thought were shoe-in's didn't move on. And again, I so appreciate the support you all gave each other throughout the waiting process. I don't know what I would have done without my Dis buddies!!!!

1. Hope: This uplifting subject line sounds good!
2. Anger: Why did they trick me with that uplifting subject line?! What meanies!
3. Denial: I'll bet an email will be coming any minute saying it was all a mistake and they're going to let me skip R3 and jump right onto the panel
4. Sadness: Whhhhyyyy don't they want meeee
5. Pettiness: Well, if Disney doesn't want me I'll just cancel all my upcoming trips! Take that Disney!
6. Amnesia: Gotta go on that trip so I'm eligible next year! 20-whatever here I come! There's no stopping me this year! Wahoo!

I'm thinking the same thing!!! I know my essays were good, but my video was sort of silly. I thought about telling the story of taking my step-dad to Disney for the last time before he died of ALS. But I really wanted to show the judges my true self... silly, upbeat, and smiling! I believe that's what Disney is all about. Being able to put aside your worries and your sadness and be able to immerse yourself in the magic. Now of course I second guess myself, that I should have gone for the sob story and tried to pull the judges heartstrings.

I did the sob story in two of my essays! (not on purpose, it's just a huge part of my life) and, it didn't work. And, I have had cancer, a stroke, heart surgery ... clearly tragedy is not what they are looking for!

Next year I am going to be a comedian. I start my apprenticeship with Dane Cook next week.

I think I'm going to Barns And Noble tomorrow to invest in Rosetta Stone. What language do you think they will tackle next? French? Italian? Maybe I could learn both... And sign language too. I can speak in another language while signing!

tiggsntx posted her video on the R2 page. I just went back a few minutes ago to see if I could find anyone who made it on there. She was the only one I recognized as one who made it.
