Good morning! We are safe, warm, have power, and are surrounded by snow! However, it's not nearly as bad as they projected at our house. Right now we have maybe 1 1/2" on the ground, but none on our driveway or road so we can get out! Other areas of our county have been hit hard though, so our children are celebrating no school today.

We may still get more as Sandy's moisture wraps around our way, but I'm happy not to be completely stuck.
Love the questions from yesterday!
1. Other than WDW, what interests/hobbies do you have?
I love to read, volunteer at my kids' school, work with teenagers at church, and I eat lunch and worship with the homeless on Wednesdays sharing conversation that so many of them desire.
2. How old were you the first time you went on a Disney Vacation?
My guess is around age 5. That's when the Magic Kingdom was the only park! We stayed at the Polynesian.
3. How many vacations have you planned other than your own?
Most complete trips have been for extended family, but I share tips and advice regularly to many friends and anyone who asks!
4. If you went to college, what was your major, and what do you do now?
I have a few degrees because my interests are wide and I like change!
My first degree is in Elementary Education with a minor in math - though my first job was teaching reading! I've taught school several times as a first & second grade teacher, reading specialist, and a position that worked with the homeless children in the district. My second degree is in Criminal Justice. I worked as a Private Investigator for several years before getting married. My Master's is in Christian Education. I currently work full-time as the Director of Christian Education for a United Methodist Church.
5. If you could go back to school, what would you want to do?
I enjoy going to school and would go back just for the learning experience! If I had to choose though, I would probably pursue Special Education. My last few years teaching, I was an inclusion teacher which meant I had students with special needs, including autism, in my regular classroom. I would love to specialize in working with those students and their families.
6. What is one thing you have on your "bucket" list?
I have just 6 states to visit before I've been to all 50 states: New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Wisconsin, Oregon, and Hawaii. I'd love to visit them all!
