We noticed a lot more of them too! So fun! DH used to comment on the TV ads that show a kid walking along holding hands with a character and say "that never happens". But, this time we actually saw Chip walking along holding a kid's hand!

It was a nice surprise since it isn’t often you see that at MK. I forgot to mention I saw Donald and Goofy roaming the lobby of Riviera when I was enjoying my coffee, how did I forget that. It always makes me so happy!

Sadly we saw more of this on our trip too. There were still many that smiled and said hello but definitely others just looking miserable.

I’m just really use to bubbly, magical, happy CMs so it does surprise me how many are disengaged. I did talk with many nice ones as well!

Looks yummy! We had the salmon for the first time and it was very good!

The salmon was in the running with my chicken strips. We have salmon a fair amount at home so I went with something I rarely have!

Oh I need to try this! It's now on the list for next time...

This iced coffee is life changing, haha honestly it is so good!

Curious... was the soda part of the kids breakfast price, or an add on? I'd kinda hate to think that Disney (or anywhere) is encouraging kids to drink sodas... especially first thing. For an adult? Sure... do whatever.

Yes, it is an alternative choice so you have to click an extra button on the mobile order. I am happy they have for adults who like the kids meal and a Diet Coke

And until you mentioned it... I'm surprised! It wasn't that long ago that I read an article how roaming characters were removed due to mobbing... and now they're back. Hopefully they'll stick around for a while.

They only do it in the first hour or so in the morning to prevent a mob! I loved it!

Really! I'm very surprised by that.
People will stop paying and just take their chances. That will hit Disney in the pocket book and since nothing matters to Disney more than money...

I love your trip reports and I am happy you go quite often. The trip reports keep me from going crazy in between my trips. lol

I’m with you Ilove reading reports and watching videos in between trips!

It is really bad! I was surprised how much I enjoyed the tea in the room when I didn’t have a coffee.

This is the BEST pick at RD if you've missed the 1st half hour for sure.

It really is and when it is still a walk on I love it!

It is weird. Customer service is a historical trademark of Disney and it's sad to see it too disappearing.

I think the guest experience was what lured and hooked me on Disney! It is sad to see such inconsistencies now with it!

But you got a scrumptious coffee which isn't a bad alternative.

Very true and it was absolutely delicious and the Riviera setting is a great place to enjoy this!

You and I had opposite first days I think. As a solo - you seem to go, go, go. I think you got more rides in before 3pm in MK than I did in TOTAL during my trip. What a great morning though.

Haha The park was a low crowd level and it really allowed me to do so much plus the FP$$ also helped! I wasn’t totally sold on the solo experience but this trip really sealed it!

It was such a great first full day of my trip at MK. I wasn’t totally sold shocked how low the crowds were that day!

It really add to what Disney is all about and I am glad they are doing some more things like that, now to have consistent good CM service, let’s get back to that!

Haha Now that would be a game changer for me, no bus riding while the moms are all changing diapers, ugh Lyft only for me if that was the case! Thank goodness it is just charging the devices!

I love wearing Birkenstocks I have way to many pairs, haha I never go barefoot so I have my inside ones and outside ones!

Hello I forgot to mention I saw roaming characters at Riviera while I sipped on my cold brew. Donald and Goody were cruising the lobby!

When I left off, I was heading to my room. The walk from the Skyliner was a pretty short walk. I would guess only about 5 minutes to Trinidad Buildings 34. My room was facing a little courtyard with colorful umbrellas and a seating area. I was on the 2nd floor which is the top floor here at CBR.

My room #3450.

I opened the door and loved the beachy feel. I believe these rooms use to be the pirate rooms. The rooms are now renovated to a Little Mermaid vibe and a very Caribbean style. Soft light blues and greens with the “fake” wood floors. I loved it

Here is my comfy bed and the couch area is the Murphy bed. I never did pull it down during my trip.


Here is the 5th sleeper wall bed. I did pull this down to peek at it and put it back.

Bathroom sink area. I love the bathroom tile!

The room was very clean and inviting. The only negative was it felt hot in there. I did the “hack” to lower the thermostat to 65 degrees. I also made sure the ceiling fan was on. CBR does have ceiling fans in the rooms. Not all Disney resort rooms have ceiling fans.

The little air conditioner in the room was working hard my whole trip! My room did cool down and actually was too cold at times!

I had a little rest and headed out for my evening in Epcot!

I took the Skyliner. I loved having the close access to the Skyliner!

I had FP$$ for SE, LWTL, and Soarin.

Highlights: Skyliner, the rides, F&G topiaries, SR on Remy, photo pass pictures, slowly walking around all the exhibits, flower pots with all the emotions from Inside Out 2, and my take home dinner from Le Halles.




I ordered the Dinde BLT: turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli. This was on delicious brioche square bread or ciabatta? I also brought home a crème brûlée and napoleon (puff pastry layers and cream). I brought it all back to my room and what a love affair I started with this place! Everything was delicious. The sandwich was really good! Such a simple sandwich but wow even after a trip back from Epcot. I totally failed on getting pictures. I had a few bites of the desserts and put these into the fridge.

Lowlights: hard to find anything, I had a great evening.

I watched a little true crime tv before going to bed! My room was super quiet and the bed was very comfortable!

Are all the CBR rooms decorated the same way?

The rooms at Riverside have ceiling fans.

I don't recognize very many of your pictures. But it is a fun game.
