I guess it's a typical fall day but I like a little more sun! I was covering the ac and just about blew away! My bushes along the side of the yard are gone so hopefully the leaves go down several houses! I guess that's not nice to say but....I took a plant off the porch because I figured it would blow down anyway.
We have a new Best Buy on town to visit this weekend...maybe I'll go ahead and get my Wii. Why wait until Christmas? They may not have any...I'm also eating at my fav place in Bird-In-Hand.

Keep those twins in line Kitty! Hope you had a great visit. I have 2 sizes I scrap in---12x12 and 8x8. It depends on what it is. I like the smaller one because not as many pics but then I have a hard time deciding what not to use. I've made an ABC in that size that I liked. I also made a bday one for my 88 yr old friend when her daughter and I took our moms to the shore in Dec. I really have more supplies than finished scrapbooks! I get Disney ones at Michaels and AC Moore with 50 % off coupons.

Everyone keep healthy over the weekend!

I miss Walter updates!

Good afternoon!

Didn't have to work again today. I guess all the staff at school have been healthy and have had no meetings to go to. I might get called for a couple days next week. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Went for a nice walk/jog this morning. I walked a lap, then jogged, walked then jogged for about a half an hour. Man does that hurt! I'm suppose to be doing lots and lots of chores to have my house ready for tomorrow night when company comes for cake and ice cream. My Nana is making a Whoopie Pie Cake and I bought some vanilla ice cream to have with it. I am so looking forward to some yummy cake! I know, I know, it's for my Mom but sharing is always nice.

The sun has been in and out today. It's about 49 degrees here right now and I don't expect it to get any warmer. The weather man said that tomorrow we could get anywhere from an inch to 3 inches of rain. YUCK! I guess it needs to rain sometime but why so much?:confused3

Magikitty, You are such a good Auntie! You are also very sneaky about the wining and dining them. Sounds like a good plan.

M&N, Have a good visit with your mom. Make sure you both stay warm and have a good dinner.

marie, I'm actually feeling a little better today. The cough always seems to get worse at night so I'll have to wait and see how I feel later.

I use to be pretty crafty but as I've gotten older I have lost all patience for it. My Mom is the really crafty one and she made my DS12 a beautiful scrapbook of our Dec 2008 trip to WDW. She is now working on one for DS8.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Hi, LITC! How's the baby?

HI SCHBR.. Walter is doing great thanks, how about you and your family?

I was going to wait until this afternoon when I had more time but I am gonna respond just so you don't have to panic, LITC! Some of us are still out here! How are you and that sweet baby today? Hope you got in a little rest last night.

Hey Marie, I appreciate that you stopped in so that I could stop panicking! Baby Walter is good, we are trying yet another new formula, and I am afraid to jinx myself but I think it might be helping!!

Hello. I had a lazy day here. All the packing, cleaning and moving is finally catching up with me. My husband and I decided to take the night off and we took our little girls to the playground for a couple of hours. They had a great time and I think we all needed the time off.

LITC, sorry I missed you earlier. How are you doing? How's Walter?

Magikitty, thanks for that link. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Marie, wow, congrats on all the rewards that you have saved up. I used to do MyPoints but have stopped for a little while. I think I'll have to get back into it.

JOCA -- Good for you for taking a little time off. I think you need that when moving. And Walter is great thanks for asking!

Good morning everyone!

LITC, What a cutie Walter is. It's amazing how fast they grow! I can't believe that mine are 12 and 8 now. It seems like it was just yesterday that they were babies.
Thanks so much Pikester, I think Walter is super adorable also! I don't know how I got so lucky! :thumbsup2

I forget who asked about smilies. There are my 2 favorite bookmarked sites:

http://bestsmileys.com/pageindex.htm

http://www.emotihost.com/ver1/pageindex.htm

M&N, that was me, thanks so much for the links! Welcome "home". And a super big congrats on the weight loss. I myself only have 8 to go to be back at pre-pregnancy weight. Wonder if I'll ever lose 'em? :rotfl::confused3

Hello all! I've not gotten any notifications since the 17th, and meant to check yesterday when I realized it but I got sidetracked. So I had alot of reading to do.

Welcome back M&N. Glad you lost a pound, just don't send any more to me!!

MK and LITC, LOVE the pix! You both have some good looking men!

Marie, funny you should mention tuna casserole. That's what I'm making tonite at DS's request! Here's my recipe:

2 cans tuna
1 can cream of celery soup
8 ounces cooked noodles (I use the homestyle egg noodles)
1 cup peas
1/4 cup milk
- - - - - - - -
3 T butter, melted
1/3 cup bread crumbs

Mix the noodles with the tuna, soup, milk and peas. Put in casserole dish.

Mix the butter and bread crumbs (add more bread crumbs as needed to adjust texture), and sprinkle over top of tuna mixture.

Bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes.

I'm making a TRIPLE batch, which will give us 6 meals worth. we'll eat one tonite and freeze the other 5. My freezer is about to overflow!

I've had calls from the school about both kids. DS is tanking in Language Arts, needs to get his act together. DD brought in $60 to give to a girl who she thought would only be her friend if she gave her the $ (misunderstanding). On top of that, she STOLE the money from me!!! Can you say grounded?

My BFF made me a giant cupcake for my birthday. It's nearly gone. Guess who has eaten most of it. (Hint--it's the only person in the house over 5 feet tall, over 100 pounds, and over 40 years old...)

Tomorrow I go to NYC for preadmission testing. can't believe knee surgery is only a week away. Not looking forward to it.

Well, hopefully now I'll get notifications so I won't think the TKers have dried up and blown away!

Hi Wendy, that you for both the compliment and for this new recipe, we made the soup last sunday and I already went to the store today to get ingredients for another batch! So yummy.

It was pretty nice here today. I had the windows open this afternoon. I just hate how stuffy the house gets when it's cold out.

My stepsister asked me if I want to go to Disney in 2011 for a girls only trip with her mom. I didn't want to say anything until I talked to my husband. He told me to do whatever I want. So, it looks like I"m heading to Disney. Woohoo!!! LOL They want to stay in a moderate resort but I've only ever stayed in the values. Have any of you stayed in a moderate? Any thoughts on which ones are nicest?

whgrn, that recipe sounds wonderful. I'm going to add that to my list of things to make at our new house. All my kids love tuna so it should be a big hit.

JOCA-- I am super jealous. No trips here in the forseeable future, dont even know how to pay the dr bills from having the baby!! :confused3

I've always been a Phillies fan. Shane Victorino. It's not over...anything can happen! I used to watch hockey and do watch some football. I just cannot get into the Eagles. I haven't watched it enough to learn the players. For me to get into it, I need to learn the players. I guess that's why I like NASCAR. I watch the shows before the race and learned about the drivers. I need to have some to cheer for and some to boo! I used to boo Jeff Gordon but he's moved to the cheer side!
Got out of the 8th...will have to watch the celebration (I hope) at the end! I hope they do not have to play the Yankees.

M&N, I'm shocked you root for Gordon??? Yuck!

Good morning! Can't really tell what kind of day its going to be...its still fairly dark out. Ah, the days are getting longer. Its supposed to be gorgeous today. I hope so. I'd like to have the windows open this afternoon.

Pikester, what are you doing to your glassware that you're running out? Strangely enough, the absolute best glasses I have are from the dollar store. They're the big heavy restaurant quality glasses that are indestructible! We don't have a Kmart around here...but I love any reason to go to Target and Walmart!

Ah, Phillies fans I see. While not a huge baseball fan myself, of course I'm rooting for the Yankees to win tonight and to meet your Phillies in the World Series!

I haven't stayed at a moderate. I did stay at the Polynesian once, long ago. Didn't realize it was a deluxe at the time (I was in college and my friend's family took me). New hotel experiences are fun though! Congrats on the trip!

This may be blasphemy, but all the changes and price hikes lately at Disney are just depressing. Parking changed to $14/day when I was there. And not the photopass CD can only be purchased by resort guests. While I do enjoy staying onsite, I wasn't planning on doing it next trip. Now I don't think I'll visit Disney on our next trip at all. I understand that there are increasing costs across the board for everyone, including Disney, but visiting the happiest place on earth is costing more and more everyday...

Kitty- I am so with you on the prices. All the increases have been leaving a very bad taste in my mouth for some time now. And like you said, it is almos impossible to find a photopass photog in the parks. I would write more about that but Walter is waking up and not happy.

Happy birthday Sukie!!

Sorry but whomever mentioned staying in a moderate. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and it was awesome. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Ugly, rainy, cold day here. :sad2: Been raining since yesterday. Probably got about 2+ inches in all. The school I work at was supposed to go to the pumpkin farm today (Kindergarten - grade 2) but the weather was so bad I had to cancel and reschedule. :sad1: What a bummer for those little ones. We'll try again in a week.
My boys seem to be better today. :cool1: I hope we're done w/ sickness for a while.

We're going to be carving pumpkins this weekend and going to a Halloween party at the zoo. Should be fun if the weather gets better.

Does anyone watch The Office or Modern Family???? My DH and I have tried watching both shows cuz everyone is always talking about how funny they are. We just couldn't laugh. Not funny!!! I really wanted to laugh, but, I don't know, maybe its the writing, but it just wasn't funny to me. Give me a good Naked Gun, Christmas Vacation, Airplane humor any day and I'll LMAO. :rotfl2: Maybe I am just getting old.

Hi to everyone!!!!! :wave2: Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

I knew there was a reason why I liked you so much! :thumbsup2

Hello all:

It's been kinda crazy lately so I haven't dropped by...skimmed the posts that I missed. We are also having gray cold weather...yuck!

Ev, Poor Kate does sound like she has a mess in her mouth! How does she take going to the dentist? I am terrified of going myself so I am not a good choice for getting my kids there! I know my DD is gonna be panicked when she goes.
Yesterday I went to the optometrist. She said I had healthy eyes and no significant problems. :thumbsup2 Since I had laser surgery done many years ago I have had trouble with my eyes drying out more often. Also, my reading vision is changing since I am getting OLDER but not so much that I need glasses yet.

Kate is actual great a the dentist...her big brother is such a huge suck so she likes to rub in that she isn't scared of the dentist...I had my eyes lasered as well, definitely need reading glasses now but can't say I've ever had problems with dry eyes.

I've finally made some ADRs for our Dec trip. Except for Chef Mickey, we have never tried these other restaurants. Tried to find ones with menus that appealed to my family. Wow, that's tough! Few places seem to serve "normal" food. We're not much on exotic or fancy food. :crazy2:
Let me know what you think...

Wispering Canyon Cafe @Wilderness Lodge for dinner
Mama Melrose - Dinner
Kona Cafe for Breakfast
Chef Mickey for Breakfast

Make sure you ask to be in the main diningroom at WCC. Breakfasts at Kona & CM were great definitely recommend both!

I finally watched Slumdog Millionaire last night. I really enjoyed it! I guess the depiction of such abject poverty made some uncomfortable, but being witness to similar situations in the Phils, I completely understood it. I actually was holding my breath during the last half hour of it!

Loved it too! Thanks for all the pics from WDW...looks like you and BF had a great time.

Holly ~ Gotta love karma!

LITC ~ Great family shot. I got to hold my friend little one today while we were at school doing pizza...she proceed to empty the entire contents of her stomach down my shirt!!

Well we decided that Washington may not be the best place to go until Kate is a little older...so the latest trip idea is flying to Denver and renting a Motorhome to drive to the Grand Canyon and ending up flying home from Vegas. Since our dollar is so pretty well as par we thought we should take advantage.

Hi everyone. It seems I am the first post of the day. I did a few errands this morning and stopped by the post office. You'll never guess what I got. That's right. :santa: The Christmas stamps are in. I am trying to get my card list together. If possible, I would like to have your addresses. Just PM if you would.

It is getting that time of day to take the cats to the vet. They don't take appointments. The hours are from 3:00-5:00 and I have never taken them both at the same time. Wish me luck.

Chat later.

Evening. The weather was horrible here today. Rain, rain, and more rain.

Sukie, Christmas stamps already?! I'm just trying to finish getting ready for Halloween.

Ev, you were the one who watches Survivor, right? How'd you like this week's episode? I felt really bad for Russell. He seemed like a nice guy.

D&DDisney, I haven't watched any of those shows but I'm with you on the movies. My kids love the Vacation movies, at least the originals. They think they are hilarious. I do too.

Well lets see, I hope the vet went ok for you. Wo doesn't take appointments? That is awful. Sounds like trouble.
And gee whiz already. Christmas lists, sure make the rest of us feel as far behind as we really are! :lmao:

Good morning everyone! Seems like everyone is busy this weekend.
We went to watch the local college football game. Why do we punish ourselves?
BKMETV Camping is fun but expect to get only 8-9 mpg with the motor home.

Happy Sunday Everyone,

Hope the weather has improved. Here we finally have a sunny day with temps around 60. :woohoo: Just need to dry out from the rain now.
I've been looking for some good pumpkin stencils to carve with later. Kids would love some fancy design and all I am capable of is this

.

Ev - I am so excited that you'll be making the leap to camping. Sounds like a good plan. I agree with DL55 - expect to be filling up at the ol gas station quite a bit. Other than that, you'll have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

Sukie - I love your idea of getting address for Christmas cards. :thumbsup2 You need to slow down though, cuz you're making all of us look bad. :rotfl2:

Anyone else want to join our movie marathon???popcorn:: We'll be playing all the Lampoons' Vacation movies. Sign up now!!!!

Evening TKers. Hope all is well with everyone. Here are a few pics we took today. Can you tell Daddy wants to show off his little man?? :lmao:

Love the pics LITC! Baby Walter is so cute.

Had yummy cake and ice cream with Sukie yesterday for her birthday. She even let me keep a couple of slices to have for the next couple of days.

Sukie is such a pain getting all her Christmas shopping done! No Fair!

Today's weather was a big improvement over yesterday. Lots of sunshine and warmer temps. I actually went for a jog after supper. I am so proud of myself, I jogged a mile! :woohoo:

I have been meaning to mention something that my DS8 has been doing for weeks now. He has been bouncing up and down with his hands up in the air singing "It's peanut butter jelly time!" I had never really heard anything about this although I did remember seeing something on Family Guy where the dog Brian is wearing a banana costume and singing "It's peanut butter jelly time!". I just figured it was something that I didn't get being old and all that. Well, Nathan finally showed me a youtube video of a banana doing this "It's peanut butter jelly time!" and there is a whole song that goes with it. I went shopping with Sukie a couple of weekends ago and found a t-shirt at Target with a dancing banana on it and it says "It's peanut butter jelly time!". He loved it!

Hello. I can't believe how fast the Disboards are loading for me. I usually have to sit here forever waiting but not tonight. Man, when they decide to do an upgrade, they really do an upgrade. I hope it stays like this forever.

Our current house is almost empty. It looks so strange in here. And since most of the big furniture is gone, everything echoes is here. It's driving me crazy when the kids get excited about something and start to yell. I need some good earplugs. LOL

DL55, I think you asked when I hope to be taking our girls only trip. We have it narrowed down to mid-September (hoping they continue some type of free dining promotion) and early December for the Christmas festivities. When do you usually go to WDW?

LITC, I love your pictures. Y'all are such a beautiful family. Please continue to post more pictures when you can.

Pikester, you really need to try to convince Sukie to slow down on this Christmas stuff. Either that, or could you convince her to come down here and help me with my shopping?

Morning all:

:surfweb:Boy it's a taking several coffees to get going today...we had to make quick trip to Toronto yesterday (about 3 hour away) to go to a friend's father's memorial. He was an actor (the old father in Witness) as well as an opera singer so there were lots of actors and well as the Canadian Opera Company performing (DH was SO impressed with this part ) Anyways made for a very late night.

Yes Jo I watch Survivor...was a little disappointed that there was no tribal but I think they were really thrown by how bad Russell actually was. Could you imagine the lawsuit if someone died!!

Ev - I am so excited that you'll be making the leap to camping. Sounds like a good plan. I agree with DL55 - expect to be filling up at the ol gas station quite a bit. Other than that, you'll have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

I once hiked for miles through Algonquin Park and camped in tents in the middle of no where...swore never again!! I'm not sure if a hotel room on wheels really counts as camping.;) I just want the motorhome so that I don't have to keep packing and unpacking...DH of course just wants to drive one!!

LITC ~ He's too cute!! Lovely pictures.

Good morning ladies and happy Monday! Its bright and sunny here, but still chilly, but normal weather for this time of year....goodness, where did October go?

Sukie...I just got Christmas stamps also. How was your weekend celebration? I'm totally with you on the holiday card exchange. It seems to be a dying art. I'm up to exchanging addresses with everyone....

LITC...you have such a beautiful family! I see where Walter got his wonderful eyes. Where were those pictures taken? The colors are amazing!

D&D...I am an Office fan! I'm not usually one for 30 minute shows, but I love the Office and the Big Bang Theory. Don't worry about not liking though, BF doesn't like it either. And he knows not to bother me when I'm watching my office! Did you go to the zoo and carve pumpkins?

Please someone explain to me the enjoyment of carving pumpkins. I just don't get it. I am appreciating how some houses decorate for Halloween.

Ev, sounds like you had a tiring day yesterday. Wow, that memorial must have been quite moving. How's the coffee going? I'm enjoying all the fall flavors that are out...I'm not a camper either. Can't even pretend to be.

JOCA...when are you moving into the new digs?

Pikester, I don't watch the Family Guy, but I'll ask BF about it...sounds cute though.

Weekend was very busy. I'm going to the Phils soon! While up at Binghamton, JCPEnney had an amazing sale. Almost all their summer clothes were 97 cents! Let me just say, I stocked up. Going to bring as much as I can for the Red Cross and donate it to the typhoon victims.

Speaking of typhoon relief, I found out last week that there's going to be a benefit concert while I'm there in Manila. The headliners? Katy Perry and Boys like Girls! Journey will be there (their lead singer is Filipino) and they're trying to get the Black Eyed Peas (who has a Filipino member too). I'm so excited! My SIL got tix, and I'm taking her and my oldest niece. Neither one of them have ever been to a concert, and now we're going!

Twins seem to be doing well. I dont' know if this makes sense, but it seems like my nephew's light has dimmed a little bit. He's not as vibrant as before. But he seems to be doing well and knows that I'm here for him.

If you ever want to feel bad about your age, try hanging out with a bunch of college students. While young adults in their own right, honeslty, their level of maturity is years behind. When I told them that I had graduated from Binghamton in '95 (:scared1:) they told me that they were in kindergarten! Ack! But I enjoyed myself. I'm not that old or out of the loop of popular culture. There was so humor I just didn't get, but I'll let that go....

Morning ladies! It's been a few days. We had some computer issues over the weekend but hopefully it will all be resolved by this evening. It seems that when they sent us a new router we got it installed correctly on our end but they sorta forgot to do the upgrade work on their end. Embarq is now Century so they are upgrading the system on top of that. I may be amazed at what I have been missing when it all kicks in! I may be surfing the internet at lightening speed! One can hope.
Been running here and there and staying busy. Yesterday we went into Fort Worth so DS could help referee the kids Jiu-Jitsu tournament. The rest of us made a grocery run at Walmart. Lordy it was crowded! DD picked up a new fish to replace her now deceased algae eater. Our new leopardy looking catfish, "Katy", is adapting to her new home just fine. Grabbed lunch at one of our favorite Chinese eateries. My fortune was a good one.... it read "You will always get what you want through your charm and personality." I like it! :thumbsup2
The prescription the doctor gave me last week seems to be working some. I definitely feel like eating less. So far only a few pounds but that is a start and is encouraging. Unfortunately, the stuff is making it hard to sleep. I have been waking up at 3 or 4 in the morning. I hope my body makes an adjustment cause I am sure getting tired running on 4 hours sleep.
37.gif

M&N, looks like we will just have to wait and see if it works out for the 3 of us to get together. I am in awe of you! :worship: My scrapbooking plans appear to all be on a permanent hold.

LITC, Oh goodie! More new family pictures! Those are some awesome and beautiful shots!
My GS had to go through trying a bunch of different formulas when he was a baby too. Sometimes it takes a while to get it just right but when he does he and you will be so much happier. It is stressful wondering how to pay off those baby bills. Oh how I remember fretting too. Babies sure do cost a lot! Don't worry too much. Even though they may call and drive you nuts they can not repossess Walter. He is yours for keeps even if it takes you 10 years to get him paid for.

D&D, how did your pumpkin carving go? I was checking out the park update on another site. About halfway down the page there is a video of some of the carvings at WDW if you need any more ideas. http://www.mouseplanet.com/9033/Walt_Disney_World_Resort_Update (There is also a link for "Ice!" at the Gaylord Palms. It really looks cool.... or should I say cold. Anybody ever went to one of those?)
I don't care much for any of the modern day sitcoms much either. Just give me something humorous and corny from way back when and I am a happy camper.

BKMETV, nothing like a little sibling insult for inspiration. Kate sounds like she is a pretty sharp cookie! Not often that the younger one gets to hold something over the older ones head....at least not around our house. My DS loves to stay one up on poor DD at all times.
When are you going on your trip? Be advised that if you go anytime soon there is a possibility that the Grand Canyon may not look just like you imagined! We drove back from DL several years ago in October and stopped off to see the Canyon. Only problem was that it was snowing! Not at all what we had in mind. It was very pretty but it was so overcast you could not get the real sense of what was out there because we just could not see very far. Also it was very strange seeing everything white instead of the amazing colors you see in all the photographs. Granted, I don't think it snows out there very often but just wanted to throw this out there in case you hadn't thought about it. (We seem to attract bad weather when we travel. The one time we were close enough to see Niagara Falls.... they were frozen!)

Kitty, that was really quite a sale! Glad you were able to pick up some things to take with you on the trip. I saw Journey in concert when I was much younger. (As a matter of fact, DD just got through watching Bedtime Stories and Journey is singing in my living room right now! Don't stop believin..... hold on to that feeling... )
I hope your nephew snaps out of it soon and gets back to his normal self. Probably just gonna take some time. Never hurts to throw in a prayer. I am behind on the modern humor as well. DS is correcting me all the time for saying something that has a totally different meaning than when I was growing up and usually it ain't good!

Hi JOCAmom, Pikester, Sukie, DL55 and everyone else!

Oh, one more thing. I don't know if any of you worry about the swine flu too much but my aunt sent me this article which is pretty interesting. I am not quite as worried as our president seems to be but thinking about heading into WDW with so many people.... after reading this I think I just might get me a bottle.... just in case.

Here is a piece of information that was passed on to us from a nurse who is an active member and friend of the PCUMC/PCCA, our local school family. Hope this helps!

"There is a soap, called Hibiclens, that I have known about for years that surgeons use to scrub with before they go into surgery. What I just learned yesterday is that after washing with it for just 30 seconds, it will kill germs on your hands for 6 hours! It leaves a film on your hands (that you can't see/feel) which will continue to kill 99.9% germs for the next 6 hours. It stays on your hands even if you wash them later in the day, but the effectiveness starts to wear off after 6 hours AND it is more effective in killing the swine flu than soap and water!

I heard a physician talking about it on the radio yesterday and he said that he and his kids wash their hands with it in the morning right before they leave for the day, and then he washes with it again at lunch time. So hopefully they will have a bit more protection against swine flu as well as all the other germs that they encounter everyday. You can buy it "at any pharmacy", but I got mine at CVS, and I heard Walgreens has it too; it cost about $10.00 for 8 oz bottle, but you only use 1 tsp to wash. Washing for 30 secs has the same effectiveness as washing for 60 secs or 3 mins."

Here's a pic of how our pumpkins turned out.
10218_1100416605553_1680829676_205956_7174110_s.jpg
Kids had a blast carving them. I let them pick the stencil template on-line and then I drew it on the pumpkin for them. They did the carving. Of course Mom had to dig all the pumpkin guts out :crazy2:as they quit half way through. All in all it was fun.

Kitty - Not sure why we get such a kick out of carving pumpkins. The job sure is a messy one. Maybe cause when you're done and its lit the jack-o-lantern looks so cool.
I love that you are taking all those clothes down to the Phils. And what a bargain it was! :thumbsup2 That is so wonderful.
Marie - That's some expensive soap! Good idea, but costly. I guess I am a bad mother because I am not any more worried about my kids getting the swine flu than I am about the regular flu. If either of them had underlying conditions that would cause complications, I would consider the vaccine - but they don't. I think it may have already gone through our house but I am not sure because we weren't tested.

LITC - Are those matching Mickey sweaters???:thumbsup2 Very nice. Love the pics as always! I'll be expecting a Christmas card with a family picture on it now.

JOCA - Glad the moving is going well. It is kinda bitter-sweet to move to a new place. I always think of all the memories made in the old place, but look forward to more in the new place.

Pikester - Enjoy the cake!

Nothing like leftover cake. Mmmm!

halloweentortghost.gif

Our house was Booed last night. Neighbors leave Halloween treats on our doorstep, ring bell and then run. Now we have to boo someone else with some treats. The boys are really looking forward to this.

D&D ~ Love the Boo idea...we don't do that here, might have to start it up. BTW Great Pumpkins

Marie ~ I always say that if wasn't for the fact that Matt was bigger than his sister, he wouldn't stand a chance against her. She has a very strong personality. I actually have been to the G Canyon once before (in Jan) and was shocked that it was covered in snow...I hadn't really thought about it and all the pics I'd ever seen were of warm weather. It was about 14*F so it was a quick stop:) The people in Phoenix told us we wouldn't be able to get their because there was SNOW! BTW we are planning the trip for May. I've seen N. Falls frozen more often than I cared to...it amazes me how many people will stand in the freezing cold (and get wet) watching them.

MK ~ Your still just a baby...I had one of the mom's at school complaining that she was getting old and was dreading her birthday...turns out she was turning 27!! I kinda freaked her out when I said I could be her mother!!

LITC Baby Walter is blending in with the fall colors. ;)

JOCAmom We have gone to WDW Apr-May-June or early Dec. Dec was great, no lines but we froze! Last time we went in April and I was cold again! We are thinking June so I won't be cold if we camp in the pop up.

I'm wondering if attendance is down. We received a discount offer for Shades of Green. We have never received such an offer before. Too bad I can't go next Jan-Mar.
