Tipping

Ok so we are having the meal plan so those tips are all done. However I am unsure how to go about tipping for other things:

Haircuts for both boys on Main Street: how much to tip?
Face Painting? Do you tip for this at all?
Carriage Ride at PORS? How much?

Any ideas on what would be a good tip, I want to make sure I have the cash on hand as most things we do are getting charged to the room

I've never used any of these, but everytime I"ve tried to tip anyone besides a waiter at a TS, they say they aren't allowed to accept tips. That includes bartenders at the Pub in EPCOT>

Really? See when I was on the phone with the CM making my reservations for the carriage ride they did say tipping would be nice.....so I want to make sure that I don't insult the driver or the hair dresser kwim?

My dad's a barber (not a Disney hehe) and he usually gets a couple of dollars per haircut. I would assume you would tip according to the behavior of the kids. If it's a tough haircut, I would give a little more myself. Also, I think it's better to offer the money. They don't have to take it, kwim. As far as the other stuff, I don't know. We've never tipped face painters here so I'm not sure about the world

I agree if they say no they say no, but I want to offer. I don't know if the cost of the haircut includes tip or not and I know the carriage ride does not. Thanks

Hairdressers are tipped just like waiters. 15-20%. I don't know about men's barber shops, never done that!

Carriage drivers are tipped, as well. I've only done three in my whole life, but we gave them about 20%.

I don't tip the face-painting people. (Gosh! The tipping line must be drawn somewhere!)

I always feel alot more generous when Im on vacation (must me all the wdw endorphins) I would tip what you would tip any hairdresser at home

We tip $10- for the carraige ride. 20% for haircuts. if just getting glitter then they charge you $5 and we tip 5- Face painting $5- , the one my dd got was 15- so we gave her 20- We tip at all the bars, even at Epcot and they did take our tips and were happy.

I didn't realize you could just get the spray and glitter? I am having a hard time figuring out how to get over to MK at the beginning our trip and they REALLY need haircuts
