Tink Got Me My Very Own Sharpies!- A Surprise Bday TR (3/8 Final Thoughts)

Wow - I can't believe she made it that many hours! Impressive! Love the sleeping shot - very cute and it gave us a good look at that beautiful dress! We were there a few days after you and it was very hot for the end of October.

Thanks! Ya, I should have put better pics up of the skirt. It's got a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Cone, a Mickey Bar, a Lollipop, and a Mickey Cupcake

I enjoyed the latest updates and am getting lazier and lazier about commenting. I want to go back to the Wishes Dessert Party for a minute, I have never attended but after reading your experience it does not sound like it is for us. I just don't enjoy paying all that money and thinking (like you) that I'll enjoy just sitting and watching to have to hurry up and worry about standing at the edge. I often think with alot of things that if people just stayed seated then everyone would be able to see better. Just like when the parade comes and then everyone suddenly stands up on the curb. If you don't stand you end up not being able to see.

I love all the night time pictures and looks like she did finally crash. BTW, I didn't see her on splash mountain. I will assume that she is hiding to stay nice and dry.

Too cute! :lovestruc

The Wishes Dessert party sounded like a good idea, if everyone stayed in their seats. Even with them standing at the railing, could you still see from your table?

Where is Aisling in this pic?!

You wore that child out! What a fabulous birthday! :goodvibes

Thanks guys! Did you think for a second that this CPS worker left her 6 year old while Randy and I rode without her?!?! No, she's with Randy. See how his left arm is stretched out...he's holding on to her. She loves Splash Mountain, loves getting wet, always ducks for the pictures :confused3

You could still see the fireworks from my table. The pics of Randy holding Ash watching them I actually took sitting at my table but it would have been more enjoyable I think if everyone just relaxed.

It looks like your DD had a simply MAGICAL birthday! What a great night at MK - and your pictures there are fabulous. Especially the one of the orange castle - WOW!!!

Excited to read about your next day :goodvibes

Thank you very much! The orange castle is blown up and hanging in my dining room now. My DH let me have one room to hang scenery shots of WDW!

That's it?????? Those 10 plates were the DESSERT PARTAY????? Are you kidding me? I thought there were several tables of desserts? and pushing and shoving??? OHHHH NOOOOO!!! So sorry it was dissappointing. I will cross that off my list. BUT, Aisling did look cute in her outfit! I LOVE your pics of the castle and on Spl M. So cool!
Poor thing just wore herself out....but that has to be the best birthday ever!!!! :cool1:

Of course not! I just thought it was funny that we could see you and Randy but not her. I figured she was hiding in there somewhere. :thumbsup2

That was it! Not too exciting huh? Luckily I had been warned by Stacy. The other issue is that if you go to a character meal beforehand, you really are too full to try much!

Thank you about the pics!

Yes, her 7th birthday is never going to top this!

I was just teasing! I wish we could have left her for a minute! :rotfl:

your pictures are beautiful
I love the last one of her sound to sleep
there is nothing sweeter then a sleeping child, wish my new one would do a lot more of that ;):lmao:

Love the update (and the pics of the outfit on a decent model ;)). That seems like the best birthday EVAH!

We had 5 tables of food when our dessert party first started. Then they took one away, then another. Before the fireworks started, they were down to 1 table of food. We did 1900 PF before the dessert party too, but our ressie was 5 and then the party at 9, so we had a little time in between. Most everyone sat down at ours, but it was far from full. We had pretty goods seats off to the side. I am glad we did it, but won't ever do it again.

Sooooo, when is Ash going to call with her May design order?

We had 2 tables the whole time. But they stopped refilling them about 10 minutes before the fireworks started.

I told her that she might have a matching outfit with the boys for SWW and she was THRILLED!!!! She's actually okay with wearing repeats other than that.

For those who didn't read my PTR...Aisling's entire bday wardrobe was courtesy of Miss Stacy!!!!!

Funny/Cute Story

So last night Aisling (who is practically jumping out of her skin about going to WDW for SWW), said "did you see the letter on the table" Of course, mean mommy that I am immediately thought that she had gotten some letter from the teacher ;) :lmao:

Nope. It was a letter written in pink crayon and it said:

Dear Smith Family. This is Tinkerbell. I know you are coming back to Disney so I'm going to bring you pins and glow sticks. I love you Smiths.

How hilarious is that?

We've been debating if she actually knew that Randy and I put out the Tink gifts every year but didn't want to tell us. Guess we got our answer. ;) :rotfl:

I am finally caught up again! I am sorry the dessert party was disappointing. Aisling looks so pretty in her dessert outfit. I can't believe she stayed up so late! I also love the pink crayon note from Tinkerbelle! Too Cute! :cutie:

That is too cute and funny! She is one smart cookie!

Thats too cute!! She is a smart one :thumbsup2

Heather and Miss Stacy are both super-talented!

Love the Tink story!

She is too smart for her own good sometimes! But if anyone has any tips to really motivate her to read...please let me know. She's SOOOOO lazy around it and doesn't want to practice at all :confused3

I love Heather's designs....just wish I had the embroidery machine to do some designs! And yes, Miss Stacy spoils Aisling rotten. In fact Aisling gets spoiled by a lot of DISers ;)
