We are going for four weeks and a bit...is it cheaper to get ten day passes with waterpark fun and more and skip the hopping and upgrade the days or buy the premium and get all the works...
Also if we use the passes the first day they expire 14 days or on the evening of the 14th day...ie come on apr 21 and expire may 4...should we wait till halfway through to go to disney and do other parks ie universal and busch the first week...

I think it depends on what you want to do with those tickets. If you're staying off site then the temptation of going to the Disney Parks might not be too great. If you're thinking the only thing you want to do regarding Disney that first half is take in a water park once then I would just buy the basic tickets and buy admission to the water park seperately so that your Disney ticket isn't activated. If you want to go more then once or do the "and more" options then you might want to look at getting the no expiry option.

I guess it boils down to how you like to vacation. If you are someone that likes to fly by the seat of your pants and do what ever you feel like doing that day then the no-expiry might be the way to go. Or if you are very structured and like to stick to the schedule then leave Disney to the end of your trip.

Here's something else to consider though....if you are buying for ten days already and are leaning towards the possibility of going again within the year you might want to look at annual passes. It would save you on the parking fees so if you are going ten times to the park there's over $100 savings right there. 'Course you have to multiply it out times the number in your family.

I'm of no help at all am I ....... :upsidedow

Hi there and thanks for your advice...I am a very structured person, and there may be min six max eight people going on this trip...I do realize annual passes we dont pay for parking but I also know we can park at water parks and downtown disney for free...at least that is what I was told...
I dont usually like to travel on the skin of my pants but three years ago we went for one week and eneded up staying an extra week because we felt so rushed...we didnt get to do anything else besides disney and this time we will get the chance and we are used to the system...
I dont thinkI will buy the no expiry...would rather get annual pass.

Just throwing this out there......if you buy the 10 day pass with WP&M option you have 20 admissions to use in only 14 days. Can you do this???? Are you willing to do half days at the parks or WP???

If this is the ticket you decide to go with I would do some others places first....Universal or whatever....and then start WDW part way through your trip.

4 weeks ......lucky :thumbsup2

I believe we will start disney on or around May 1st...we can do the plus options first or will the tickets still expire on the 14th day...We are getting orlando flex 6 tickets so will have lots to do also hubby and I have tickets tot he sleuth dinner and the luau at universal...looking forward to it.

It's 14 days from first use...regardless of which admission you use first.
