Tickets with scratch-off IDs?

Hi all,

Just purchased our tickets from AAA for our trip in 3 weeks. I was all excited to finally have them and when I got home to link them to MDE, I discovered that it was asking for a 12-digit ID number. The back of my tickets only have an 8-digit code listed with the remaining digits hidden behind a scratch-off bar. The paperwork states that altering the tickets will render them invalid, so I'm a little paranoid to scratch off that bar. But at the same time, I would really like to make my FP+ selections.

Has anyone else come across this problem? I'm starting to think that AAA did not have the updated tickets and I will need to have them swapped out once we arrive in order to do anything with them. :headache:

These are for protection prior to final sale so nobody can claim a lost ticket by having the full number. As final purchaser you can scratch that off safely.
