tickets at resort??

question... we have our resort reserved but did not get our tickets yet.. wondering if we should get them thru UT or from WDW I decided to get them thru WDW so my question is..... when I went to buy them on the WDW site they have a 'will call' where you pick them up at any ticket place at WDW/resort or they will send them to me.... is there any benefit to me to have them send them or to pick them up at the resort??? I know they have the new RFID tickets/bracelet thingy so not sure if it is more bother to have them send them to us if we need to exchange them anyway?!?!?!

If it was me, I'd probably will call them. Then all I have to worry about is having my ID with me when I go to pick them up; don't have to worry about getting anything in the mail on time or keeping up with anything after it arrives in the mail.

Don't worry about the RFID issue - in all likelihood you won't have them to deal with anyway since your trip is coming up soon. There is no full implementation yet. They probably aren't going to be a part of your trip experience this time around.

It sounds like the tickets on the website are for people who are not staying at one of their resorts. There is no reason to have tickets sent to you if you are staying at a WDW resort.

I just called reservations and had the tickets added to my room reservation. Then when we checked in to the resort, the tickets were automatically linked to the KTTW card. There was nothing to pick up, nothing to print. I had to pay in full when I called to add the tickets to my room only reservation, but I didn't have to pay anything more toward the room cost.

You can also wait to add the tickets until you check in, which is what we usually do.

usually I only do base tickets on our reservations. Then upon check in, I add hopper option and use my DVR points to pay for most of them.
