If I have a ticket for September 25 at EPCOT but are not able to attend due to weather, can I change the date of the ticket or get a credit to use in the future?

A regular 1-day ticket to EPCOT? Yes, you can change it to another date or keep the credit towards a future ticket. I suggest you make note of the ticket number and value because that the ticket will disappear from your view in MDE but a CM can find it later.

I posted previously and was advised that when converting a park hopper + to an AP, you would either need to pay for the waterpark add on for the AP or you would lose ability to visit water parks during this trip (or vice versa, if already used would have to pay for add on). My question today is…what about the mini golf? Can you still use the mini golf entitlement without it messing up anything with AP? If I upgrade to AP first, will I lose the mini golf for this trip? (We are staying onsite, but not a “package” as components were purchased separately.)

If you use ANY of the "plus" entitlements before upgrading you will have to add the "plus" option to the AP. Similarly, if you upgrade first but don't add the "plus" options you lose ability to do those things with the AP. You can still pay out of pocket to do any of the plus options, which may or may not be less expensive than adding the option to your AP depending on how you typically visit WDW.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure as I know some of the packages include one round of mini golf for staying onsite, but wasn’t sure how that worked.

You indicated you are not booked on a package. If you have a coupon, comp ticket or other type of access to mini-golf, etc. that can be used. It is entirely separate from the PH+ ticket. In 2025, all WDW resort guests will receive free admission to a water park on check-in day. That is also separate from any ticket.

Hi I'm wondering where is the best place to purchase WDW park tickets? I have an annual pass but my friend needs to purchase tickets. We are looking for the best pricing we can find (of course;). Any help you can supply would be greatly appreciated.

Undercover Tourist and Boardwalk Ticketing are sites that frequently come up here with positive reviews. You could try an online search for "authorized Disney ticket resellers" and then search here for reviews of the ones you're considering. We buy discounted Disney gift cards and buy directly via MDE.

Depends on how many theme parks days. If only 1 or 2, direct from Disney is the best option as the 3rd party sellers charge more than direct. If 3 or more days, compare prices from the sellers @CarolynFH mentioned.

Hi all! I tried a quick search but could only see answers with Annual Passes.

I am planning a 2 week trip in August 2025 - we are going to do an 8 day park pass. But my kiddo wanted to do 1 day at one of the water parks. Just one, so it seems illogical to buy the 8 day Parks + Water parks passes. If we buy the regular park passes, are we able to upgrade to the water park for one day and just pay the difference of the upgrade? Or would we need to buy a whole different ticket to do a water park for 1 day?

You can just buy a single water park ticket.

If you're staying on Disney property, I think they sre offering a free water park ticket for check in day

There is currently a special offer if you are staying at a Disney resort you can go to water park for free on your first day. Sorry I don’t have the link but there was a news item about it so do search

Doesn't matter when you do it it will cost the same.

Are you staying onsite? If so arrive EARLY on your check in day and use the free water park day Disney is giving on check in day only in 2025.

If staying offsite then either add the water parks fun and more now or just buy a one day water park ticket.

we are going to do an 8 day park pass
Is it a base ticket (1 park per day) or park-hopper ticket? If a hopper, it only costs something like $20 to add the water parks & sports option, which is less than a 1-day water park ticket.

If you have base tickets, it’s about $70 to add water parks & sports, which is similar to a single water park ticket. With 2 weeks but only 8 park days you might want to try the mini-golf or foot-golf options as well.

I was thinking an 8 day Base… initially we were only going to do a 4 day park pass and try to do all the parks in a day. But both my kid and I are neurodivergent and it would just be too much, so I figured with an 8 day pass we have a lot of time to pop into a park every day or if we have an afternoon or evening we wanted to get in a ride or two or show etc we could pop in. Perhaps a park hopper would be a good an idea.

We are doing 1 week at a Disney property (Port Orleans Riverside) and one week off property.

I am aware of the free water park access on day of check in however, we are flying in from Vancouver, Canada and the majority of flights arrive into MCO at like 2-4PM, then there wait for baggage, and rental car pick up the water parks would be closed or close to closing by the time we could hit them. Which sucks, and to fly in a day earlier and take a hotel for the night would probably cost more than the park admission itself. The down side of living at the furthers point on the continent from WDW haha.

But it sounds like we could upgrade 1 of our park passes for the water park option.

THANK YOU EVERYONE! These boards are amazing!

Just wanted to double check… if I buy from one of these sights, is the option to upgrade to an annual pass from Disney still an option?

We have a trip in December and hopefully another trip next September which makes an annual pass a better value. We are just not sure yet if it’s doable yet!

Upgrade to add the water parks & sports option is “all or nothing” meaning you can’t just upgrade 1 day of a multi-day ticket. That said, it’s a flat fee to upgrade whether it’s a 4-day ticket or a 10-day ticket. You can upgrade the 8-day ticket to have 8 “plus” options (water parks, mini-golf, foot golf, etc.) for approximately the same cost as a 1-day water park ticket.

As far as I know, yes, you can upgrade these tickets to an AP. On the day you buy the tickets from the authorized reseller, make note of what Disney's online price was for the same ticket. That's the value you should receive for the tickets you have, when you upgrade them to APs.

I think that you can link the tickets to your MDE account and then upgrade in MDE, but I may be mistaken about that. You might have to upgrade in person.

In any case, the upgrade must be done before you use the last entitlement on the ticket you have. You can do it before that if you want.

Hope this question makes sense. If you already have an AP, are you eligible to take advantage of the package deals? For example-the room, park hopper passes and free dining offered in December. If so, how would that work? Or would this defeat the purpose of the AP? Would you just be able to use an AP discount for your rooms? Thanks guys!

If you have an AP, do you find the requirement to reserve a park each day limiting or is it pretty easy to get your park for the day?
