Ticket Questions

Hello all, just some basic questions that I can't exactly find answers to...

1 - Is there a limit to how many times you change the date of your tickets?
2 - If we buy park hoppers, what happens if the park you want to visit later in the day is full, how do you know, is it somewhere in the app?
3 - Can you add park hopping once you have activated your first day on the ticket, so if that same day (day 1) we wanted to park hop can we add it that day?
4 - Can you add park hopping a few days into your tickets? So if you don't want to park hop on day 1 or 2 but day 3 of ticket you would like to, can you add it just for that day or will you be required to pay for park hopping for the whole ticket?

Mostly we want to park hop but are concerned that parks we want to visit will be booked. We are travelling in early June, which we anticipate to be pretty crowded.

I believe You can add the hopper option at any time but you pay for it for the entire ticket. Example: you buy a 5 day ticket and on day 4 decide to add hopping. You’ll be charged for 5 days of park hopping. And Disney does not guarantee that parks will be open for hopping.

1. I don't know of any limit to the number of changes that you can make but you will pay for any increase in cost when you change dates. If the price if any new tickets is lower than the current ticket, you don't get a refund of the difference.
2. The only time that I recall hopping being restricted was on the 50th anniversary and only for the MK. There was a phone number that you could call when hopping was reinstated and it would let you know if any parks were not open for hopping.
3. Yes. You can add hopping even after you use a ticket for the first time.
4. You cannot purchase hopping for just certain days and not others. It's an all or nothing deal. You can add hopping on any day of your visit but you will pay for it for all days on your ticket.

To date, for re-entry and/or Park Hopping, not a single person has been denied entry to any park except for a few hours at MK on October 1, 2021.

The cost to add park hopping is a single add-on for the length of ticket, not a per day charge. $65 per ticket for 1-day tickets. $75 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets. $85 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets.
