Ticket Question

A search didn't provide an answer to my question, so I hope you can help.

I already have 7 day tickets from a prior ticket only purchase.

If I buy a Disney vacation package w/ 2 day tickets & dining - can I save the 2 day package tickets for future use and use my 7 day ticket instead during the stay?

If I can save them, when or how would we be able to use the Disney Quest and miniature golf perk that is part of the package? Are those package inclusions attached to my room key or would they be attached to the 2 day park ticket?

You can save the 2 day tickets for use at a later date. For DisneyQuest and miniature golf you'll receive vouchers that aren't attached to anything.

The DQ and Mini Golf are tied to your resort stay, not to your tickets. So you're good to go.

You can have the 2-day tickets put on separate plastic media and take them home with you, or you can keep them on your MDE. There is a way to prioritize which tickets you use with your magic bands for park entry, but I have no experience with that.

Your old 7-day tickets will be ready to use. However, if you want to upgrade them in any way, you must first use them to enter a theme park before upgrading. That way, they are "price-bridged" to current gate price when calculating upgrade cost. Otherwise, you would only get credit for their original worth, and you would owe the difference between the original cost and today's cost, plus the upgrade cost.

Are you getting free dining? That requires minimum 2-day tickets. If you're buying the dining plan, you only need to purchase 1-day tickets.
