We wanted to let you know that ticket prices are increasing at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. The new prices go into effect on June 12, but today we’re sharing an early look at pricing details as well as some existing special values for Florida and California residents.
At Walt Disney World Resort, the Magic Your Way ticket offers a variety of options for you to customize your ticket purchase and save on your visit. Florida residents can also take advantage of the monthly payment plan we launched last year to give them greater flexibility when they purchase an annual pass. All updated pricing is posted on the Blog and also will be added to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets-passes/.
And at Disneyland Resort, details about ticket prices are posted on a special page we’ve created on the Disney Parks Blog. The information will also be available at http://disneyland.disney.go.com/tickets/ on June 12, including details about special summer values for Southern California and Northern Baja residents, as well as our Southern California resident pass, which is more popular than ever with the monthly payments option.

The sigh of relief when I'm going to WDW June 11th and buying a ticket at the gate!

Thank you for posting this.

I can't seem to find what the prices are going up to. Anyone have any idea?

Is it better for me to buy tickets now rather than wait until we arrive on 7/3? We were told by our hotel not to buy tickets until we arrive, because their broker always has better deals.

What is your opinion?

I am waiting to see the new internal price list. As soon as I see it I will update the ticket sticky with the new prices.

I just saw something and it looks like annual passes are going up $20. I can't seem to find anything on renewals though. I would appreciate it if you find that info too! Thanks!!

The blog post doesn't list renewals, but I'm betting there is an increase there as well. But yes, the standard AP is up $20. I didn't go through all of them one by one :)

The $8/day is a surprise to me...

If I already have an annual pass that is current and activated, can I buy new passes and not have them connected to the ones I have now :confused3 Would I be able to have the new year time frame start when we use the new annual passes for the first time :rolleyes1 Last year, thanks to the DISboards , I bought my 10 day park hoppers from Under Cover Tourist before the increase and then upgraded them to annual passes after using them once so I maximized my savings :dance3:

So since I have already purchased and paid for a package will I get hit up with the price increase too. I go July 21st for 10 days. There are 17 of us so the increase could be a real budget buster.

Paid packages are safe. Only sales after the effective date will be subject to the increase.

I would buy them NOW from a discounter, like Undercover Tourist: www.undercovertourist.com.

Why not buy more 10-day park hoppers and do the same in the future?

Packages already booked should not be affected at all. However, if you make modifications, I believe the new prices will be effective.

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking ;) You can always buy new "passes" (really, exchange certificates, aka "vouchers") at the current price, and activate them at a future date. Renewals are a bit weirder. Technically, you can't renew an existing AP until 30 days of either side of your expiration, but there are also AP renewal vouchers. Not 100% sure how they work.

I just called DVC member services and bought new AP's!!! Ugh! I was going to wait until the end of July or so and buy them before the usual Aug. price increase.....glad I happened to see it posted on FB and then came over here to check. Anyway, the AP and renewal price is going up $20! The lady I talked to said the renewal price was $354 going to $374, before tax!
Wish I was doing a renewal! DS just turned 10, so it's adult prices for him now.

Thanks for the info. I've tried to renew online, but it's not letting me. I guess I'll have to call.

company heard a voice from the grave, (whispering) "if you raise it they will still come"
