Side note - if any of you have old MB+s floating around:
Make sure you charge your bands occasionally (maybe every couple of months or so), even if you never use them. At least charge them in full (and turn them off) before putting them away long-term.
I bought an older Epcot band recently off eBay (probably 2022-era), and, despite being unused/new, it was flat dead. It turned on when I plugged it in, but the battery absolutely would not take a charge. (As soon as I unplugged it, it was dead.)
Apparently, if an MB+ battery goes completely completely dead, the band won't recognize the battery, and it won't charge.
I poked around - some guy discovered that if you heat it with a hair dryer, it might start charging:
I tried that off-and-on for a while (maybe a half-hour), and it kinda sorta started taking a charge. I heated up one more time then left it plugged in overnight, and was pleasantly surprised to find it glowing green in the morning. But I think it only got to about 50% charge, and it hasn't taken a charge since then. (I wore it tonight - it works great, but I don't know how easy it's going to be to get it charged again. Mercifully, I really only need the tap, so even if the battery's dead, I can still use it.)
Unfortunately for me, I don't have a hair dryer, so I'll have to wait until the next hotel stay to try it again.
This was all new to me - I went ahead and charged my old ones, just to (hopefully) avoid this issue.
