1420Elexismc, hug and I love your chapter book answer! I enjoy reading some favorite kids series chapter books. Great to see you post!

Haha! You got us there! We've had a lot of good years, but they've been pretty lean lately. I still love them and am grateful to get to cheer them on!St. Louis Cardinals, the team that my beloved Red Sox beat in the 2004 and 2013 World Series. Sorry, just feeling a little mischievous tonight.![]()
I think they have absolutely no flavor, but I eat them because they are supposed to be really good for you with fiber, protein and good fats. I make a chia seed pudding using plain Greek yogurt, milk (I use unsweetened non dairy—almond, coconut), and the chia seeds. The seeds soften and expand in the milk/yogurt. I top it with microwaved frozen blueberries—makes a bit of syrup. I typically make a big batch that gives me about 6 servings. It does need to sit a while before the seeds soften—minimum of 1-2 hirs—I stir a few times during that time.I keep meaning to try chia seeds! Are they flavorful, or is it all about what you add to them? Any tips for how to prepare them?![]()

I know there are other recipes on line to add them to smoothies, muffins, quick breads etc but I don’t do that. I’ve also read that you can use them as a vegan egg substitute.
(I'm working on one as well - but it's down to the hard "all look alike" pieces, and I'm going slower than usual.)Working on my puzzles - I love this slow paced activity. I’m almost done with my current puzzle, so I need start thinking about which puzzle I want to work on next.
Love my crock pot!!Dinner cooking slowly in the crock-pot.
