Hello
We are planning our first trip to WDW in December 5-10 this year. :santa: I have a few questions I was hoping someone with experience can help me with. First, We have 2 girls ages 3 and 6 and we know we need to bring strollers for them. I have checked into the Orlando Stroller company for a double stroller but wanted to advice on whether or not it would be a good idea to just bring our own umbrella strollers. I have 2, one has a canopy and a little bag in the back but the other doesnt haver either. I was wondering if I could just buy a canopy/storage bag for the other stroller. Not really any storage space with the strollers though. It would be nice to save the $125, but if it won't hold all of our stuff, it won't be worth it. (so I should add, we are bringing in snacks, water bottles and some sandwiches on a few days to the parks)

Secondly, I have been trying to find out more information about photopass. When you pre-purchase, do they give you a card at check-in to your hotel? Also are the pictures on the "card"? The price listed now is $100 for the cd. Is the cd given to you at Disney or mailed? And lastly, can you print your own prints off of the cd and in different sizes?

My final question is about weather. What happens on days when it rains all day. We are going to Epcot Monday, MK Tue-Wed, AK Thur and HS Fri. Do you just wear ponchos all day and carry umbrellas? Are the rides even open on days it rains all day? I am just wondering about this in case I need to have a back up plan for someplace indoors like Disneyquest.

In advance, thank you for your help with planning our first trip.:woohoo:

HI...we rented form Magic Stroller and they wer amazing.I think I paid about 75$ for the week for a double jogger. It was really nice..had great storage, drink holders etc. They drop it to your hotel and pick it up when you leave.

As for weather...you can do everything if it rains, so don't worry. It rains alot in Florida so just be prepared..ponchos and umbrella's will work fine.

I only did photopass CD once. I think you can prepay for it. YOu can get the photopass cards anywhere in disney..even from the photographers. Just save your passes and then when you get home you can activate and print your pictures. Good luck and have fun!:thumbsup2

If you have a disney package reservation they will send a PP card with you packet. If not every photorapher has them.

If you preorder you can get the discount.

In the parks you take a card and hand it to the photographer they scan the card an take pictures which are added to the cards account. Then at home before or after you set up a photopass acount online. When you return you add the cards of cards, doesn't matter if you get one each day or use the same one the whole trip, onto you PP account. The picture from the cards are all send to you PP account. Then you can edit them, there are some disney add ons, and order products with you PP photos on them such as the CD. If you get the cd then it's mailed to you and you can do whatever you want with the pictures. Crop them, change them to black and white, make prints use them as wallpaper, it doens't matter you have the files.

At WDW only a few attractions are affected by weather. Consider that Big Thunder Mountain is open to the air but the people mover is covered. So yes wear ponchos and use an umbrella rainy days are fun days too.

I would save the money and just bring your own strollers. We went last January when my boys were 3 and 6. Our rental house had two umbrella strollers, and we ended up bringing both of them to the parks a few days. DS(3) rode in one quite a bit, but older DS never rode in one. It was freezing cold when we were there, and we ended up using the extra stroller to haul all of our jackets when it warmed up in the afternoon.

As for storing stuff, we used a tote bag for things we could leave with the stroller while we were on rides (extra clothes, snacks, water bottle). We also had a backpack that we brought on the rides with our valuables in it. We ended up refilling a water bottle at fountains and adding lemonade packets, so that cut down on some of the stuff we had to bring with us. If you are concerned about rain, bring a couple of extra ponchos and some binder clips to cover your strollers while you are inside.

We are thinking about photopass for this trip, but haven't done it before. My understanding is that when you prepurchase, you are given an account #. Once you get to the park, you get a photopass card from a photographer. The card has a number on the back. Your pictures are linked to that number. You then log in to your photopass account (either at the photo center or when you get home) and add the card number to your account. You can add multiple card numbers to an account. For example, if you forget your photopass card one day, just get a new one from another photographer and use that card, then add it to your account. People recommend taking a picture of the back of your photopass card in case you lose it you still have the number for reference. Then when you get home you can edit and add borders to your pics. They send you the cd and you can print as many pics as you want, wherever you want, any size you want. I hope this is accurate, and if it's not, I hope someone corrects me!
