What wonderful memories the Reagan children have of their dad. I was going from a tear to a smile and and back. Maybe true chips off the old block.

They sure did make me cry! I thought they did a great job!

They were great. I have not cried like this since my grandfather died. Godspeed President Reagan.

They were so touching, and such reminders of Christ's love. (I did almost lose my tea all over the keyboard when his daughter related the story of the goldfish, and said she asked her dad if they should kill them all!:D) His Pastor is speaking right now, and is doing a nice job as well.

I only got to see 2 of the 3 and, I think their Dad is proud of them. :D

:sad1: Sad indeed...

There is nothing that compares to the heartache of losing a parent.
May he rest in peace ^i^

KimRaye, try to hear Michael's if replayed. It was so from his heart--shouldn't be missed!

Wonderful courage and thoughts shared. It is just sad to me to think that we often wait to pay such tribute to people when they are gone. He was a wonderful man, husband, father and leader.

Agree also about's Michael's...May God be with the family. We all lose loved ones...very few of us have to do it over a week and with the world watching.

It meant a lot having Michael, Patti, and Ron speak.

Oh, I heard Mike's (as he called himself ;) ) very heartwarming from the opening, "I was the chosen one". I missed Ron Jr. :( DD was Beyond Bedtime at that time.

I found the story of Patti Davis' goldfish and it's funeral quite touch and so humorus. :D It's nice to hear children speak with such fond memories.::yes::

It was really nice to hear from his children. I especially liked Michael's speech. He was so proud to be Ronald Reagan's chosen son. They all gave glimpses into their family life with their remembrances. I felt so bad for Nancy Reagan all week but especially when they handed her the flag. That was heartbreaking!

I really enjoyed Michael's eulogy the best, what a great witness for Christ! God Bless him.

Godspeed Mr. President :D

Very heartwarming and it was obvious they loved their father very much. I also started to cry when Michael talked about the hugs he would give his dad and when his father no longer recognized him as Michael, but as the man that came and gave him hugs. I can't imagine anything more heart wrenching for a child than if your own parent no longer recognized you.:(
