Three days in Epcot?

We spent two days at Epcot with a six day pass two weeks ago, and could have used another day at Epcot. We explored all the KidCot stations, did the Easter egg hunt and explored what little is left of Future World. We really wanted to do some of the Perry Missions but just didn't have time. And there are several places I would love to eat there but still haven't had the opportunity after nine trips. If your family loves Epcot, then go for the third day.

I have never had the luxury of a 10 day trip, but in a five day trip, I did spend part of three days at Epcot. It probably helped that (1) I was staying in the Epcot resort area, so visiting was as easy as walking from my hotel room and (2) I had park hoppers and (3) there was a festival going on, with so many delicious things to eat.

For a ten day trip, I would probably opt for park hoppers for spontaneous relaxed fun, but that's strictly a matter of personal preference -- and you can always decide to add it later if you feel the need.

The majority of cast members in world showcase are international, and in my experience are really awesome to talk to. i ha a great conversation with a Japanese cast member who thought I was absolutely nuts for never seeing My Neighbor Totoro, and in Italy debated the finer points of the perfect ravioli.

My family and I also have had very good interactions with cast members. Since I lived in Germany for three years, I enjoy talking to the Germans in the World Showcase. My daughter had a good interaction with a German lady who turned 75 last year. Just think of what she has seen during her 75 years.....

Everywhere in Disney is amazing, but I've had the most authentic experiences at Epcot, to the point where it's not really "theme park" stuff, but just really memorable human interactions. I could easily spend three days or more there.

This is one of the reasons why Epcot is our favorite park. I call Epcot the "Untheme park" because it is nothing like the MK. And, I really hope that Disney doesn't "wreck" Epcot by changing that theme and making it more like MK!

I will say that we generally breeze through future world. The Coca Cola from around the world is pretty tops though!

One of our traditions is to stop at Club Cool on our way to the World Showcase. Nothing beats a frozen coke when you are feeling hot!

Yes - evenings in Future World are beautiful and most rides are walk-ons by 5 pm. WIth 3 days, you can do everything!

Don't forget to watch all the movies, the street performers and have snacks in World Showcase. Get some caramel popcorn in Germany!

In Future World, see the characters, watch the Jammitors for sure! Take time to watch and listen to the Fountain with some ice cream or a treat from the Fountain View café, go upstairs in the Seas and watch all the fish.

I think in our family Epcot is number one, we spend more time there than MK. It's fantastic even though some things are gone, there's still lots to see and do.

Agree with both of these - Innoventions East has one exhibit, Colortopia; Innoventions West has meet and greets. Spaceship Earth does have some fun, science-y activities after the ride, and TT has some interactive elements afterwards as well. But gone are the days of the educational/imaginative playgrounds.

Another fun thing to do at Epcot that can easily eat up an afternoon is doing the Agent P missions. It really helps the kids notice little details and explore the country pavilions.

While it's true that Future World isn't what it once was, there is more to do than this. The aquarium, manatee rescue, and other parts in the Living Seas is interesting and my family can spend a lot of time there. I also think Turtle Talk with Crush is totally worth doing, dude.

I think eating at Garden Grill and doing Living with the Land is good, too.

I agree that the Ahent P missions are fun!! (We are big Phineus and Ferb fans.)

Epcot is my absolute favorite park, so being able to spend 3 days there is a dream! We were just there in February and only had the time to do one day and we really barely saw what we wanted to and only got to part of World Showcase, and that's our favorite part.

I highly encourage you to check out Agent P's missions. My daughter (13) had an absolute blast and wanted to skip our scheduled day at Universal to go back to Epcot (wasn't happening as tickets were already purchased).

We are planning another trip for next year and our goal is to stay at a resort near Epcot and have park hoppers so that we may end our day in Epcot every day as we can only spend 5 days in the parks.

Has anyone gone to Epcot for three days? We have 10 days of tickets. I'm planning on 3 days at MK, 2 at AK, 2 at HS and at least 2 at Epcot. That leaves one extra day. We have three kids, 10, 6 and 16 months. We want to take our time and see it all without being rushed and be able to have nap and swim time in the afternoons. Looking at all there is to see at Epcot, I'm thinking we might want to spend three days there. I'm really looking forward to Epcot. I loved it as a kid. I definitely want to spend one day just on the World Showcase. My science loving 10 year old son will really enjoy Future World. I'm thinking one day on Future World West and one day on Future World East. That way we can get more fast passes and take our time a little more. One day for all of Future World seems like a lot. We could just play it by ear and see how far we get on our first Future World day, but I'd like to plan ahead for the fastpasses.

If we went for 10 days, Epcot would be one day. MK would be 4, DHS and AK would be 2 each. There would be one day with resort time/mini golf/pool/hit world of Disney at Disney Springs etc.

Yes. We come from the UK with 21-day park hopper tickets (usually spending 16 days in the parks in total) and usually spend 3-4 mornings, 1 afternoon and at least one evening in Epcot. We never get fed up of it. The early morning visits, taking advantage of EMH, are good for riding the most popular attractions, or meeting the characters e.g. Joy and Sadness. We also spend an afternoon wandering around the World Showcase taking in the atmosphere, shopping, and attractions, not be mention Santa Claus (as we visit every December). In the evening we come back for an adult's only meal out in the Showcase and to see it all lit up at night.

You are right! For whatever reason, I never think about LwtL and The Seas as part of Future World, even though THEY ARE! In my mind it's like its own section (along with Journey...Imagination). Maybe because they aren't really "futuristic"? Anyhoo - thanks for pointing those out!
