We used the dining plan the last 2 years. The 1st year was free dining and we paid for it last year. We are not doing it this year and most likely won't again. I found it to be way too much food and we threw alot of it away. We also found that we worried too much about when our next ADR was instead of just enjoying the moment that the kids were having. And since they also cut out the tip and appetizer, I don't find it to be a good deal for our dining style. Since the meals are so big, many can be shared. And then that leaves "room" for all the goodies they have down there. Have you checked out any of menu links that they have on here? They give the prices of everything so if you kind of know what you would order, you can compare the prices.

Sure, your DH would be welcome to join us. We have lots of fun and the more the better. It starts around January so I'll make sure I send you and email with the link for that.

My problem with fantasy sports is that I do not like picking people/teams I don't root for. And I do not usually root for those who always win.

Since I stay with friends, I have not eaten many places in DW. It's fun to hear about the places and the worries over if the right decisions have been made. I do make sure I get an ice cream Mickey ears. I've also gotten addicted to the big Rice Crispy Mickey ears. My friend gets a discount which helps. I must try a Dole Whip this time though.

M&N-Tell your mom that she can come help me clean my house! I'll become a die hard Phillies fan-even get rid of my Jeter pics! :)

Racetrack-you speak my language girl! That is exactly what I was thinking about the DP. I had found the link to the restaurants-that helped me really see what we could get by with for our money. I'm all for sharing meals and having "snacks" as a meal...and eating at places where you don't have to tip! :thumbsup2 As of now we are only thinking of doing 2 or 3 TS meals. Any suggestions? We are up in the air also about doing a character meal. :confused3

So what do you think about Joey Logano? For you who are forced to read our NASCAR stuff, he's 18 yrs old and will have the car that Tony Stewart is leaving next year. He's not raced in the Nationwide series like most drivers have---not the trucks either. He's been in like the minor leagues.

He's only 18!! And he's that good!? Wow! Very impressive. I just found a pretty article about him. I'll try pasting the link.

I hope that works!

I should read what I type...I meant I found a pretty good article about Lagano-not a pretty article! :P

If I wasn't doing the fantasy league with DH, my dad & brother, I would have a much harder time picking. But it's for bragging rights and that makes all the difference. :lmao:

We haven't tried the dole whip either even though that's all you hear about on the boards. Plus we have just been too full from using the dining plan. This year, it's going to be desserts, more desserts, and even more desserts. I really want to spend some time in the Goofy's Candy place in DTD. All the goodies you can have made there sound wonderful. :cloud9:

aleciajab-there aren't too many character meals for boys, unfortunately. We have done the princess meals, of course, but that wouldn't work for you. Chef Mickey's is really popular. We are trying Sci-Fi at Hollywood Studios this year. You get to eat in cars and it's like you are at the drive-in. Corel Reef is pretty cool too. You eat dinner right next to the big aquariums.

The boards have got me intrigued with the Dole Whip too....that one will be a must! I am super pumped about hitting Goofy's Candy Place! I might just go there every day! It looks like a blast! I thought that Sci Fi place looked pretty good too. You'll have to let me know what you think of it.

You fit in perfectly right here. You should see some of the things I have typed on here.

Lagano is good but I'll save judgement until he get to race with the "big boys" in a couple of weeks. I think they said he's going to race Richmond, the last race before the chase. But if he turns out as good as they all think, Joe Gibbs racing will be giving Hendrick a run for it's money.

I've been really impressed with Keselowski (sp) who is driving for Jr. in the Busch series.

You ladies are really going to have me paying closer attention to racing the rest of this season! I love it! You can bet I'll for sure be paying attention next year when the Busch series race comes here! :cool1:

I lost my reply. It's been happening to me. I hit submit and a white screen comes up?

Anyway...thanks for the article. It was good with Joey's background. I thought it was neat that they moves south for his sister's ice skating and it turned out to be good for his sport too. They seem to be comparing him to Casey Atwood who started out good but doesn't have a ride now. I think Gibbs will be good for Joey---just hope Kyle doesn't rub off on him. (Had to say that for racetrack!) Personally, I think the article would have been prettier with pics! :rotfl:

I love it! I was thinking the exact same thing about his family moving for the sister and the fact that there were no pics!! :goodvibes

Anytime we can be of service. :lmao: We used to have a Busch race right here basically and we never got to go. We just thought it would always be here since alot of the drivers talked about how much they liked the track. But you're going to have so much fun at the race. I know I enjoy them more live than watching them on tv.

I, of course, like Brad K (whatever it is) too. I would even if he were not on Jr's team. He seems to be level headed and nice. I heard Jr say one time he may bring him up next year if Jr gets a Sprint team going. He said some of the changes NASCAR may make to the Nationwide car may make it better to have a Sprint team.

Everyone's leaving me.....................

I thought since you have to get up so early now, you have to get your beauty sleep earlier too.

So do you think Jr will start his own team before or after DEI shuts down? I don't have much faith in DEI anymore and that's sad.

And I do hope NASCAR does something about the Busch series. It's almost like it's an extra practice for some of these drivers when they are at the same track.
