I asked DH about ipods since we had to replace DD's on Saturday.
Funny story kinda, she lost her ipod on the plane flying out to WDW. DH was fumming about it I told him to lay off-he was making her cry on her first night of vacation. The ipod was a corporate prize and it hadn't cost him a cent. He was giving the "be responsible for your stuff" lecture. She really is a responsible child but accidents happen. Welllllllll, the next day DH loses his iphone on either a bus or the safari ride
. We started giving him the "take care of your stuff" lecture exactly like he had done. I had told him before not to wear it on his belt because it catches on things or pops off getting in and out of cars.
Anyways, when we got back we had to replace everything.
can you say karma!
DH says he likes the nano and so do I-the shuffle is a pain. If I want to listen to random music I'd listen to the radio.
There are 2 nanos, one has smaller memory, the other larger and you have more of a choice of colors. See: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...03651205&esvadt=999999-0-1103711-1&esvid=1837
DD's can play videos, but I told her I'd rather not have her download videos. Her BFF downloaded Pirates on hers and watched it on the plane, so I guess there is some benifit to it. I have a old nano-no video and love it I have an iride on my bike, small speakers that attach to the handlebars because it's not safe to ride with headphones on.
I agree about the earbuds-they hurt my ears so I use headphones we I need them.
The bad thing about her losing this one is that it had a cool glow in the dark skin so we could find it easily. Oh well, Overstock.com sells all sorts of accessories.
Hope this helps

computer...sometimes I'm typing and it's not writing it. Must be awfully slow tonight.

Oh geez, now I'm going to spend tomorrow reserching some more. But thanks for the info, gives me something to thing about with this whole thing.

Need to get on the ball and teach these boys a lesson.
