Does DH stand for DearHusband or Doody-Head?:confused3 I guess it all depends::rotfl2:

lightech
I totally feel ya.
They really can be doody-heads sometimes.
Chalk it up to 1)they are men and 2)see #1.;) :rolleyes1

Too funny. I'm gonna go with Dood-Head for the moment. But, I'm sure he'll make up for it later. He's usually very sweet after a whole day out with "the guys." I know it means they've been up to something, but I'll enjoy it while I can. :rolleyes1

See if you go with Dood head, your just talking like the kids you know Dude/dood:laughing:. A dood head can be anything you want. He's probably nice after b/c he appreciates :lovestruc that you give him the time out and others probably have to go through hec. :goodvibes

Maybe I should call him "Dood" when he gets home. He'll think I'm saying "Dude," but really it'll be my own little TK jab. I'll get to blow off steam w/o even starting a fight... :rotfl:

You guys are the best. You've gotten me from :sad1: to :rotfl: :lmao:

:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: that works!! He'll be wondering, what's w/ the dude talk :confused3, they must of had a surf dude on QVC selling boards today:laughing: .

Speaking of mac n cheese (earlier post) just had some, didn't make it Wegman's did. They do a good job I must say, I have made it homemade and have tried a few different recipes. I finally hit on one that has three cheeses:scared1: can we say have the ambulance standing by. Who said something earlier about cheese and if it's fried? Wegman's sells a frying cheese! It is so good:cloud9:.

Gotta go get my munchkin. Thanks for helping me get thru the end of my day!

DH did just call. He was very nice and sweet. I'm pretty sure he has no idea that he did anything wrong. I may just leave it that way since I know he didn't really mean anything by it in the first place. Geez, they really are clueless aren't they.

That's why god created women, someone needs to get it! talk to you later:goodvibes.

Okay dreamin you've been quiet, are you in the wedding stores again:rotfl:.

hello, hi anybody there??? I know it's Friday and I've missed the action the past few day:laughing:, okay I killed us:scared1:, please let it not be true!!

No, You didn't kill us.
I was checkin' in too.
Believe it or not with all the chatting today I forgot to tell ya'll about this great show I found on the FitTv channel. It's called Shimmy it's belly dancing classes. :thumbsup2
Totally :cool2: DD and I goof around with it and it's a good workout. No teenie, tiny girls jumping around.
It is a lot of fun. Record it and try it alone if you're shy but you gotta give it a whirl!!.

I told DM about it-she always thought it would be :cool2: to take belly dancing classes. My bet is she'll be trying it too. I told her if she throws out a hip, I'm going to tell the doctor the truth about her injury. :scared1:

Nightie, night TK'rs

night night (or DS says "nigh nigh") everyone.
i missed so much, but i'll be here bright and early while most of you will still be sleeping away! i'll get all caught up then.
hopefully tomorrow will at least be sunny for all of us, both physically and mentally!

Tell DS Nigh nigh. :goodvibes Sleep tight and as I STILL say to mine (19 and 17 ha ha) I hope you have Disney Dreams...yep I'm a total goofball.:goodvibes

Lightech Tell DH I said to be nice or I'll..ummmmm I'll....Call him a poo poo breathed lizard. Yea that'll show him. :upsidedow

Oh the mac and cheese looks good. I have made it that way too, but I use Extra Sharp Cheddar...pretty good. I think I am going to try the velveda next time...mmmmm'

Our little groundhog saw his shadow but only because of all the tv cameras! 6 more weeks of winter. Just hoping we don't get more snow...I kind of like not shoveling.
You killers had too much fun last night. :lmao: Got my day off on a good laugh.
Don't DIS too much during the football game.

good morning!

it is a beautiful sunny day!! still cold, but that's fine with me, as long as the rain stopped. interesting about the groundhog, i didn't realize it was today.

lighttech - you better call him dood all day! i don't get why guys do that. i mean they're out on their guys day, you would think they'd be nicer, since you're doing all the work while they're gone. other times i think they are quick on the phone and stuff, number 1, so they're not embarrassed by their friends. but number 2, they do feel guilty so they have to fast get off the phone! make sense?!

ok, i have to go back and read some more, i know there's more i want to say!

Good morning friends. The forecasters say its supposed to be sunny and mild but my area didn't get that notice. Its dark and gloomy, and everything is covered in ice. Its supposed to get better this week, and I hope that is true.

The groundhog doesn't know where I live. Its going to be AT LEAST another six weeks of winter up here. We usually have wintery weather through April.

I will say, though, at least we're not caught off guard with the harsh weather. We know we're going to get lots of snow and just complain about it. But at least we know what to expect. Lots of reports today of umprepared areas losing power and being unprepared.

Be safe everyone. Let's have a good day! Yesterday was so much fun!

BTW - I don't think I said, but I'm glad you had such a nice time on your solo trip. DH and I did WDW just before we decided to start trying for kids, and we had such a fun time together. It was a whole diff't experience going again w/ DS this past fall. Wonderful in a whole new way! But, I would like to get back there w/ DH some day. Maybe for a retirement party... in many, many moons!

i hope you do get back there before retirement age! it was really important to our marriage, i think. you kind of think, oh yeah, this is why i married you! you know, especially with the little ones demanding so much of your attention, and then so much of your conversations with your husband. we once went away further out on the island for 2 nights when our DD was 5 months old (over 3 years ago). that was the last time, so we needed it!

Awwwww, that is cute!!! BTW how was your trip without the kids?

as you can see from above, we had a GREAT time. we had an easy time at the parks just doing whatever WE wanted. also we were just there a few months ago with the kids so there were a lot of memories. here's a funny one (looking back it's funny). we all went to the boardwalk (there were 15 of us), we had a great time, and were just eating our ice cream when my son just started throwing up all over the place and especially himself. he was in the stroller so it was really disgusting! my husband was at the boardwalk for a business dinner a few nights before i got there. so he was walking past the spot of the incident, and pointed it out to his friend. he told him what happened and was like "oh i miss him so much!":rotfl: :lmao:

but we were reminded of how well we get along. i hope that makes sense! you know how it is, to just be alone for a change, without someone needing you every 10 seconds!!

i'm so glad we went. true, we really missed them, but we had a great time, too.
:lmao:

Mmmmmm all the No No's on South Beach.....ONLY A BILLION POUNDS TO GO!!! HAHA

i just had to tell you that the south beach diet worked so well for me after i had my daughter. my husband did it too, and i did the recipes in the book, so it was easier. good luck!

Glad you had fun! I know what you mean. We rarely even go out for an evening just the two of us. And, I'm sure our relationship could probably use it! We LOVE hanging out w/ DS. We just really enjoy being parents. But, it would be nice to be just two adults together too.

Goob Morbing Tk'rs
I habe a terrible cowld today.

I now kinda feel a little bad about hubby-bashing yesterday.

I was supposed to take DD and her 3 BFF to see Hannah Montanna 3D at 10 this morning.

just took off in the MomMobile, sunroof open, loaded with 4 tweenage girls bopping and singing to RadioDisney or some other "tween" music thummping through the speakers.

You know sometimes he can be a doody-head, but he's my doody head.

Hope you feel better!

And, I know what you mean. He makes me  sometimes, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. :cloud9:

ok, if yesterday was about man-bashing, let today be a day of man-love and appreciation. Even if they are doody-heads sometimes. As my hunka hunka burning love likes to remind me: you're always a princess; sometimes you're Princess Cranky, Princess Tired, Princess Bossy, Princess Smarty-Pants...

That's so sweet of hubby to take the girls to see the movie! I don't know if I could handle 4 teens on a weekend. They talk way too fast, about way too much, there's somehow always squealing involved, and it just leaves my head spinning.

But Daddies are so so important to young ladies.

Ooh, sun roof.

Feel better!

hi again!

you're so right, lighttech. we love being mommy and doody (ha daddy), as you know it rules your life, it defines your life. but we NEED to go out just the 2 of us.

hope you start feeling better soon, bopsmom. how very sweet of your hubby to take the girls. too bad you didn't get to see hannah, though. i would actually enjoy seeing her (but i don't have screaming tweens!). my DD already loves her, and that's just fine with me. i think the show is cute, and with good messages. and my DD actually laughs at the right parts. anyway, take a good long nap, and enjoy your alone time.

very funny, magikitty! my husband once bought me grumpy pjs from a business trip to disney (the dolphin again). they say grumpy across the butt. it is very true, i must admit. but you're right, they love us anyway. so they can't be that bad! and they mean sooo much to our young ladies. i'm with you for the man-love day!!

ok back to cleaning and :laundy: . yuck!
