Typhoon Lagoon questions

Going to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time in June. Are there Photo Pass photographers there? Can you wear Crocs on the slides?

I don't recall about photographers, but they will not let you wear shoes on slides

Water Shoes are allowed for most of the stuff except the high speed ones.

Photopass photographers are sometimes in the water parks but some visits I have not seen them. I've never really sought them out so not sure if they ever set up in a specific location but have seen them in them main pools taking pictures of guests.

Does it get very crowded? We’re hoping to take advantage of free admission on check in day but wouldn’t even get there till around 3 pm

It does get very crowded, however at that time of year I believe both waterparks will be open. So not as bad. It won't be an empty waterpark but probably not as "people soup" as it is when only one is open.

The water parks can get quite crowded but, many people arrive at park opening and by 3PM some have left and the crowds thin a bit. If a storm rolls through, which is quite common for FL, a great number of people leave and the park can be wonderfully quiet after a summer storm.
