All I have to say is that there ain't nothing wrong with 26! I've been 26 eight times already and its a lovely age! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

And come to think of it, since I've been unbirthday'd---I'm now 25! Even better!

whgrn-"Oh, Troy...he's so cute" I get this every single day. Bopsmom is going to try to make one with Troy and send me the file. When I make it and if it comes out ok (I'm not always too crafty :rotfl: lots of trial and error) I'll make one for you.

Bopsmom-Just a very special thank you. :flower3:

Bopsmom-if you don't mind sending both that would be great. Then I could make her 2 and maybe she'll be happy for a while. :rotfl:

Man, I leave for a little while and fighting starts. Do I have to call in one of the moderators on you. :rotfl2: Where is that report post symbol? :rolleyes1

HOW MANY OF THEM HORMONES YOU TAKIN', HONEY ? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hormones? We don't need no stinkin' hormones!!!:lmao: Actually, just Black Cohosh to help with the hot flashes (and yes, it really DOES help!)

i may be wrong, but i THINK she's joking!

Oh my gosh, PLEASE tell me no one took me seriously there! :scared1: TOTALLY just kidding!!! I used to be on an adoption board, and the originator used to say that any time someone said something like "I'm only 26", or I feel so fat, my size 6 jeans are too tight". :rotfl: Please forgive me if I ruffled any feathers!!

I'm playing it safe...no classes for me...I'll just Sweat to the Oldies with Richard in my living room since I cannot find my Bobby Sherman album. :rotfl:

I forgot to ask. How would you cut that light cake?
I did think the teapot one was cute but not for a wedding cake.

I have no idea....we didn't let her get that far with the idea for that cake. The teapot cake is odd but kinda cute. I might run the idea past her daughter to use at the bridal shower. I think stepmom will get a big kick out of seeing the cake there.

Hey killers, to late to comment but I see I missed alot. As usually, :rotfl2: :rotfl: you have me. Okay will catch up 2morrow. Glad I know what CMT oh gee that's the country music channel. I mean now I know it means Cindi's place:laughing:. Yes done that when DD was younger. I will catch up with all.
Been busy DD's B-Day Sat. (yes she was born on Ground Hog's Day) and you know it's the 17th, in my state driving time:scared1:.
Have a good night.

auDisfain...4 days! I'm so excited for you! Are you all ready? Are the kids jumping around in anticipation? We used to drive when I was little and do the same thing. We'd leave in the evening, so by the time we awoke the next day, we'd only have to wait a little while until we got to Orlando. (How did Dad drive all night?) Seeing all the signs as you approached Orlando really drove us overboard! It was such a great buildup to our vacation! Good luck to you and please drive safely!

Thank you all for the support on jetlag. Its never been this bad before.

Thanks! Yes, DD 4 is soooo excited. She went with DH this afternoon to have our car seen about. When the guy came in and told DH he needed to leave it for a couple of days DD said "We need our car, you can't keep our car, we're going to Disney World, we've got to have our car!" So funny.:rotfl: I'm telling ya'll, she's a sight. She's better now though because the rental car is bright, I mean bright, yellow and she thinks its cool.:thumbsup2

good morning! i'm up bright and early, so i sooo psyched about that.:rolleyes1
i think DD was just "too excited to sleep" because we put princess sheets on her bed last night. so up and at 'em at 6:30.

anyway. **gross alert**
it turns out that my dennis must have actually been sick, because last night before DH got home from work (of course it's before, so i had no help!), my son got sick while taking a tour of the entire first floor of the house. now i don't have a big house or anything, but when there's 8 places to get and you're cleaning that stuff, well i think i've said enough.

perhaps too much.

so so sorry!

magikitty - looks like we're just about the same age! i thought you look much younger in the pictures. now you really love me, right?! if i count the first (actual) time i turned 26, i've had 9 26th birthdays!! it's this next one that's kinda bothering me, though.

whgrn - we knew you were kidding! we were kidding you back! it's all good!!

m&n - i love richard simmons. he cracks me up! but i LOVED my step aerobics classes. but seriously, i haven't been to one of those since like 1999!! can you believe that?!?

more to say, just no time now. getting ready for school. already it's a pain!
and she's only 3!

magsnden-I remember stuff like that happening all too much. And it ALWAYS happened before DH would get home. Hope your little one is feeling better.

New sheets...isn't it nice when something so simple totally makes their day (or night). :goodvibes

Good morning everyone! Nothing much going on here. Dreamin. Cinderella's Table, haven't been for a few years. Love it, years ago they didn't have Cinderella downstairs. You went upstairs and there were all the characters that came around. More of the classic's Peter Pan, Wendy, Snow White. Anyway it is so pretty up there w/ the stain glass windows and all. I don't know if the still do this but when you had a ADR and would check in they use to give you a 'slip' that on the front look like a stain glass window (very pretty) and on the back had your name table for # and time and date. I framed it with a floating frame, even though you don't see the back when it's hanging you still had access to see the date and year (it was a nice memory) It went well in DD room back then. Of course being older she's done w/the pinks and purples:confused3, and needs those soothing spa like ocean colors:confused:.
They probably give those beeper things know :sad1:, but if they do still give those at check in keep it. I think your DD's will love it. We did breakfast, never dinner so I don't know about that. I have to tell you, I feel like I'm slacking, since were going at the same time here you are getting all your ressies together and I haven't done a thing:eek:.
okay killers, nothing much going on was going to go back and multi quote, but then I would be a hogger not a killer 2 days in a row, so we can't have that:rotfl2:.

Oink! Oink! Don't ever apologize for "hogging" disney54us...we love everything and everyone! I've also realized that I read other people's threads without ever contributing, and I'm sure we have some silent friends too! Get those posts up, we enjoy all of them...

magsnden (your name is so much easier to remember now that I know its your kids!)...yes, I'm a "lady of a certain age". And thank you for thinking that I'm really younger! I attribute it to the fact that I'm horribly immature in general. Actually, after the wedding in the Phils, it came out that certain members of my family AND I QUOTE "think its too late for me" meaning that I am officially the family's old maid/crazy cat lady. I personally feel that there's just less pressure on me now to get married and have babies. I do want those, but it just worked out on a different schedule. I so enjoy hearing about your little ones! Hope your little guy feels better soon. Poor darling.

Frankly, since school, its just been difficult in general to meet new people and make new friends. Luckily, I've had a great core group of friends from each schooling stage of my life and now I have my fellow TKers!

Jet lag has been conquered (I think anyway). Managed to stay up until 11p, and work up today at 5:30. Progress! Of course, today is grey and sleeting, perfect napping weather. Grr...off to try to get things done. Looking forward to today's chat! See ya later!

I have 2 Bobby Sherman albums but the movers lost the speakers to my record player! That was 10 years ago, I really should try to figure out how to hook up new speakers. :rotfl:

I hope your DS is feeling better. :flower3:

Sitting here wasting a little time before it's time to get DD. She pre-ordered the Emergency dvds and we are picking them up today after I pick her up.
Remember Emergency from the 70's. "Squad 51, Squad 51"
My DD thinks Randolph Mantooth is cute (of course who doesn't?)
She did a search on the net to find a recent pic.
He is in his 60's now I think.
I heard her scream from the computer "Ewwww, He's OLD."
I started laughing and said, "Yeah, those shows were made back when I was 5"
It grossed her out knowing she had a crush on someone old enough to be her grandfather.:lmao:

Since were're going back to our childhood and getting comments from the kids... Just thought I would throw out this---The long hair of the Beatles. Does anyone remember the outrage because their hair was sooo long? The kids now probably laugh too.

I had to google Randolph Mantooth but when I saw him I recognized him from his General Hospital days! Can we say yummy? The pics of his on IMDB show a distinguished looking very attractive gentleman. I must say, Shmu, your daughter has good taste. I didn't even know about that tv show Emergency--so she's well versed in popular culture also!

I don't remember the Beatles in their heyday, but I do remember when John Lennon was shot, it was the day before my birthday. I remember wondering what the big hoo-ha was about. I later discovered the Beatles and their music. I must say though, I'm a fan of early, short hair Beatles. And a huge fan of Paul's Wings phase.
