 but it is so funny too. Serves her right too....Karma is great.

Pillowcase looked great. That is one picture I will not show my kids. Or else, I'll be making them for the next couple of weeks. :rotfl:

Ok, here are the 2 cakes that we talked stepmom out of getting. Enjoy!

Love the cakes! They are too cool. :thumbsup2
The teapot would be great for a shower-uh oh, another theme party for you to plan:laughing:
I can send you the file of the Transfer if you need it.:flower3: DD says we should make up some muslin dolls and iron on the JoBros' faces on them-she might have something there.

oooh, that would be great if you could send that to me. DD's would love it. Of course, once I do that one, I'll have to make some with Troy from HSM. And the doll idea is great. I might have to take a trip to the craft store tomorrow. (I'm not banned anymore since I am helping with the wedding. :rotfl: )

Actually, Furture DSis wants to throw a bridal shower for her mom. I'm going to have to run the idea of using the teapot cake for that since her mom loves it so much. Thanks for the great idea. :goodvibes

good morning everyone!!
i'm only on page 106 (5 more to go), but had to say hello, since i'm sure i'll be torn away from the computer before i catch up!
we got home yesterday, and could NOT wait to see the kids. i know that's silly but what can i say? it was hard to trick maggie into believing we were NOT at disney. and we missed her so much. also our dennis did not have a good time without us. i don't know what it was, but he just didn't sleep well and wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink. he's been pretty much fine since we got back so my husband and i are convinced he was just missing us and was protesting. lol! he's just 20 months old. it was sweet when we picked them up from SIL's. he saw me and just kind of whispered "mama" and i picked him up and for like 3 minutes he put his head on my shoulder and hugged me! every now and then he'd pick up his head and look at me, as if to check that it was me!

ok enough of sappy me! we had a GREAT time. i had an amazing massage, and i really feel like we recharged on this trip. it was sad to go to the parks without our kids, but really that only lasted a few minutes! little things reminded us of them so that was good, and we were only there with everyone about 2 months ago.

it was so nice to walk the parks at a leisurely pace, and just have to consult eachother to see what to do next. to shop if we wanted, whatever. i think there has been so much stress involved in our last few visits, because you feel the pressure to make it the "magical" trip. not to mention the expense of it! so we REALLY relaxed on this trip! it was funny, when we'd here "take young children by the hand" we'd look at each other and say oh we don't have those this time!

ok back to catching up! see you later!

Good morning TKer's! So glad to magsnden back, I too LOVE the teapot cake, have also given up on any sort of organized exercise class due to snarky young people and scary gas issues! I've only been to Dallas and it was a lovely trip, but so long ago. Congrats on the success of the birthday pillowcase...but who is that kid? Is it HSM again? I have heard of Bobby Sherman, but just don't know from where...

Jet lag has gotten me again, I've been up since 3am and think this is truly contributing to my crankiness. I've decided to abuse caffeine today just so I can face Monday with a somewhat normal schedule.

Planning a girlfriend getaway! One of my closest friends got my sister and I tix to see the Spice Girls in Newark in February and we've left the hotel planning until the last minute! Only a weekend together, we have to plan carefully! Want to do stuff in the City (he's never been) but its so nasty cold out. Searching the Web for some great deals to be found.

Happy Sunday everyone! Do you think we lost Buffalogirl due to the CB move? Should we contact her or leave her be?

magsnden so glad you had a great time. :goodvibes
Bopsmom glad nothing but your dignity was injured. Karma - wait 30 yrs and look up those "snort girls". :rotfl:
dreamin in pa those cakes are amazing, but I still don't think they are right for a wedding. How would you cut the lamp?
MagiKitty jet lag :tilt: Hope you're better for Monday. Another trip to plan.

BTW I never said I was in my 20s, my body won't let me lie! :lmao:

I'm a tag/thread killer myself:sick: Fortunately after 10 years of posting on the DIS I only notice my being dissed occasionaly.
It's a fleeting :eeyore: kind of feeling then :tinker: takes over and I don't tink just keep posting.

Click my pic. Comments are greatly appreciated:flower3:

OK, if you do Troy from HSM you have GOT to share!! My DD would LOVE it, she LOVES him!!! I have absolutely NO ability in the crafts area, but I'd gladly pay whatever you say to have one of those as a surprise for her!

I think the teapot cake is perfect for a shower. It's so cute!!

Good evening, killers can't believe I haven't been on today:scared1:. multi quoting in split post, so much to catch up on and you know the smilie thing??not over 25, have to then go back and delete so i'll split. My GF from where I use to live ( not far about 20 mins.) was coming over I promised her chili, when she showed this year for Halloween ( my tradition), I didn't know she was coming and was having a little pity party, w/my broken feet. When I walked out of the kitchen and saw her which was a great surprise all I could say was "I didn't make chili".So ran around had to go to Wegman's just what I need another addiction:rotfl:. All was nice, I still miss her being right across the street, it was so easy to call and say I just made this come over.

Just got caught up. Happy Saturday Killers.
Are you sure you are ready? Might be time to head to Never Never Land. :rotfl:
I really love us... We crack me up. :rotfl:

Maybe its a magical night. I got out of work early for the first time in ages on a Friday (I usu work up until 9pm) and DH suggested searching thru our unused gift certificates and going out to dinner. :cloud9:
It was such a nice treat, and DS was truly an angel. DH and I said the same thing "may have to try this again." DS even ordered his own food saying "May I please have macaroni and cheese please." (He's 2 and 8mo, so quite an accomplishment.) I know I'm being a bit braggy, but I was just so happy to have such a nice night out. Really made my week.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You've come so far! :woohoo: :cool1:
You are not alone. I'm a klutz, but MIL has the best (or worst) story. She once tripped over a wave at the beach and broke her collar bone! Many years ago, so we laugh now...

Well, signing off. Gotta get back to work.

Have a great day TK'ers!

Glad you can catch up, I don't know don't we all want to be older? Then to decide it was more fun to be a kid:laughing:. Thanks we all have come so far. Tripping over a wave:confused3, priceless but glad you guys can laugh about it now.

phew, thanks disney54us. Its been a few hours. I thought maybe I killed us.

Never!!!, But I know the feeling:laughing:. Oh and I really love us too!!!

disney54us 500 Dis Veteran! :dance3: :woohoo: AND you figured how to fix an oops. :thumbsup2
dreamin in pa "wedding cake shaped liked a giant teapot" :rotfl2:
Bopsmom you listened to Bobby Sherman? So did I. I even saw him in concert with Davy Jones and Peter Noone.

Thanks, I know what is next a vetern and fixing a oops:rotfl2:. Life is Good.

I thought we all agreed that we were in our mid 20's on this thread:rolleyes1
I knew about him because I am a History :teacher: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Just Kiddin!
Actually he was a just a little bit before my time. I do remember watching him on the show Here Comes the Brides.
We just use to always say the phrase Peace,Love&Bobby Sherman when I was in High School
Ya'll might get a kick out of this site:cool2:
http://www.stuckinthe70s.com/index.html

We are all in our mid 20's:confused3, right:confused:. History teacher, of course that's why you would know that:rotfl2:.

Okay, I had all these nice little quotes, but when I submitted they were all gone, so I am going to go try to "talk" again haha. Anyway I did promise you guys my fall story.

Okay all, here is the story as I posted it on some thread that....you guessed it...I got totally ignored on...I think it is becoming almost humorous at this point.

Anyway, here it is...my great fall:

fell in step aerobics last night, right on my butt. Of course the class was full and I was up front. It would not have been so bad had I not had the slight BOUNCE from the fat on my fanny!! A bounce which the two "20 something" 110 pound girls in the back clearly saw judging by their slight snicker...actually it was more of a snort..but I digress...nope, not humiliated at all...nope not me. Did you know they stop the whole class when someone falls??? Yay me.

:yay: you are a super star and :rolleyes1 girls were just upset they weren/t getting the attention;).

awww Lighttech, I feel bad, you should have PM'd me I would have popped in and chatted with you during your lunch break. :guilty: Remember too, during the week any of you can feel free to click on my Yahoo thingie over there. I am not on as much over the weekends...but sometimes am...we use it at work to chat with off site people and each other when we are too lazy to get up lol, so I am always on at work. :goodvibes
well I quoted you twice, but darned if I remember what I was gonna say ha ha ha. Told ya...slooowwww thinker lately...must be that ripe old age of "25" kicking in. Maybe I need another unbirthday....OH WAIT...It is your Stepmom getting married? Or future stepmom lol.

Yay you on your 500 post!!!! :cheer2: :dance3: Nope, nothing broken just my pride when the instructor STOPPED THE WHOLE CLASS to ask if I was okay...then of course there was "snort girls" in the back....would it have been wrong to go pull her step from under her? :rotfl:
Thanks, pull the step what step???:rotfl2: :rotfl: Oops!

:rotfl2: pepper, you are too funny!!!!! I can't even do aerobics since I am challenged when it comes to coordination.

Hey, who is Bobby Sherman????

Bopsmom - She is going to  that pillow.
Well know you need to check your history and you will find out who Bobby is:rotfl2: :rotfl:.
pepperw23-nope, would not have been wrong to pull her step out from under her....as long as nobody sees you :tiptoe: And it's my dad getting married. And he has no idea what stepmom is planning for this wedding. I guess the guests won't be the only ones surprised. :lmao:

DL55-yup, a cake shaped like a teapot. And that was after her daughter and I talked her out of the one that looked like a lamp.

disney54us-She doesn't collect teapots. She just liked it. Now that you mentioned it, she is very much like Lucille Ball. She even has red hair and she is very clumsy too. And she is filled with very crazy ideas. :lmao:

You need to rent Auntie Mame, actually Rosalyn Russell is in that one, but it's my fav, just watch it (it's a great movie) and see what you think.

:rotfl2: I gave up on Jazzercise when I was spending more time recovering from it than doing it. I like Pilates and Piyo(a combination of Pilates and Yoga).
We have a Dance Dance Revolution Game (DD and friend playing right now). DH and I play it to make the kids laugh:rotfl2: always works! We use our lack of coordination for entertainment. I hope "snort girls" understand the workings of Karma. We had a "snort girl" in our Pilates class-she was soooo:snooty: because she was youngest and thought she could do anything and made comments to anyone that wasn't as limber. She forgot that during some of the yoga/pilates positions gas bubbles look for an escape route:rotfl2: needless to say she wasn't on the front row for the next class.
Can you say Karma!:thumbsup2

Say it all the time Karma is a (fill in the blank). Told you you were heading to the Mom's Hall of Fame" good job:thumbsup2.

Welcome back, glad you had a great trip. It is bittersweet, you are thankful to have some time together and at the same time especially in WDW you almost feel guilty:guilty:. How sweet your Den was, I'm sure you wanted to never let go:goodvibes.

Bobby Sherman, you know all of us 20 somethings really need to review our History:rotfl2:. You really need to rent HSM or keep the Disney channel on, they show it all the time. Don't worry you'll be dancing and singing in no time. :cool1: How cool, sounds like fun have a great time and let us know if Victoria cracks a smile. I know (re: Buffalogirl), we lost a few I noticed when I was going back over the old pages. I was thinking of inviting them to celebrate my 500+ milestone:laughing: by coming back and stopping by.

Hi, glad to see you back and posting, which one is Troy:confused:.

Ahh , yes I think I finally caught up and gee why couldn't I just be like most who say 'to much to comment on'. Now I am the thread hog, but hey at least we are on page one, right:confused3. Update on being over thirteen, kayla has been pm'ing me and they are trying to get it fixed. She is really nice and so helpful:goodvibes.

hey everyone! Not much going on around here for once. DS just got home from visiting his mom for his birthday. Now is when usually all the bad stuff starts so we are holding our breath that he doesn't revert back to his old behavior.

MagiKitty-another trip already. A girls weekend sounds like alot of fun.

magsnden-Welcome back. Oh, that was so sweet about your little boy. I just love those moments.

whgrn-"Oh, Troy...he's so cute" I get this every single day. Bopsmom is going to try to make one with Troy and send me the file. When I make it and if it comes out ok (I'm not always too crafty :rotfl: lots of trial and error) I'll make one for you.

Bopsmom-Just a very special thank you. :flower3:

disney54us-I'll help you out here. :lmao: You're really older than 13? :rotfl2: How much...a year or two? :rolleyes1 (I'm being sarcastic, please don't report me.)

And Troy  is Zac Effron. He's the main character in HSM...the one who likes Gabriella. Oh, I know way too much about this. :rotfl:

Me older maybe a year++++++:rotfl2:, Oh no, don't worry you don't know to much, now I got it. Of course I know who he is just wasn't sure his characters name. So here I am twenty something and know who Zac is:woohoo:. Ah I'd never report you:goodvibes.

disney54us-we must be the only ones who stay up later to dis. Of course for me, this is the only time that no one is bugging me for something...like cooking dinner or something other unimportant thing. :lmao:

I got all our reservation deposit confirmations today. :woohoo: I started making the ressies over 2 weeks ago but nobody could make up their minds about anything. :rolleyes2 Now comes the hard part of trying to figure out where to eat. Thinking of taking the girls to CRT. Any recommendations?

I skimmed a little. Too much for me to quote on.
Loved the cakes.
Love the exercise stories.:rotfl2:
Welcome anybody new.:welcome:
One more coat of paint in the bathroom in our basement and all painting is done except for trim work.
If anyone is interested, there is one picture of the kitchen section in my latest post in my PTR.
I am very tired this evening for some reason.:confused3
I need to try and regulate my schedule a little better I think.
Glad you had fun Magsnden. Any pics to share?

Good Monday morning TKers! Again, konked out early last night. So much for my efforts to beat jetlag...

Shmu...congrats on the painting! Its good to be so close to getting a project done, and in the winter no less! I usually try to endeavour some home improvement project in late spring...I haven't decided yet what to do, but its going to have to entail some serious organization!

dreamin...congrats on the ressies! I wish I could help more, but with it usually just being BF and I visiting the world during the low season, we usually just walk into our dinners. What's CRT? Still hoping to get into free dining later this year, so if I do, will look to my friends here to help me make some choices!

Oh! I know who Zac Efron is..and Troy is his character on HSM! I'm finally getting it now. I'm going to have to ask my neice about this...she'll be able to tell me, I'm sure. Have I really bypassed the "cool aunt" moniker by being so out of the loop?

magsnden..you little guy sounds so adorable! How refreshing a grown up trip must have been, even if a little bittersweet. Its a new perspective on the World. I totally wish I could afford massages more often. I had a body scrub over in the Phils and it was so fantastic! I knew I got to keep my undies on, so I tried to wear the biggest pair possible, but I was still a little shy about being undressed in front of a stranger. I got through it and was so glad I gave it a try!

deb*0*--sorry, I don't know how to make the cute mickey ears. Nevertheless, so glad you found us here and you are most most welcome to join us!

disney54us...so what did you decide? did you contact the lost ones? Oh, and congrats on 500 posts! It seems like so much, but it really is so easy to post a lot when you've found kindred spirits!

Ok, its finally a decent hour. I've been up for a while, but its difficult to get things accomplished at 4am without disturbing the neighbours. Have a good day everyone and talk to you throughout the day!

good morning everyone!

phew... finally caught up with all the posts while i was away. now, yup, no time to post! i'll definitely be back later! i have to upload my pictures. but... this is funny... i brought my camera and we took about 5 pictures of just me in front of the dolphin from epcot. that's it! no more!! it is a good one though, because i'm holding a margarita!! yummy!

monday already??!! boo hoo. :sad2: :sad1:
