hi again! i don't know where everyone is. just me and magikitty seem to be around.

i just remembered a really cool part of our trip. on wednesday night (i got to the dolphin around 3pm), DH's company hosted a "party" at islands of adventure. we had the whole park to ourselves basically. and free delicious food and ice cream, and free drinks. there were 8000 people at the convention, but probably 3 thousand (it's a guess, i bet even less) people were at the park. it was GREAT! we walked on EVERY ride. the rollercoasters are AMAZING there. we even waited for the front row on the hulk ride (maybe 4 minutes!). we rode the dueling dragons back to back. and we got right on the spiderman ride. i'm not a spiderman fan, really, but that ride is my favorite. it combines every kind of technology,and uses all of your senses. it's amazing!
we had a blast. we know we won't be taking the kids there for a really long time, and that's IF they become rollercoaster riders. so it was nice to go there and not have to "waste" a day of disney time. we even had free entry to universal's answer to pleasure island, but i was too exhausted to go there. too bad, though, we've been there before and it's a great time.

also our dennis did not have a good time without us. i don't know what it was, but he just didn't sleep well and wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink. he's been pretty much fine since we got back so my husband and i are convinced he was just missing us and was protesting. lol! he's just 20 months old. it was sweet when we picked them up from SIL's. he saw me and just kind of whispered "mama" and i picked him up and for like 3 minutes he put his head on my shoulder and hugged me! every now and then he'd pick up his head and look at me, as if to check that it was me!

I'm not done catching up...just had to say How cute...about your little one!

I cannot believe I missed out on the Bobby Sherman....crush on him big time!

I hear constantly about "my boyfriend, Zac Efron". DD actually HATES Gabriella because she "stole my boyfriend"!!! Umm, sweetheart, he's 20, you're 12. Do the math! (ok, so math is NOT her best subject...) She even has a life size cardboard cutout of Zac as Troy standing in her room!!

I know I was NEVER that over the moon for David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, or Bobby Sherman! Like them? yes Dream about them? yes But claim them as my boyfriend? never happen!

Ahhhh, youth. It's so wasted on the young!

I got all our reservation deposit confirmations today. I started making the ressies over 2 weeks ago but nobody could make up their minds about anything. Now comes the hard part of trying to figure out where to eat. Thinking of taking the girls to CRT. Any recommendations?

I know and I actually went up last night b/f 11:00, Congrat's on the ressies, do tell, do tell what you have planned. What is CRT, (still not good w/all the abbrev. should print them out), be glad to help once I know what it is.

Shmu...congrats on the painting! Its good to be so close to getting a project done, and in the winter no less! I usually try to endeavour some home improvement project in late spring...I haven't decided yet what to do, but its going to have to entail some serious organization!

dreamin...congrats on the ressies! I wish I could help more, but with it usually just being BF and I visiting the world during the low season, we usually just walk into our dinners. What's CRT? Still hoping to get into free dining later this year, so if I do, will look to my friends here to help me make some choices!

magsnden..you little guy sounds so adorable! How refreshing a grown up trip must have been, even if a little bittersweet. Its a new perspective on the World. I totally wish I could afford massages more often. I had a body scrub over in the Phils and it was so fantastic! I knew I got to keep my undies on, so I tried to wear the biggest pair possible, but I was still a little shy about being undressed in front of a stranger. I got through it and was so glad I gave it a try!

phew... finally caught up with all the posts while i was away. now, yup, no time to post! i'll definitely be back later! i have to upload my pictures. but... this is funny... i brought my camera and we took about 5 pictures of just me in front of the dolphin from epcot. that's it! no more!! it is a good one though, because i'm holding a margarita!! yummy!

Kind of a quiet day today. Our temps have finally gone above freezing. But, only until tomorrow night when we'll be back down in single digits. Walked my kids to school and felt like it was summer - and temps were only 35.

whgrn-That is so funny about your DD. My DD6 is the one who pretends to be Gabriella, she even has the costumes they were selling. Now DD11 is another story. I know she likes him, she knows she likes him but it's something we just don't admit to.

OOOh! Is the Cinderella's table the restaurant actually IN the castle on the second floor? I've actually done that! Was treated by roommate in college's parents years ago and we did this! I remember waiting outside the castle to be seated and just how cool it was to actually be inside the castle. I didn't even know it existed!

The food was really good and the service excellent, but I remember being disappointed that there weren't window views to look out at the park while you were eating. And I seem to remember getting some sort of cake for dessert that knocked my socks off.

I don't know if this wil help you at all with your ressies, but if you have little ones, eating at the castle will surely blow them away. Its like being part of an exclusive special club.

auDisfain...4 days! I'm so excited for you! Are you all ready? Are the kids jumping around in anticipation? We used to drive when I was little and do the same thing. We'd leave in the evening, so by the time we awoke the next day, we'd only have to wait a little while until we got to Orlando. (How did Dad drive all night?) Seeing all the signs as you approached Orlando really drove us overboard! It was such a great buildup to our vacation! Good luck to you and please drive safely!

Scary is finding this picture of Zac on DD's BF who spent the night Saturday(after the party) and this was the picture being passed around by 10 year olds. Not the David Cassidy, Bobby Sherman type of pictures we had!

GoodGravy, I'm so old I remeber the Farrah Faucett "scandal" with her poster. My Mom wouldn't let my brother have one in his room! Imagine what she would say about this. Parent Tip-check the back of the bedroom doors-that's where my brother put his poster and it was years before my Mom found it.

MagiKitty-thanks for the review of the restaurant. I would really love to get one the those ADR's for breakfast before the park opens. To be able to walk down Main Street before the park actually opens, I would be on Oh the pictures I could take then. I keep debating because of the price. But they are only little for so long....before I can blink, they might not think the princesses are cool enough.
