I have been trying to scan this thread to see if this has been answered yet, but only see it in reference to BC. We are staying at YC CL 7/23 - 8/3. We have requested a non-smoking room, as my son has severe asthma. Can anyone tell me which CL rooms are smoking vs. non? I am concerned about getting a non-smioking room that might be right next to a smoking room and him being affected by that. Thanks!
We will be at the Beach Club Villas in June and read somewhere about a refillable mug/cup for Hurricane Hannah's but didn't get any specifics. I think you buy the cup with an alcoholic beverage and may be able to refill it at a cost. Does this sound correct? Does anyone know what kind of beverages can be used to refill it (beer, frozen drinks, mixed drinks, etc.)? Thanks for any insight you can provide!![]()
You can email the IPO and have them put a note on your reservation about your son's medical condition. That way they won't put you next to a smoker and your room will be gone over if it ever was a smoking room.
It was mentioned above that you can take a bus to MGM from the Y&B Club. You cannot. The only way to MGM is by boat or foot.
Keep in mind that if you take the bus directly from the Y&B Club to Magic Kingdom, you will be left off at the entrance of Magic Kingdom - very quick and easy. However, if you decide to go via monorail, you must walk all the way through Epcot then wait for the monorail at Epcot. This monorail only takes you to the Ticket & Transportation Center. Then you must get off that monorail and either take the large ferry boat or the express or resort monorail to the Magic Kingdom. And you have to realize that you could wait 10-15 minutes for the first monorail and another 10-15 minutes for the second monorail or ferry plus add on the 20-30 minute walk time from the Y&B to the front of Epcot. Taking the direct bus is definitely quicker and definitely easier on your feet even if you end up waiting 20 minutes for the bus at the bus stop at the Y&B!
Some rooms have a daybed that 1 person can sleep on.Can you all tell me if some YC rooms have the couch/sleeper single??
thanks
Here's a link that may help you out also. It shows the room floor plans and the jogging map.is there a map of just the BC/YC/Epcot area so I can try and wrap my mind around where I'm going. We always stay at the Poly so I am completely lost.
did I miss the explanation of the "refillable" mugs? it can't be for grown-up drinks.. that would be too good to be true![]()
I am looking for ALL the locations for refillable mugs at the Beach Club.
Actually don't much care where I have to buy mugs initially (what location at BC) just how convenient they are to refill.
We have used these in the past and as we are huge beverage people (think Diet Coke addict) I know it will be helpful $$ wise.
Also, are Yacht club mugs the same or different?
Just very unfamiliar with this resort location.
any and all info greatly appreciated.
3) Do all Lagoon views on the CL look out toward the boardwalk?
No they do not. There are some lagoon view rooms that are over the wedding gazebo and those views of Illuminations would be blocked by another wing jetting out.If I might add on to your question...
Do all Lagoon views on CL have a view of the Illuminations fireworks?
Thanks!
On my ressie it says Standard View(WA). Any idea what WA stands for?
Thanks
