I'm new to this so be patient! Is this the only current thread for info on BC? I had posted a question on room request but didn't receive any replies. I'm wondering if the floor layouts are current. Also, what floor is the consierge floor?

This information has not been updated in several years. Please research current prices until the information can be updated. If there is anyone that would care to update this thread please let a resort moderator know. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

We just returned from our trip and I now know the answer to the handicapped rooms and bed arragnements. :guilty:

We thought all was well and we checked into our room to find only two beds. They were queen size but no single day bed in sight nor room for one.
The balcony was a sit down one and the location 2631 was great. The bathroom had all the needed grab bars and the roll in shower.

Our problem was the lack of the thrid bed. We had five people and two beds! I was a bit upset! It had been a long day and lots of travel complications due to ice storms in Charlotte that delayed flights for hours!
I called the desk and explained that we must have been given us the wrong room.

After a good 15 minute wait I was told that all they could do was try to squeeze in a roll away! I was not a happy camper! I had made 6 phone calls before the trip to make sure that the room we were promised existed and was assigned to us! I told the desk that a roll away was not aceptable with the wheelchair we had and they needed to do something to accomodate us as promised.

Let's just say that 3 hours later and many many phone calls made by me, along wit a trip down to the front desk and a wonderfully helpful CM by the name of Hazel! .....we were given a new room, one floor up with a connecting room. It was not what we had been promised but it did work for us. It was just a shame that it took so long and so many phone calls to get the matter settled!

Other than that we loved the resort and it's location. I would return there again in the future.

What are the operating hours for SAB? Looking at staying at YC next month. :cool1:

TIA!

Sorry you had to go through all that. I'm glad Hazel could help you out though, she is great. :earsboy:

OK for this thread. I work at the YC/BC so I'd be happy to answer questions. I'll try to check this thread often.

I have YC concierge, standard view reserved for our family of 5 for a few nights in March.

Can anybody tell me if I have a chance of seeing anything other than a parking area from a concierge standard view room?? I was told by CRO that they will not book waterview for a family of 5!! I would need two rooms. :confused3

Also, BC deluxe room is available. The WDW site does not give me any info on this type of room. I may want this instead of YC......

Is BC deluxe a concierge room?? What makes it "deluxe"? Where are the deluxe BC rooms located??? What is the view?? Do they have full balconies??

I would really want a full balcony. THAT is what is what swayed me to YC in the first place, but deluxe sounds nice! :goodvibes

THANKS for any info that helps me make my decision!!

As far as a standard room at the Yacht club in Concierge I believe it is a Garden view. :)

YCFAN mentioned on another thread, that you can book 4 into the water view and then just let IPO know that you'll indeed have 5 when you officially check-in. Just add your extra person then. The rooms are the same setup and you'll most likely get one with the 2 queens and a daybed.

There's actually some information on the deluxes way back on the 1st page of this thread. They are guaranteed water views, but they're not located on the concierge level. Your room key would gain you access to the 5th floor though. A Disney insider was nice enough to give me all the resort room layouts, I'd be happy to pass along what I have for the BC. In the deluxes, you enter into a little foyer with a chair and table, then you go into the main room which is bigger than a standard. It has 2 queen beds and a daybed. From the information I've been able to gather, the room numbers are 1557 (1st floor patio), 2557 (full balcony), 3557 (standing room balcony) & 4557 (full balcony). You can look here to see an old resort layout and find the rooms, http://www.disneyzone.net/bcresort.htm .

Unfortunately Tnkrbell, a majority of the standard view rooms on the concierge level do have parking lot views. A small number have garden views.

THANKS, everybody!!

I have some reservations about the place. :guilty: Finding out more and more and it is making me feel a bit uneasy.

Tammi, yes I saw the post regarding booking a waterview and then adding. My only problem (being the most unlucky vacationer I know) is that without doubt we would wind up in that room for 4. Believe me, we have a major joke in our household about rollaways after our BWI situation. It was nasty. I would not want to deal with a rollaway again.

I checked out the website. It was great. On another thread I had lots of questions answered and I just cancelled the YC ressie and didn't care for BC much at all from pics of the room and the views. Instead of splitting our stay, I just extended our GF stay for those nights I was going to switch. I do very much like trying the different resorts, but honestly our Thanksgiving BWI stay left me with such a bad taste - I am gun shy on trying new for now. I decided to stick with what I am comfortable with, know and love - the GF.

I really appreciate all the help and info!

This is a really silly question, but does anyone know how many different color schemes there are for the rooms? We just booked a trip for June, and I was wondering how my room might look.

Do alot of the Beach Club standard rooms have the day bed? I have a boy and a girl that don't want to sleep together. Thanks. :)

If the Marketplace doesnt open until 7:00, where can you go before then for mug refills?

Hi! I'd also love if someone could repost that map of the room layout at the BC?! I have seen it once or twice, where you could actually see the room numbers...but I have no idea where or what thread it was on!

Thanks!!

In the early morn before the Marketplace opened I remember going to the Yacht Club lobby to get coffee for my mug at a coffeestand.

No they dont so make sure that you request one. Not sure with only having a party of 4 if they'll guarantee with request, maybe someone else knows this answer.
