Thanks again for the info HockeyMomR we broke out the big map tonight and I was COMPLETELY turned around lol. I am horrible with directions to say the least but I didn't relize how bad it really was until tonight . I think we will be pretty happy there.

We check in to the Beach Club on the 4th next week. We have ressies for a standard room. We have 5 - so we need a daybed. It seems on the map that only some rooms have a daybed. Should I call and ask a few days before??

It's our 1st time to WDW!! Any BC tips are greatly appreciated!

anyone with a standard view and needing a daybed..4134 (or 3134,2134) was a great view and so quiet...very, very very close to elevators but no hall noise..loved this room!

I had requested the daybed MONTHS ago, re-requested in a fax to the resort 4 days before and when I checked in....NO DAYBED IN THE ROOM ASSIGNED!

The CM who check me in was very nice and helped me find a room with a daybed...great CM Georgine...faced the bus stop, but never heard or saw a bus...trees are very tall and thick! It helps to check in early..I was there at 11am

I was actually at the YC..but the BC is about a 5 minute walk to the Epcot International Gateway...if you have 5 booked in the room, they give the daybeds to those first

We will be there July 8 - 14! We will be the family with two older boys (ages 15 & 11) probably dressed in some kind of sports team gear.

We will be there the 9th-13 and I was laughing reading this because if I were to decribe my dd and her friend who will be with us I would say they will probably be wearing some sort of cheer shirt of shorts!!! (go gemz!!)
THey are both turning 12 in Sept/oct.

We have always requested and received a daybed, but I do always request. Especially with a family of 5, I think you will not have a problem getting a daybed.

Things I love about the Beach Club....The easy walk into and esp. out of Epcot at night (when all of the other people are heading towards the front of the park, it it so easy to walk out the "back" entrance"), access to great Epcot restaurants, Storm Along Bay, Beaches and Cream, walking over to the Boardwalk, we have always had great CMs and if there was a problem, they have been prompt about responding. My sons really like MGM as well and the close proximity of the Beach Club to MGM is a plus.

Have a great trip....we will be there on the 8th. Single Digits now!

It is the "Team Disney" store I think..it has nothing but sports stuff in it.

No, now we are a private gym it is off of Jog road and Southern.
Years ago we were in Rpb as a rec team. (5 years ago) Now for the past 5 years we are allstars

O.K. I will be on the lookout for girls in cheer apparel. As I had mentioned earlier my boys like to support their teams (also the Washington Redskins). Also my older son, I am sure, will be wearing his high school gear at some point (their colors are purple and black - MSJ for Mount Saint Joseph).

I'll be looking for the green ribbons too!
