We are not sure where we are staying, it all depends on how many rooms I have to book......vacations get more costly when you have young adult tag alongs ...I want to stay at the WL but that will be only if I can do one room and even than if Dayne comes we will probably go with a mod...if Gwendolyn & Joe join us we will probably be staying at the POP! :confused2:

But, I can tell you that I DO plan on eating at the Whispering Canyon so I know I will be able to see WL for Christmas...

Well I have the ones from Wal-Mart and I guess the elastic is just too tight for her head. Her head is tiny, so I'm not sure why it marks her head (like 25%-50%).

Aww--poor thing! Well, if some reason you order the headbands and aren't happy with them, you can return them and I'll refund your $. But I think you will be pleased!

Ohhh yay for WL!!!! It is so pretty. I stayed there twice, once at christmas time, once in August incase you have any questions. We moved out trip to January. We're only taking the kids out of school for one and a half days. In December we could only go for 3 nights and in January we could go for 6 nights. Plus DH's company is closed that week in Jan. I still can't decide between AKL or WL. I'm also scheming a 2 night POP trip in October for MNSSHP with just the girls and my mom.
I don't mind if you do both PTRs on one thread. It would be much easier actually to follow.
I love the clothes. I can't wait to see pictures of the girls in Disney wearing them. I got Amy that green shirt too at Old Navy. It was only 1.99 there was no way I could turn it down.
Sounds like a fun weekend. Happy belated birthday to your mom. She looks so young. I would of never guessed she was 60!

I've not visited WL before but it looks beautiful.. considering a meal there during our December trip!!

Took me a while to find your update. Did you know you've already accumulated 5 pages since the update. Crazy!

I think Wilderness Lodge for December is the perfect choice! It will be just beautiful. I also like your dates. Our dates were too close to Christmas itself. With our two extra days we ended up flying back the night before Christmas Eve. That was crazy. If we do the holidays again it will be earlier.

Thanks Barbara!! We are VERY excited about staying at WL!! We did have a nice weekend! No one ever believes my Mom is as old as she is!! I hope I have the same problem when I get older!!

We stayed at the WL for Hannah's fourth birthday trip and loved it. It was super nice having it all under one roof and we had great success with the boats and buses. They had a lot of fun things each day for the kids to do at the resort too. I think it is a perfect spot to experience WDW at Christmas.

It is! I miss those days. Now mine two will rarely walk out of the house if they're wearing the same clothes. At least the 4 of us can all wear the shirts I make for the next trip. The DISIGNS boards has great things.

Oh it makes sooo sad thinking about them growing up! However, I think the college program would be sooo much fun! I wish I had known about it when I was in college!! Brent's cousin worked at MK when she was in college!

ETA: We had an awesome room location that I think you would love. We requested a room off the main lobby and one that faced the inner courtyard, and we got it! (Here on the DIS, they're called Bear Face rooms, but that's not an official term.) It was so awesome. We could walk right out of our room and look out into the lobby of the hotel. I loved that. I didn't want to be way down one of the hallways completely away from the lobby.

I did a lot of research about WL here on the DIS before making our ressies. There's a thread on the resorts board all about WL. You'll learn more than you ever thought possible! I would suggest you start there and do some reading. That's how I decided which room type I wanted to request. Yes, those are standard rooms. We had a view of the pool and beautifully landscaped grounds. We were in room 4069.

Hiya Becky! I am all caught up. I LOVE all the cute clothes you have for both trips. I actually just ordered the Minnie Bling line--they were not on sale at the actual Disney Store a friend and I drove to a couple weeks ago. I am so excited to get some--LOVE that line. Alas, the new Minnie line is pretty cute too.

WL--ahhh my dream resort. It will be soooo gorgeous at that time. Did you talk to A about APs? I imagine with getting two trips, over 11 days it would be a better route to go. Plus, who knows--maybe you can sneak in another trip in May before you passes expire.

Are you doing an customs this go around from Etsy or did your experience totally turn you off? I ordered a custom dress for Lilian to wear at the BBB--I cannot wait to get it!! Other than that, I am still thinking of trying my own hand at the pillowcase dresses and such. They seem relatively easy to make. Girl clothing is so much easier to make than doll clothing! I am a tad worried that all the clothing that DGM bought her is going to be too big. I figure I will try things on her in June/July and go from there. There are several items (the first batch of clothing I posted on my PTR) that I believe are smaller size, at least a few of them.

Hi Becky - WOW!! I had so much to catch up on. It was only a few days since I last read as well - that reminds me - I must catch up on my PTR!!

The clothes you have already got are adorable - I have put Amber a couple of T-shirts but that is it so far - I must get cracking.

I love that you all have matching PJ's - me and Amber do to!!

WL - fantastic - I bet it will be so Christmassy! You will love that time of year. It is when we usually go so Summer for us this year is going to be a huge difference! You must be sure to visit the Gingerbread House at the GF - amazing - and the smel ... !!
