The girls are so cute! They look like they are having a good time playing in the snow. We woke up to a little snow. Not enough to make a snowman but we are gonna have a snowball fight later on. BTW, I love your umbrella. I now have a suggestion for what DH can get me for Valentines!

I've been away for a while and just got caught up.

YAY for the WL at Christmastime!! If (when ) we go at that time of year, that's where I want to stay. Love the new trip clothes for the girls! Those snow day pics were too cute! We got quite a bit of snow here yesterday, too.

Hi Becky! I am just getting caught up and I have to say YAY! for WL. I think that will be so perfect for Christmas. We went by there for a little while on our last trip and it was so tranquil. Quite a few years ago we went to the WL to see the Christmas lights and it was very pretty, but it was pouring rain outside so we didn't explore any of the resort outside. All we saw was the lobby, but that was worth the trip!

I love the snow pics of the girls, too cute! You got a good amount of snow compared to us over here. We have about an inch of snow. I see you are starting to plan your trip for the Christmas season November is my favorite month in Disney because the Christmas decor is up and it's usually warm enough to swim. December was nice but cold on our trip and that the first week of December. Then again no guarantees on weather in FL, look at last May .

Thanks Nichole! Now it seems like everything has turned to ice--it's too slick to go out and play today, unfortunately. We are SUPER excited about going to see all of the Christmas decorations and enjoying all of the festivities!! I know! Who would have thought we would have been rained out in May?! Crazy!!

The snow pics of the girls are super cute! I know how exciting it can be to get snow when it comes so rarely. Feel free to come and take some of ours any time you want.

Thank you, Lessa!! We like it every once and awhile but I couldn't imagine having it the entire winter.

We didn't get much more than that in our neighborhood, but I think we probably got the least of anyone around here. From the pictures I've seen on FB from church and school friends, their yards and streets look worse than ours.

Hi Becky! Those snow day pics are so cute! The pics of Claire holding your VB umbrella are adorable. I know what you mean about the city coming to a halt when the snow falls down there. I grew up in VA and my senior year we had sooooo many snow days - usually for snowfall of an inch or so. Now, living up in MA, I'm still not totally used to the frigid temps or large snowfalls, but am starting to see 6-8 inches as nothing big. I love your neighborhood too! Pretty houses.

They don't know how to drive in it, we don't have the appropriate sand/ice trucks or plows, etc. And they hype it up to be sooo much more than it really is--it's insane!! My parents are from NJ and they just laugh at the situation!

If you are still looking for customs let me know. I ordered a couple dresses and the lady that made them was amazing!!! She's an older lady who lives with her son and sews many hours a day. The pictures don't do justice...I was super impressed by the quality. I'd just send them to you to borrow if I thought they'd fit either of your girls but Caya is probably right in between your girls.

She loved it so much it convinced me to just purchase my own (single). I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and wish I would have had it several years ago.

I'm hoping to get a good chunk of time to work on my TR tomorrow. We don't have our next trip planned yet so I'm going to tag along with you and your planning to keep my Disney spirits up!

Great fun in the snow!!

We got APs, I know you have had a lot of info on these but we did get them last summer, and definitely took advantage of the room discount.. You can totally still get the DP if you do a room reservation on an AP discount... You may have to call Disney -- but it sounds like the TAs do this for you too... We didn't have any problem, but we booked it straight through Disney. Anyhow, we went four time in our AP year, so the AP was a no brainer for us to not spend the $ on tickets... We used an AP rate and then we used a Bounceback rate which had better dates... so while it does give you discount opportunities on rooms, also consider that you will break even on the ticket costs alone -- and get other perks -- if you are going to use them at least twice... so it is kinda a win-win situation....
