Today is a snow day!! I got the call at 5:30 am that school was cancelled!! The girls were sooo excited!! You see, we only get snow once a year so it's not something we're used to here in the South. So we're stuck at home indefinitely--I'm just praying that the power doesn't go out! Anywho, I wanted to share some pics of the girls playing in the snow!

So cute. Playing in the snow is so much fun. Here in St. Louis we're a little jealous. The snow just missed us... It's either to the North of us or to the South of us. Never dumped on top of us

Cute snow pics Becky! The girls look like they were having a lot of fun. We started getting some light snow around 3:30pm but in the last hour is has really started to come down. The grass is finally covered now. It's supposed to last all night....I can't wait! We may get to build our first snowman ever!

I took a few pictures of the ice and snow today, but haven't uploaded them yet. Don and the boys are planning on making a snowman tomorrow - I can't wait to get pics of that since we rarely get enough snow to make one! I'll post some on my TR tomorrow.

I just have to say I had to just a little at the amount of snow that cancelled school! My boys get so mad because we can get a foot of snow and still have school! Here in upstate NY we have the amount of snow in your pics all winter....we rarely see the ground between November and April!

The girls look like they had a great time! Love the pics...thanks for sharing!

I noticed that you changed your title to include your November/December trip!!! I know how you feel...I can't stop planning for it. I may cave in and start my PTR early...hehe.

Did you get that email from Angela about the Disney Dream ship? I LOVE the Nemo cove for the kids to cool off, but still play in the water. Amazing! Chris was excited about the golf and simulated sports area. We are still going to try to go mid May 2011.

Nichelle posted the new website for the Hawaii resort!! It was crazy because I was searching it a few weeks ago and all I got was a press release and a few articles. It looks just AMAZING!!! I showed Chris and he said "Ok...Summer 2012"!! Haha I think he and Brent are finally bitten by the Disney bug

Ok---back to read more about Christmas. Thank you so much for the heads up on the Candlelight Package!!! It seems SO amazing. I read about it on allears. I just LOVE the restaurant choices (way more than Fantasmic) and, most important, the reserved seating. It will be so beautiful!!! Is it the same thing as far as 2 table service dinings with the dining plan?

Yes, I know it is pretty funny to those of you who are used to this kind of weather!! Here they cancel schools with even the THREAT of bad weather! The girls had a BLAST playing in the snow!!

That's so true, Barbara!! We really didn't have enough snow to build a snowman. We are supposed to get more snow tonight--so hopefully Brent can help them build one tomorrow!! Yes!!! My umbrella is VB!! Good eye!
