They'd Better Get Ready on the East Coast!! May 2009 **TR started on TR boards!!**

I'm so jealous you saw Colbie! Her song 'Bubbly' was my Aunt's favorite and they played it at her funeral.

:thumbsup2 Cute hair! I cannot believe you only have 13 days until your trip! :hyper2:

I know!! Can you believe May is coming so quickly?! Not that I mind!

Aww that song must be bittersweet for you then.:lovestruc It's a really pretty song, though. I hope she comes out with a new album soon!

cute hair!! :) and your trip is SOOO soon!!! :)

I know! I started laying out my clothes for packing today. It always makes me feel like the trip is right around the corner. Two weeks today we'll be watching Illuminations and eating pretzels with cheese sauce. Mmm!!!

Okay, I have a confession to make.

I did a little bit more shopping today. I went to the mall with a friend and... well.... money was spent.:rotfl: Seriously though, when I was packing I realized I needed a few things! And (mostly) everything was on sale. And when you're shopping with a friend it's like constant enabling. Plus I haven't put anything on my credit card yet this month. I have to put something on to keep my credit score up, right?

So now that you're on board with me shopping-wise, I'll show you what I bought!:thumbsup2

This white tee is to go under 2 sundresses I plan on wearing on the trip. I don't really feel comfortable in strappy tops, I like wearing a plain tee underneath. Plus the layering looks kind of cute! I liked that this one had kind of interesting sleeves.

I got a pair of cover up terry cloth shorts, but I can't find them online. Once my camera's charged I'll upload a picture.

I swear these are cuter in real life than they are in this picture!

Also from Chapters I bought Rachel's Holiday and Watermelon by Marian Keyes. I need some fun chick lit books for the plane and for relaxing in a beach chair beside Stormalong Bay with some sort of fancy drink.:goodvibes I also bought Jpod by Douglas Coupland because it was on sale, but I'm not sure yet if it's going to be a "Disney" book or just one that I read here. Yeah, I "designate" my books.:rotfl:

Tomorrow I'm going to fax my room request to the Yacht Club and continue on with the packing! Also, I've got church and another trip to the airport to calm my nerves. I'm really looking forward to the best of Amy Poehler on tonight's episode of SNL starting in 15 minutes. I'm a big fan!

It was a beautiful day here in Toronto today. I am just loving the weather lately, it is putting me in such a cheerful mood!

Hope all of you guys are having a great weekend!:flower3:

Where'd the pic of your bangs go?

I deleted it.

I debated it for a while and then I got all worried at looked kind of Myspace-ish and I just didn't like it.:rotfl: I'm kind of an overthinker. I'm going to let it dry wavy tomorrow and take a new picture with me actually looking at the camera and smiling.:goodvibes

I Mapquested directions to the airport because neither of us will be thinking too clearly at 5:30 in the morning and they have us crossing the Queenston-Lewiston bridge. Hopefully we don't get lost... this is our second time flying out of Buffalo but I was so young the first time that I barely remember it. What route do you take? I'm wondering if there's a certain border crossing that is least busy?

:cheer2::cheer2:I'm starting packing today!!:cheer2::cheer2:[/QUOTE]

I think that at 5 in the morning it doesn't matter. Actually I am in Vancouver as I type this. I flew out of Buffalo to Seattle (and then got picked up by friends in Vancouver) on Friday. I crossed the border at queenston-lewiston just before 6am. There were four cars in front of me and only one border crossing guard open for business.

They are doing construction at the duty free and the only bathrooms available are portables. It wasn't pretty. I choose to continue driving.

I've only driven there myself once before. It was easy though. I'm even parked in the "coupon" parking lot. I think you'll do just fine.

Ahh, Vancouver. I love it there so much. I would like to move there for a few years once I'm done with school. It's so beautiful there! We're planning on parking in the "coupon" lot too, is it pretty close to the terminal? Thanks for the info!:goodvibes Hope you're having fun!

Love the purchases! I designate my books too. I don't think it's weird at all. :lmao:

Oh good. I'm going to read a little of each book first to make sure they are "pool-worthy". I don't want to get settled in a chair, ready for a great read only to realize the book sucks.:rotfl:

I remember in your PTR you mentioned a book that you bought for the trip... was it a Jane Austen or Gone With the Wind book or something? Have you flipped through it at all yet?

The book I got is called "Jane Austen Ruined My Life." I haven't really flipped through any of it but I usually can tell from the back cover summary if I am going to like it or not. It looks like a good one! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I'll take a look for it next time I'm at the bookstore.:thumbsup2

Tomorrow is our last day of double digits!!! AHHH!!:dance3:

Yep, your hair has time to grow out!:goodvibes Have you figured out any cute ways to clip them back until they grow? I'm thinking of clipping mine back at Disney anyways because I can just imagine myself wandering around with sweaty bangs plastered to my forehead LOL.

Yup! I bought one fo those clip-snap barrettes thingies - do they have a formal name? I twisted my bangs and clipped that back. It looked decently good! :goodvibes

Your itin looks good!

We will be at Epcot on May 5th too! Jenna will turn 15 that day and she choose Epcot to spend the day in. I'm not too sure about our other days as of yet. Chances are we'll be doing EMH AM at Animal Kingdom too.

I have to make sure the troops are onboard with all the the other plans I made. LOL!!!

your plans look great! yummy places to eat, great place to stay, funs things to do! you got it all! :lovestruc

Your plans look great! I can't believe your trip is soooo soon! I am excited for you! Sorry I have been so absentee recently! :confused3

AAAHHH!! Your trip is SOOO soon! :woohoo: Your plan looks great! It looks like you're going to have some great relaxing time--I'm so looking forward to that our trip! :thumbsup2 Oh--and cute new clothes!

Hey, girlie! I'm finally all caught up! Yay! :yay: Today's your last day of double digits? WOW! You're SOOOOOO CLOSE! :woohoo:

I loved the pics of your Easter celebration. We never do anything fun for Easter anymore. The egg toss sounded like a blast. And I love that your family members know how to play the bagpipes. So cool! :thumbsup2

I also am trying to eat better and working on getting back into shape! We're going to the beach at the end of June and I want to look hot! We should be workout buddies! :goodvibes

Speaking of hot, the new hair color is awesome! I wish I'd been around to see the bangs picture before you took it down. Put a new one up soon! I wanna see the rockin bangs!

The road trip playlist is awesome! And I LOVE the songs your mom picked, particularly "All These Things I've Done" which is one of my favorite songs EVER. :cool1: Your itenerary looks great too! I can't wait for your trip and your TR afterwards. I'm so excited for you I could just burst! :cool1: :yay: :woohoo:

WOW!!! I can't believe you guys leave for WDW next week. It has gone by SO fast!! I'm sure you're not excited at all, right? :rotfl: I hope the crowds are gone and you guys have a fabulous time!! Your itinerary looks great. I especially love staying at MK until the wee hours of the evening -- so fun!
