Closer and closer!

I like the flipper-floppers. I don't wear them much since I seem to swish a bit more and the noise drives me crazy. Weird, I know.

The dress is super cute! Do you have your packing done? I didn't even start! LOL!

I still haven't gotten myself to a Dollar Tree or Michael's to pick up small Disney gifts but I'm going to try this week. I love that pen! I want an Aurora one.

Nope, I haven't quite finished packing yet. I do, however, have clothes strewn all over my bedroom floor! They're ready to go in the suitcase, they just haven't made it there yet!

I know what you mean about flip flops and the noise they make. I used to not be allowed to wear them though, because my ballet teacher said they were bad for our arches (the flat ones) so now I feel a little rebellious when I wear them! The Reef ones are sooo comfy though!

I don't think you are being shallow at all about your braces. You could always ask the photopass people to take the pictures from the waist up, most of them do that anyways.

Aw, I hope your knee doesn't cause any pain throughout your trip. If anything, you could always rent an ECV to help ease the pain and run small children over. I'm totally kidding. Oh, and I don't think you're being petty about the brace at all. I'd probably think the same thing! The good thing is that I'm sure you'll have a lot of pictures where you won't even be able to see the brace. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Oh, and I'm kind of a towel snob too. Those hotel towels are so scratchy and not very absorbent. Love your new Disney towel...very cute! And that dress --- so cute and such a GREAT deal!!!

I can't believe you leave THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!! It seems like you just started your PTR and now you only have a few days left. I hope you guys have a BLAST!!!!!

Woo hoo I'm not the only towel snob! I hate non absorbent towels. Fun fact: I bring a Shamwow with me to the pool to dry off in the locker room and then roll my bathing suit in.

Okay, I just now noticed that you have "Watch Stacey" in your plans...That's all we ever watch on the tv in our room! Yes, by the time the trip is over we've seen her a million times......but it's WDW! We can watch regular tv at home!

We are HUGE Stacey fans! When I read about the filming going on through the DIS, I got a little sad... I don't want them to change it! LOL We have so many of the lines memorized, it's so much fun to randomly bring them up around the parks.

I love flying out of Buffalo, so much cheaper than Toronto! I think Buffalo airport is great, so small and convenient... cross the Peace Bridge and a short drive from there!

Buffalo really is so much cheaper than Toronto. A slight inconvenience but it seems like it will be really worth it. Plus I'm really looking forward to having the benefits of a domestic flight with ME!

And lastly, no. You're not being silly or vain or anything about your knee braces. I would feel the same way. I might have to wear my back brace, but I'm thankful you can't really see it under my clothes. But you know, it's so much better that you're wearing them than suffering. And Disney is so great, that I'm sure you'll forget all about having them on once you get there!

I am a massive Forever 21 fan! They only came to Canada about 2 years ago, and their clothes are so cheap! I love shopping there.

I know, I was thrilled to get it for such a good price! The Forever 21 here usually doesn't have a sale rack so I was extra happy to get it for so little. I'm getting so excited!!

Yippeee ... a few more days and you are off! I am so excited for you and can't wait to hear all about it, we have only 19 days left to go. Started throwing some of our stuff into a laundry basket (suitcases are still in the basement) but I really don't like packing. There is always so much to bring and last minute things to buy. My PTR is titled 'It's Been 10 Long Years' ... not sure how to link it to this. I am still new on the board!

The flip flops are cute ... I will just be wearing my Tevas, in case I get drenched on the rides! And don't worry about the knee brace (you are not being vain), as long as you are comfortable and be able to walk, that is all that matters. My hubby wrecked both his knees playing hockey and has two braces that he uses.

I've got another little update! This might be one of the last before we leave!

First of all, I meant to get this picture posted ages ago but it slipped my mind. Oh well, here it is now! I got the idea of decorating pillowcases from Scooby's thread, her and her daughter decorated them and it looked like so much fun! My mom and I both did one and we had a great time. We got fabric paint markers and plain white pillowcases from Wal Mart and they took us just over an hour. The Mousekeepers might think we are somewhat crazy but I don't care! Here is mine:

Thanks so much for all of your kind words about them, everyone. I felt kind of silly and vain posting that they bothered me, but I should have known that the DIS is the best place to get some Disney perspective! I will try and get waist-up pictures taken and remember that I'm in DISNEY.

Also, I'm really happy that one of my mom's friends got a copy of Confessions of a Shopaholic (the movie) before it was released to watch on the plane! I've already seen it in theaters, and I really enjoyed it but my mom hasn't seen it yet. I think it will be the perfect thing to watch. Not that I'm any sort of a shopaholic myself.

It has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL here the past few days. Another warm, sunny day today! It was perfect because we got to take the kids at the hospital outside on the terrace for a while and they just loved it. I spent the better part of the day giving wagon rides. It's so nice to be able to see them get some fresh air, they were all in wonderful moods. Especially because right on the edge the sun wasn't blocked, it must have felt so nice to them to feel the sun on their skin. It really was lovely.

The hourly countdown makes me feel like the trip is even closer!! If I was more mathematically inclined I might start a minute by minute countdown but that might be just SLIGHTLY overboard.

For flip flops, the Reefs are expensive (54.00) but I'm hoping they hold up well. They came with a 6 month guarantee so though, which is good!

And thanks, you're right about the braces. I didn't bring them in December and my knees were miserable. They ARE worth it!

Those pillow cases are such a neat idea!

I love having antibacterial stuff with us. We have mini bottles of hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes to wipe down the tables for CS.

Speaking of which... we've had a slight change in travel plans and are now thinking of driving down to Buffalo on Thursday and then spending the night before our flight Friday morning. I have sooooo much stuff to do between now and then... shifts at the hospital, more packing, seeing friends, cleaning... I don't know if I'll be able to post another update before we leave. So this might be it!

I can't wait to tell you guys all about it when I'm back! I'm no longer concerned about the swine flu because there are no confirmed cases of it here in Toronto. If I'm going to be somewhere infected with the flu... I might as well choose Disney! LOL I am so darn excited. I'm hoping to start my TR on the 10th or so... I'm so impatient and I'm really looking forward to writing one! I really hope to see all of you over there. To everyone who's leaving before I get back... I wish you all wonderful, magical trips! I can't wait to hear all about them.

I didn't think we would stay over in Buffalo the night before originally. I changed my mind about a week before (or rather I finally convinced Dh a week before). I'm so glad I did. There was no rush at the border. I had time in morning to do some shopping and best of all...It made our vacation start a day earlier!
