So did DH actually it seemed a bit sad to me but there were some more upbeat moments, the songs were great and the dancing was amazing I loved all the different influences - worked very well together

Yeah, they also had a preview for a new movie that Zac Efron is going to be in and they all started screaming at that too. Good times. Be warned though, you are going to have the songs stuck in your head after you see it!

Wasn't it great?! I agree, it was kind of sad. Like when they said how they only have 16 more minutes in a Wildcat uniform. Awwww!! But overall it was really enjoyable. Emma already said we have to get it when it comes out on DVD.

A while ago I mentioned that I had ordered those customized maps from the Disney World website. It's not like I actually need maps but I thought they'd be kind of fun and hey, they're free, so why not! I got them about a week ago and thought I'd share what they looked like. Gotta love getting Disney mail!

A fun Disney envelope!

The whole package...complete with stickers to mark favorite attractions. The maps are double-sided.

You get a whole resort map in addition to a map for each park.

Disney tips including things like photopass/fastpass and the golf courses.

You pick your favorite attractions on the website and they highlight them in yellow and then put everything else on as well.

Here's how they compare to the park map size...they're the same length but bigger in height.

I also got my first item for the trip...a new Vera Bradley bag! I loooove this pattern so much! This will be my carry-on bag (I don't plan on bringing a lot on the plane with me so this'll be perfect).

And last but not least I thought I'd share some of my new Disney ornaments for this year. They're all from Hallmark. So cute!

I went to see HSM 3 today as well! Well, my excuse was I took the kids!
Not enough Sharpay in my (humble) opinion, but was still v good! Definately more of Zac Efron this time - not that I was complaining!
Though it is slightly disturbing that someone who is so much younger than I am is still so fanciable!

Isn't it so pretty? There's also the same pattern with a blue background but I liked the white better. It's springy but also reminds me of snow. LOL. Yep, 50 days tomorrow...crazy!

Well, my sisters and I just got back from High School Musical 3! I know there's a couple people on here who are planning on seeing it, so I won't give away any spoilers. But I will say that it was a very very cute movie. Cheesy (of course!) but a lot of fun. I loved the songs and the dancing. We all had a great time. When Zac Efron first appears all the little girls started screaming. It was pretty funny. It's kind of making me wish my high school life was like East High... It was also kind of funny because when the show before ours was letting out I saw a couple kids who are members at the country club I worked at over the summer and they noticed me. One said hi but the other one just sort of stared at me, like he knew who I was but couldn't place where he'd seen me before. haha

Anyways...no major updates but 52 days until our trip!

I saw it last night. I liked it and thought it was cute. It was very cheesy. Is it just me or is Gabriela (Vanessa Hudgens) completely annoying? I just think her character is WAAAAY to sweet for my liking. Oh while the movie was on there were these two little girls (about 13-14) and when Zac Efron came on the screen one of them said really loud "Marry me now!)

Thanks on the bag. I've only gotten into Vera Bradley in the last couple of years but I've seen some of the really old patterns and those are REALLY old ladyish! The newer ones aren't so bad.

Hi DIS friends! I can't believe that it's the end of October already! It's definitely starting to feel like fall here in Wisconsin. It's been pretty chilly the past couple of days...yesterday there were even some snow flurries. And of course with the cold weather I feel like I'm starting to get a cold. Let's just say I'm looking forward to having Thursday and Friday off because of Teacher's Convention!

But, on the positive side...

We've reached 49 days. Yes, only 49 days left until our trip! I didn't get a chance yesterday to post another picture for hitting 50 days. But here it is! I don't think I've posted this one yet. This was from about 1993. As you can tell from my signature, we used to stay at the Polynesian all the time. We loved being so close to the Magic Kingdom (and of course being on the monorail loop!) and the resort is just beautiful. One of our favorite things to do was go onto the beach and play in the sand. It was just so much fun! We all would love to stay there again some day.

I've also been thinking about more things to add to my list of must-dos. I saw on here a couple days ago that the T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney is now open. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe on our trip in May and really enjoyed it so I'd love to eat at the TRC this time. It looks like a blast! Here's the link to the blog if you're interested. T-Rex Cafe

I also saw on the DIS home page all the information about the holiday happenings around Disney World. AHHH I seriously cannot wait any longer! I just love all the decorations and special events. I actually subscribed to a couple of Christmas photo threads to hold me over until we go.

I stepped off the plane this afternoon and I'm already in withdrawal despite being lucky enough to go again in December (who's counting? ). I will have to look for Christmas photo threads... any in particular you recommend? I am SO looking forward to seeing WDW in its holiday finery. They did an amazing job with Halloween decorations in the Magic Kingdom so I can't even imagine Christmas. Some Christmas lights were already up (not on) in Hollywood Studios.
