There are no sharks at WDW, so let's go!!!

The question of the day.

I have never been inside GF and I have an ADR for the Garden View Tea and a dinner at GF Cafe.

I always look forward to riding the monorail.
OOOOHHHH you will love the inside of the GF!! That is my DREAM resort! I actually love the outside of the resort too. There's something about the crisp white buildings and brick red roof. You'll have to let us know how the Tea and the Cafe meals are.
I have never ridden Dumbo, and it's first on my list for our next trip! My can't wait to do again would have to be BTMRR.......
REALLY???? Dumbo isn't really exciting, but there is something nostalgic about it. It's timeless. You'll have fun!! I like BTMRR too!! It's a roller coaster for all ages.

Since Racefann brought up the GF my next question is

What is your favorite resort that you've stayed in or would want to stay??
I say GF! The Yacht Club is a close second.

Hmmm, I want to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge (our next resort)! After that, I would like to stay at the Grand Floridian!

My favorite was the Polynesian when we had the Magic Kingdom view. That was a nice sight to look at each night! :thumbsup2

I'm anxious for our next two stays at Beach Club and Animal Kingdom (Kidani) but I would love a Grand Floridian or Poly stay sometime in the future!

I would like to stay in the Wilderness Lodge, I only have stayed at ASMU. and this time it will be Pop's. I think the moderate I would like to stay at is Port Orleans French quarters, sounds very relaxing to me.

I have another question for question of the day!!!!!

Sinice tommorrow The Easter Bunny is coming.
What is your favorite Disney character?

of course mine is Mickey Mouse:mickeyjum

I hope everyone has a nice Easter hoilday, celebrating with family and friends
Grace

Oh wow, right now I would say, Snow White, but it could change at any given moment..........:rotfl:

OOHHH AKL is a good choice. DBIL REALLY wants to stay at that one.

THAT would make it awesome!!!!!
I want to stay in the Contemporary. With AKL second.
Most excellent. If I stayed at the Contemporary, I would want a room facing the Monorail. I still think it's so cool that a train runs through a hotel.

You lucky duckies!!!! Two stays this year :yay::yay:

I would like to stay at POP too. We've stayed at ASSP and it was fun, but I want a frozen Coke! You would really like PORFQ. It's so calm and peaceful and the resort is a lot smaller, so not so far to walk to the lobby.
I would have to say that my favorite character would be Dori from finding Nemo. Do you think they'll ever get those characters out signing autographs???
Oh wow, right now I would say, Snow White, but it could change at any given moment..........:rotfl:
Snow White is a good choice. It's so hard to choose just one. Like I like the little rabbits and turtle from Robin Hood. Or Baloo from Jungle Book.

I'd like to stay at the Poly on our December trip so that we could watch the fireworks and then just go straight to our room without having to deal with bus crowds in the wee hours of the morning.

That's not happening, though.
We're staying at Pop and will be dealing with bus crowds. :crowded::crowded::crowded:

Happy Easter Lisa:flower1:
Since today is Easter had we are all proburaly enjoyin a feast with our family:)

The question of the day is.....
What is your favorite meal you have eaten at WDW?

This a hard question for me to anwser, I think my favorite would be the dinner we had in the castle. this was the night our daughter got proposed to during dinner, I'm not sure what I ate that night but I will always remember that night.

I am a giant fan of Le Cellier, but we also had a great meal at Biergarten this past March...

Hey Lisa - I'm just stopping by to say hello and apologize for slacking so much! :flower3: Life's been incredibly busy and I just don't know how to juggle it all these days! Family's on the way home (they should be there by now) so hopefully this week I'll have time to update my Dec trip, start Feb TR and start a pre-trip report!!

I love the questions of the day - what a great idea!! You never "cancel" a Disney trip - just change the dates! :rolleyes1 Whatever happens, it'll work out just how it's meant to be. I was thinking of you on Thursday. The travel channel had all kinds of Hawaii shows on and I kept thinking how beautiful it is there then about you and your poor husband! I'd love to go some day...maybe if they moved it closer and put nets around it to keep the sharks out! :rotfl:

Talk to you soon!!

HAPPY EASTER to you and your family, sorry its late but I only just got back today and have been trying to catch up with everything. We had a lovely little holiday but it really wasn't long enough. I so miss living near the sea, and my family :sad1:

That's a GREAT idea!! I have never seen the fireworks from the Poly. Do they play the music from inside MK at the Poly? (did you get that?? kinda confused myself even :rotfl:) Maybe that should be on our list of to do's, but then I'd have to go to the TTC afterwards and can I catch a bus to our resort from there?

I'd have to say that my favorite was at LTT. I had THE most yummy pasta dish!

I've contemplated Le Cellier. I'll have go check out the menu and see if there's something we'll all like!

:rotfl::rotfl: I know that you are busy and I'm sure that your house is cleaner than mine because you don't sit around and DIS. Your kids are also a lot younger than mine and need more of your attention at night. By the time you sit down you're exhausted and ready for bed. I understand.
The whole Hawaii thing makes me sad. I think it's so beautiful there and the water is great and I would love to go back. Our first visit there we didn't have very much money and our second trip, well you know. So he hasn't had very good experiences with Hawaii. I lived there for three years so I have my memories from there. You should go someday! It's very pretty!!!

Happy Easter to you too!!!! Did you and Nick go to your family's house or his? Is it warming up over there yet? Have you ever been to Italy? One of my DH partners went there for 2 weeks this month. I would love to go there someday. what about the south of France? I'd heard it was gorgeous?

Thanks :goodvibes. We went down to my Mum's in Devon Saturday before last and stayed there for a few days, and then on the Thursday my parents, Granparents, Sophie, Nick and I went down to Cornwall for a few nights over Easter. We used to go to this particular place every year when I was a child with my Grandparents but everyone stopped going when I went to uni so we haven't been for nearly 6 years. It was great to be back and nothing had really changed, its such a lovely place and it was great to be able to take Nick there to see it. Hopefully we can start going back again, especially when its a bit warmer so when its a it warmer so we can enjoy the pool and the sea. And it was nice to do something different for Easter, Sophie absolutely loved it (she was in the sea having a great time :scared:).

I have been to Italy but only very briefly. Nick used to go all the time to Lake Garda and my Grandparents go a lot and all love it. It is somewhere I really want to go, particularly Lake Garda and Como, Rome and Venice, so hopefully soon. I haven't been to the South of France. I would like to visit one day to see what its like but you kind of get the idea over here that it is full of tourists either wanting to be or look like celebrities, or tourists celeb watching. Are you thinking of going?

It must have been warm enough for Sopie to play in the sea! How exciting to go back to visit a childhood memory and for you to be able to share it with Nick!
I would love to go to both of those places, but I don't think it will happen in the near future!!
