Hey Lisa - I don't like this job thing if I'm here now and you're not DISing because you're working!

We're debating Disney this weekend - myself and two friends who haven't been before. This will be my first time at Disney with no kids and first time away from the boys EVER (the only time Corbin hasn't been with me was when I had Carter and he stayed with Dan's mom that night - he stayed with Dan the rest of the time!). Boy oh boy they're going to flip out if they find out that mommy went to Disney and they have to stay home with daddy!

I'm also working on a surprise trip for their birthday in July (since they'll both - Dan and Corbin - get the $75 gift cards) so they'll be excited for that for sure! Then we're going to try and take our free dining trip in Sept some time (we're actually debating labor day weekend ) so we'll see where that leads.

Hey Grace - it's good to be back! I don't know that I have a favorite character...I just love all things Disney! Corbin's favorite would be Buzz or Mater and McQueen. Carter's would probably be Nemo, Buzz or Stitch. Dan is in love with Jasmine ("Daddy's favorite princess").

Sorry guys! I'm in Omaha this week for my mom's birthday. My dad surprised her with ME for her birthday. Hope she liked her present!

Lynn--- i am all for a no kids trip. We moms need a break from them, plus
plus it makes our families appreciate us just a little more. You would
have a LOT of fun with your friends, I just know. Have I told you
jealous I am that you live so close and can just take off to Disney for
weekend. And I can understand why Jasmine is Dan's fav. Harvey
what Ariel looked like one year.

Racefan--- Yes! The plans are back on!!! DH worked it out and we are
GOING!!!! I am so happy! I was prepared not to go, and I told him
that I would be o.k. with it. But, I did have to tell him that I
would be disappointed and sad if we couldn't go. He said we'll work
it out, and HE did!!! Woohoo!! I'm in Nebraska for a week and I'll
be helping my DSis figure out her trip. I need to help her navagate
the DIS boards. It has been so helpful for me!

I'm hoping to work on my Dec TR and start Feb's yet tonight. Yes it's great to just drive down for the weekend. This move was so expensive for us, two houses for months, starting over, using a lot of our savings and getting exposed to Disney! Can't say I'd change it at all though!

She did like her present. She told my dad that she will never bring up those birthdays past where he forgot.
It really has been fun planning her trip. She gets anxiety about a lot of things and is having some about her Disney trip. She said I could plan her whole trip and that would be o.k. with her. I can't do too much until the Sept hours come out.

Thanks Grace! I am having a great time here at home. My sister and I have laughed a lot. It will be really hard to leave. I miss her so much. Thank goodness for phones! My new niece should be arriving tomorrow sometime. My DSIL is being induced in the morning. Glad I could be here for that.

Ah I hope your having a good time and good-luck to your DSIL with the new baby tomorrow. I am the same with my Mum, I live far to far away and love it when I am there with them and hate having to leave again. Have a great rest off your trip.
