There are no sharks at WDW, so let's go!!!

Yes, he is very blessed! I have told him that he will always "be THAT guy".

THANK YOU!!! You can do it!!

I agree! My DH and I were at a doctors appt one time and there was a lady in a wheelchair and she looked like a hot mess!!! Her clothes didn't match, her hair was a mess, her fingernails were gross, you get the picture. Anyway, I told my husband that if I get to the point where I can't take care of myself, he better make sure that my hair is neat and clean, my nails are done and that my clothes match!!!

That is soooo right. And, if he can't do it, please, at least ask somebody to do it for him.

Hi Lisa
I hope you are having a good day:goodvibes
I liked it when you where doing a "Question of the day," so I thought I ask you a "question of the day"?????? and see if I can ask a question each day to make the time go faster until your trip, and we might just learn some valuable info.

Today Question??
What is your favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom?
favorite snack?
favorite show?

If any one of your family would like to anwser too, or any of the other DISers who are reading your PTR, I would enjoy their anwsers to.

Have a good night and looking forward to your anwers:goodvibes

Thanks Grace for keeping my thread moving right along!
Okay, so, MY favorite ride at MK would have to be Splash Mountain. It's so hard to choose because I like SM too!!! SM will be closed when we're there this summer, so I know the kids will be disappointed.
My favorite snack is probably the Mickey Mouse rice krispie treat. We don't buy a whole lot of snacks in the parks, but that would have to be mine if I had to choose.
Favorite show at MK is definately the Monster's Inc Laugh Factory!! So funny!
What about you Grace? Other readers?

My favorite ride at MK is BTMRR
Favorite snack is a Dole Whip
Favorite show is "Wishes" (do fireworks count)?

Thank you SO much Sunnie!!! It's already starting to fade, so I'm a little sad.

Hey hon, that's just a good excuse to go a little "pinker" or should I say "more pink" next time, lol.

Favorite ride: You all are going to think I'm whaco crazy, but for nostalgia reasons it has to be The Jungle Cruise. I love the corny jokes and I used to love going on it at night and going past the Tahitian Terrace dinner show!!

Favorite show: Hard to say as I haven't been to Monsters laugh floor yet, but I love Mickeys Philarmagic and carousel of progress (again nostalgia comes into play for that one.)

Favorite snack: French toast loaf, which sadly is no more.:sad2:

FAVORITE RIDE It's a Small World
FAVORITE SNACK Dole Whip
FAVORITE SHOWMickey's Philharmagic

Alrighty my most loyal followers, this morning I learned that we might have to cancel the trip. We have to put a new engine in my Jeep. That's a LOT of $$, and I know that my DH knows I really want to go so he's not saying "cancel", but I did. We don't have to make any decisions yet, so I can still hold out hope, but I'm trying to be realistic.
In the meantime, I'll keep posting like we're going and following along on everyone else's PTR's.

So the question today is what time of year is your favorite time at Disney? and why?? I can make a few guesses, but I really like June. It's hot enough that if you get wet on a ride, you'll be dry in a matter of minutes, and you can go swimming without freezing your tuckus off when you get out.

OH NO . I hate to hear that :sad1:. Maybe, just maybe it will work out and you can still go. I know there are priorties though. Please keep posting even if you don't go. I love talking to my Dis friends and I really like talking with you on here.

Actually my favorite time to go is Feburary. It isn't crowed, and the temps are fantastic. Since I live in the South I am not much on the heat. We are going in May because Amanda and Matt will be out of school then. Her spring break was the 3rd week in March and her DBF had plans already.
We have been in Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov, Feb, March, April, May/June and July.

Oh, no! That stinks that you might have to cancel! I hope you don't have to!!!

Back to your question, I think I have two times of year -- June (for the same reasons you gave) and October (a little bit cooler, but still warm, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party)!

Oh wow! So really the only times you haven't gone are Dec/Jan. I don't really desire to go then, other than to see the Christmas decorations. The temps there at that time do not seem desirable.
I hope I don't have to cancel either. DH would love to go to Mexico. His DS owns a place down there, so all we would have to pay for are the flights, which can be fairly inexpensive. We'll see. But, I will definately keep posting. If I don't go this year, it'll happen next year!

We went once in Oct, DH and I and it was quite nice. Mid to lower 80's.
I might have found a solution to the Disney problem. My DNiece is getting married in CA at the end of May and we were just going to send my DH. The fam was planning on going to Disneyland for a couple of days. Well, I could go with him and I could get my fix!!!

I feel the same way about June. :goodvibes

We've only been to wdw once (the 14th will be my second trip), so I have no idea when my favorite time would be, but we are going to try to go late sept/early october for MNSSHP.

I hope things work out for you to go!! We have had to cancel three trips due to various problems and I know how disappointing that is!! Best of luxk!!:wizard:

Oh Lyn I'm sorry about the car problem, I hope you can get it fix and it will not cost to much. I will keep my fingers crossed that every thing works out. Here's some pixie dust to helppixiedust:
So you asked a question, what is my favorite time of year to go WDW.
I only been in Sept so I guess that's my favorite time. I would like to go some time to see the Christmas deorations.:thumbsup2

I have a new question for you:)
What is the one thing ( ride , show, attraction, or food ) that you have never done in the Magic Kingdom and are looking forward to doing on this trip, and what is the one thing you have done before and can not wait to do again?

I'm looking forward to riding the main street trolleys, and I can't wait to get to the Magic Kingdom at opening to see Mickey come in on the train.

I feel the same way about June. :goodvibes

I know that you will like that time of year and MNSSHP is SO much fun. The parade at night is supertastic!!
I'm hoping too, but my reality says probably not. Thanks though. I'll keep everyone updated.

Hi Grace. Yeah, it's going to cost $1500-2000! It needs a new engine. So, we'll see.

As far as the question of the day,
The ride that I haven't done is the Carousel of Progress. I don't think that I have ever riden that. and, I want to take the kids on the train ride. They have never done that either.
I would have to say that the ride that I've done before and am looking forward to doing again would be SM. But it's going to be under referbishment, so I'd have to go with Splash Mountain.

The question of the day.

I have never been inside GF and I have an ADR for the Garden View Tea and a dinner at GF Cafe.

I always look forward to riding the monorail.

I have never ridden Dumbo, and it's first on my list for our next trip! My can't wait to do again would have to be BTMRR.......
