I am too!! I was really starting to get quite sad. We have to make our payment on May 2nd.

Ah I hope your having a good time and good-luck to your DSIL with the new baby tomorrow. I am the same with my Mum, I live far to far away and love it when I am there with them and hate having to leave again. Have a great rest off your trip.

I had a great time! It was VERY hard to leave. I hope to be back sooner rather than later.

So baby update!!! It's a GIRL!!! Kaylee Marie was born last night by emergency cesarian at 10:45ish. Mom and baby are doing well. It was pretty scary there for a while. Kaylee's heartbeat kept going over 200. DSIL was trying her darndest to get that little one out, but Kaylee's "conehead" wasn't cooperating. My DSIL is teeny and Kaylee weighed 8 lbs, so even if her head popped out, her shoulders wouldn't have. We feel very blessed that everything turned out the way it did. She has tons of jet black hair and even had her first faux hawk during her first bath. The nurse was great.
I just hope that I can get back to see her soon! I told my bro to make sure they show her pics of me and tell her about me. It's so sad that I live 13 hours a way.
OT I had a layover in Cincinatti today and I thought I was going to die on landing!!! Holy COW!! The plane was rocking back and forth when we were going down, and then when we touched down I thought the back end was going to sling out from behind and the wing was going to hit the runway!
THEN!!! On my way to Detroit I had the pleasure of sitting by a DRUNK man. First thing he says is "Dang! I was hoping to get to another drink before we took off." Yeah, like you need another!!! Thankfully he passed out before we were even up in the air. BUT, he kept making "stink" during the flight. He would wake up periodically and "read" the paper, but one eye was closed. Yeah, right you're reading the paper! At one point he looked out the window and said "I can smell Detroit already" I wanted to say, "No buddy, that's YOU!!!!!!" He also kept trying to turn on his phone and I had to tell him twice that he couldn't. "I can't even use it when we get up in the air?" UMMMM NO!
He was the first person off the plane and everyone around me started telling me about how they felt sorry for me. Thanks guys! I was just waiting for him to puke! Then it would've been game on!
I have to call CRO tomorrow and find out if I can change my checkin date to the 14th. My nieces wedding reception is the 26th, in WI. Gotta get there!

I am sorry that you are so far away from your family. I know your mom was thrilled to have you home!

Thanks MeMom! I spoke with my dad last night and he said that everything is going well. Mommy is still VERY tired, but that little Kaylee's head is no long a cone.

She is pretty cute! My brother is in la la land thinking because she's not crying in the hospital that it's going to be like that at home... (it's his first)

And, you can laugh about drunk guy, it's o.k. I'm just SOOO glad that it wasn't like a 2 hour flight. The oxygen masks would've dropped from their compartments!

So, my faithful and wonderful friends on this thread, I have made the adult decision to cancel my Disney vacation this year. I have too many things that I need to pay for and it just doesn't make any logical sense to TRY and make things work. DH was still wanting to try and do it because of the kids. The economy is even hurting my DH business and times are not as plentiful as they were a couple of years ago. I'm going to remake my ticker for next year, though!!! My oldest DD will be graduating and that would make a great graduation trip. Maybe I'll plan on staying in a Deluxe Resort, I'll have plenty of time to start saving. I plan on doing a smaller vacation this summer. Gotta take the kids somewhere.
Thank you for following along, and you can bet that I'll start another PTR in the fall. I will DEFINATELY be following along on all of your adventures this summer. I've got to keep the dream alive!!!

It IS a beautiful day in Ohio!!! I actually turned the air conditioner on today because it is going to be humid. I don't mind the heat, but the humidity kills me. You'll have to read my previous post. I just got off the phone with Disney and cancelled my ressie. We just can't do it. But, I did add a new ticker and my plan is to save for deluxe resort for DD graduation. I'm sad, but we can still do some fun things this summer without going to Disney.

I sorry that you won't be able to go your planned trip for this June, but the change in plans sounds wonderful.

Times are hard and we can only pray that they get better.
