Coulson: "Seriously, honey, you have to stop proving me wrong. I think you have a purpose and I haven't been broken yet. I know it's inevitable, but it hasn't happened yet." He kissed the top of her head. "Oh, I think I have an idea for your purpose. I don't know if I've got the responsibility to run SHIELD all by myself. I'd still be the head, but I could have a partner. I don't know if people would enjoy me having a teenager for a partner though, so it'd have to be a secret though, even from your father. What do you say?"

Bruce: "Not that this isn't nice and everything, but can we talk about why you jumped off the tower?"

Raven: "It's really rather simple Bruce. Let's look at it like it's an equation: weapon + weapon being taken over by the wrong hands and used against its creators and allies + heavy damage sustained + general feeling of incompetence + shame and guilt + anger + worthlessness + broken mind + broken self + rejection + failure + distrust + loss of purpose + giving up = suicide."

"If it makes you happy Phil, I solemnly swear I won't jump off any more buildings.....unless it's exploding or on fire in which case I probably have a higher chance of surviving that way.....or if I'm chasing someone, or they're chasing me.....or if I'm trying to get somewhere....you know what, let's just say I won't jump off anymore buildings with the intent of killing myself."

OOC: I'm sorry I haven't been on over the weekend, birthday parties and baseball games and worst of all, one of our kittens got attacked by a dog and is currently dragging itself around, not using it's hind legs, just dragging them, like Briarlight from Warriors (anyone who gets that reference knows it's not good) and we don't know if it's permanently paralyzed or not.

(I'm sorry I have to constantly ask this, but) May I please have a catch-up? Last I read was Fury yelling at Coulson, I believe
