Coulson: He sat down on the bed. "We're concerned about your safety, Raven. I promise, I won't lecture you, I know it only bores you and makes things worse."
OOC: Off to work soon
Jay: "No problem." He had finished his meal but sat by Hope and sipped his tea. "I can't wait to introduce you to my buddies at my old school. They'll love you!"
Clint: "No, I mean it."
OOC: Okay Hope: "You sure?" Raven: "Whatever. You just want your weapon back. I'll be okay."
Steve: "Here are the rules: you don't tell anyone about the secrets you learned tonight. If your classmates ask, you tell them only that the kids are safe and not coming back."
Steve: "A reasonable possibility."
Jeff: He (then responded with, "Okay, I'll go." He was escorted out. "Oh, thank you." he said. "And I hope everyone makes it out okay."
Coulson: He took her hands in his. "I wasn't your supervising officer to make you a weapon. I care about you like you're my own daughter. You are not a weapon."
Jeff: He then responded with, "Okay, I'll go." He was escorted out. "Oh, thank you." he said. "And I hope everyone makes it out okay."
Raven: "Well, I guess you failed, Phil, because I became on in the end. Happens to all of us, even the best of us I suppose. We don't always get what we want."
Steve: "I do too kid. I do too. Have a safe ride home. Thank you fore= being understanding. It was nothing personal."
Raven: "Well, I guess you failed, Phil, because I became on in the end. Happens to all of us, even the best of us I suppose. We don't always get what we want."
Steve: "I do too kid. I do too. Have a safe ride home. Thank you fore= being understanding. It was nothing personal."
Coulson: He sighed and shook his head. "Raven, sometimes-er-some people-no, no, that's not right-" he sighed. "Just please don't do something like that again. We care too much about you to lose you."
Raven: She just waited him out when he stuttered. In training, Raven used to ask the whys - why things were, why people were like they were, why they had to do things, and Phil would sometimes struggle to explain them in a way that would make sense to a kid and not scare them unnecessarily. "It's my life, I can do what I like with it."
Coulson: "You say that, but then you also say that you're our weapon, like you're not a real person, Rave. Right now I'm just happy you're acknowledging that you have a life."
Raven: "I'm not, I'm just a live weapon."
Coulson: He groaned and flopped back on the bed. "The one time I actually get a thought out without overthinking it you have to go and correct me! I'm trying here, Rave!" He looked up at her, hoping to get one of those looks where it showed that she was amused but did not contain a smile.
Raven: There was just a tiny bit of amused sparkle in her eye. "I can't help being smarter than you Coulson."
Coulson: "you always have been, Rave." He smiled up at her.
Raven: One of the corners of her mouth turned up slightly, but then it dropped and she looked away. "It doesn't matter though. Nothing ever matters."
Coulson: He sat up and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug. "You matter. To so many people."
